What an amazing place to stay! From walking through the huge doors you are greeted by an open staircase. Even the reception area is elaborately decorated with so much to see.|We were shown to our room on the top floor. It was bright and clean and the bathroom was huge with a bath and a shower! |There is so much to see on each floor, artworks everywhere, look around a few times or you will miss something!|Breakfast on the veranda was such a wonderful experience, so much delicious food served by some lovely waitresses. Watching Catania wake up whilst enjoying breakfast was so lovely.|The bed was comfortable and we both slept well. |We only stayed in Catania so that we could take a trip to Mount Etna, I wish we could have spent longer at Asmundo di Gisira and enjoyed all that it has to offer. |Street noise could be an issue but I wore ear plugs (husband didn’t) so it didn’t bother me.

Absolutely!! We loved our stay. Our room was absolutely beautiful, comfortable with two balconies. Our room was the Writer’s Room. The artwork, the decor throughout, the delicious , and beautiful presentation of the breakfast was so special. Three tiers of delicious goodies, and made to order coffee and eggs. The breakfast staff provided personal attention and friendly service. So do attentive!!|Now, the personal and excellent service from the front desk staff. They were amazing. Dafne communicated directly with my husband before our trip and provided all the necessary details. Once we met her she was also very helpful, friendly, and attentive to us. Her colleague was also excellent. He ( we forgot his name) was also very attentive. Excellent staff and a beautiful place that will always be very memorable in our hearts. |Also, a very convenient location to walk to different destinations.

I stayed 4 nights during my birthday trip.||What the hotel does right: ||Authentic Sicilian vibes. The property feels like you are staying in someone's home. The interior design gives a sense of place to the space.||Rooms and bathrooms were spacious. ||The breakfast on the veranda is out of this world. It was truly a treat to look forward to each day.||Where the hotel can improve:||Check-in: I stood waiting in the street several minutes completely disoriented after a long international flight. No one answered or opened the door and you cannot directly enter the reception without being let it. This was mid-morning. I would be very concerned if i had a late night check in.||Air-conditioning worked but it took time after entering the room for the room to completely cool.

We had a wonderful stay here for one night when we arrived in Sicily after a long day of travel. While it is a little tricky to get to if you are driving (due to certain roads becoming pedestrian-only in the evening), the staff was incredibly helpful with assisting us in directions and finding a place to park just a 5-minute walk away. It was a little loud with people out and about late at night, but that’s to be expected with the great location by a main square. Also, the breakfast spread was fantastic. Would definitely recommend staying here while in Catania!

Stayed for 1 night recently with my wife and felt compelled to write a positive review. If you like modern art you will love this place as the suites and common areas are full of it. Location in the centre of Catania and front reception desk service are second to none. Great value for money too

Stayed 4 nights here during our honeymoon. Staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, hotel was stunning and the breakfast was easily the best hotel breakfast I could imagine offering a wide selection of eggs, jams, pastries, meat, cheese and drinks. Location provided easy walking to anything we wanted to do during our stay. The area and hotel felt very safe, although it was quite loud at night since it’s in City Center. We slept fine with white noise playing on the TV!! Will definitely be recommending this hotel to any friends or family visiting Catania and we will hopefully be returning!!

Amazing place. Historic palazzo with art exhibits and careful attention to design, history and art throughout. On arrival warm welcome and guided tour of the establishment plan to spend 15-20 minutes learning about this amazing property. Location in the middle of city center walk to everything and easy transit to the airport (but look it up first, they are 10 minute walk to the interbus bus stop not the central station). Definitely worth what we paid and a good place if you want to discover Catania just before or after your flight. We had a lovely stay.

Great location, lovely decorations, spacious room, and very helpful staff. Stayed here for 3 nights during the family Christmas vacation with the in-laws and we thoroughly enjoyed it! We were a group of 7 with 4 rooms so we practically had a whole floor to ourselves. Each room had a unique decoration and vibe to it. The common areas were also covered by art pieces and paintings from local artists. This is THE place if arts are your thing! The breakfast area also has water for you to refill your bottle and also local Italian liquor for you to enjoy (e.g., limoncello). The staff were super friendly and helpful. Also did I mention the breakfast? They were quite good with good varieties such as Italian breakfast pastries, ham and cheese, fruits, and of course coffees! They even prepare eggs on demand which is nice for a boutique hotel like this. Overall, we had a great experience here and would highly recommend it.
