Aspasios Calle Mayor Apartments

Everything was wonderful!! Will definitely recommend and stay here again. Easy check in and check out. Easy to connect with Aspasios team via WhatsApp. Apartment huge and clean with everything you need. Rooms spacious with lots of storage space. Beds comfy. Location right across Plaza Mayor. Walking distance to many places, restaurants and shopping.

Really lovely apartment, very clean, excellent location close to everything. When contacted them, as cleaning kit for dishwasher, washing machine etc not supplied, it was delivered immediately. Recommend, & would definitely stay here again.

The location of the apartment is just in the center of Madrid, in the middle of everything. It was very convenient, as we were travelling with kids, to be able to quik go into apartment if need it. The apartment was very nice and clean with a beautiful view on Calle Mayor street. The kitchen was well equipped so we had breakfast here every morning. Shops are in walking distance and Porta del Sol (metro station) is 2 min walking distance. The free taxi ride from airport was well appreciated. Definitely a very good choice for a Madrid City Break.

week ago we returned from a vacation in Madrid and stayed at this place. Our personal experience was terrible. One morning we discovered that the safe box with our important things (passports, credit cards, money, tablet) had been removed. Stolen !! The entrance to the apartment was known to us through a personal code that I assume the management also has the code. There were no signs of a break-in. Someone opened ||the door and took the safe.||We had to.go.to.the police and.to.the.embassy ,waste many hours and.Monney so ||we.can fly back.home||So far.the.managmrnt.say.they are still checking.with b the.police...bla...bla..Bla..||I would suggest you.think.twice.if.you want.to.book this.place.

Excellent location! The staff has been very supportive although I arrived very late they helped me get in. They answered all my inquires very quickly during reservation process but also during my stay. The room was clean and had all equipment needed and working properly. The minus are: the insulation-you can clearly hear the neighbours- a bad smell from the drainage in the toilet and the low water pressure in the shower. But I would definetely come back again despite these issues.

The old-style wooden shutters didn’t close properly over the full-height windows, leaving large gaps that allowed streetlight to seep in at night, making the room too bright. The area was also too noisy, and even a white noise machine couldn’t provide much relief for sleeping. We traveled with our 6-month-old baby, and the apartment we received (1B) was different from what was advertised in the photos on booking.com. There were no room-darkening curtains, and no safe. The old wooden shutters behind the windows couldn’t close properly, leaving large gaps. Not only could we not make the room dark for the baby, but we could also be easily seen from outside. When I contacted customer service, I was told I was the first person to complain about visibility issues. After a long conversation, they moved us to another unit (unit 1C) the next day. When we checked in, we realized there was no safe in the apartment. We contacted customer service and were told the safes were under routine maintenance. It's unclear why they scheduled this during the high season without informing guests in advance. After further discussion, they brought us a portable safe the following day.

Nice location but is a busy street so plan on closing windows at night and using AC if your apartment faces Calle Mayor. Clean place, nice daylight. Laundry does not include dryer if you need that (have to use a heated towel rack...ok for a few items). Good internet. Property management not on premise.

Superb location, nestled in the most happening area in Madrid. We managed to get a unit here without realizing the importance and where this is actually, but we definitely hit the jackpot with this. Let's dive in! Rooms: The unit was secured via number system and we accessed it very easily. Thanks to all the manual and messages, we entered and stayed very comfortably. Service: The conversation we had via msg was handled professionally and staff went into great lengths to assist us. Being travellers/tourists, we are always asking questions, and the staff who assisted us was very very patient! Location: Less than 5 mins walk from the train station. There are a lot of food options for us around the area. Just need to look around. The place is in a great location for accessibility and amenities. So ya, we will recommend highly to anyone coming over.. So ya, thanks for accommodating us. For those coming over, check out our photos and do check updates online for any changes here. Here is an added tip for Muslim tourists, the big bridge overlooking the town, near the cathedral, 15mins away from this hotel, is near to where Madrid (or formerly known as Mayrit) began, which was named due to the river that flows through. Not 100% sure but that was what we found out 😊. Pls do your own fact check k, we may get it wrong still, hopefully not. 💪.
