ASK in Durham City agreed to take our large group of 32 including 15 kids as a walk-in yesterday afternoon, after bowling at Lane 7 a few doors down, for a footy team end of season celebration. We were quite noisy as you can imagine but they set the upstairs up for us especially, and the service was friendly, professional and efficient. The food came out quite quickly for the hungry kids, and prices are reasonable too, especially for the kids’ meal deal. It was also good quality and tasty. The staff were very accommodating and patient, including the chefs. Thanks so much for helping us make a special day out for the boys!

Had a lovely dinner with my two kids and both ate for free!! Pizza express and TGI Friday’s only provide one free kids meal per adult meal, but Ask Italian fed my two kids for free with one paying adult meal! Rachel and Alex were wonderful and cheerful making us feel welcome and well looked after. The restaurant is nice and clean and the food tasted nice! My kids asked to come back to that restaurant so definitely will!

Good food and excellent service from Alex who went over and above helping me to find a wine I liked. On our next visit she helped us find a quiet table and had remembered my choice of wine. A delightful young woman and an asset to the company.

Great evening, especially under the circumstances. One of our party was not very well with a heart condition. Your team and in particular Lee were exceptional. Not only did they deal with the situation with aplomb, they ensured we enjoyed the rest of the evening. Thank you very much.

we had an amazing time, our server lee was incredible and we thoroughly enjoyed our time more because of him. he recommended many different dishes and made the experience smoother for us. he was very kind and friendly to everyone. we wish we could have tipped him more! the atmosphere was lovely, nice and quiet, and the food tasted amazing too! highly recommend coming here for any occasion!

The food was amazing, especially the garlic bread with mozzarella! They were super careful with allergies, definitely a great place to go if you’re gluten free. Our server Lee was an absolute king, he was so kind and chatty and truly made the experience for us. Love you Lee!!!!

Mia and Alex are absolutely fantastic, you would never have known there was only two of them. They were so attentive and nothing was a bother. My wife even had a hypo and they interrupted what they were doing to get her some sugar. Thanks for a lovely lunch

Loved the experience here. The food was very fulfilling and delicious, the service here was amazing, especially Lee, he made me and my friends feel very welcomed and we all throughly enjoyed our evening. Highly recommend.
