Google
Nice little pizza joint right in the heart of downtown. I had the Ajax Pilsner which was fantastic! The wings were also very good. Service was very quick and friendly, and the place had a great atmosphere. Oddly, they serve the beer in plastic solo cups, which I wasn't a huge fan of, but the beer was still top quality so I can't complain! Pro Tip: There's a very small fridge in the middle of the dining area that's very easy to miss with six packs if you want beer to go.

Google
ABC is the place to be. Caught the Knicks playoff game here and couldn’t have picked a better spot. Great atmosphere, solid brews, and Zach went above and beyond—super warm and welcoming. Definitely coming back!

Google
This place rocks ! Great beer, awesome pizzas and great staff ! Brilliant atmosphere and nice clientele. Reasonably priced as well. Will 100% be back. Zak, who took great care of us, is originally from right by where we live in Phoenix ! What a coincidence. Keep up the great work!

Emilie Padgett

Google
Kindest and most responsive staff!! Lively, lovely and always trying new drinks with customers. And the best Bloody Mary and Paloma I have ever had

Tiffany Brooks

Google
Enjoyed our lunch, large plates very shareable! Drinks were tasty!

Google
Nice beer spot in downtown Aspen. Their beer selection, service, and pricing was very good. Make sure to order the duck fat fries!

Mr. Pust

Google
The beer was good. The service was good. The billing was deceptive. The establishment claims to add a 5% service charge on the menu and the receipt, but the charge was actually 5.5%. My beers were $16 and 5% of that would be 80 cents rather than the 88 cents they charged. Half a percent is not a big deal and I would gladly have paid it if they were up front about, but they were deceptive on their menu and on their receipt. A machine does not charge 5.5% and say it is charging 5% without some finagling. I would have given 4 or 5 stars had there not been deception.

Sarah Land

Google
Even when the place was slow, so was the service. But the food was really good! The people were really nice.... just... hard to get served. We sat at bar and ordered tap beers, but still waited like 5+ mins for them to get poured because she walked away after taking our order and someone else gave us our beers.

Yelp
Delicious pizza and beer! We sat at the bar and enjoyed our spot in addition to the service. We made it during happy hour and found it to be a great deal for a couple of beers and pizzas. The pesto on the pepperoni pizza was a unique touch and tasted great.

Yelp
Brewery tap room in Aspen. Mid-sized space, open seating. Busy on a weekend night. Has a few TVs showing sports, but not really a sports bar. Menu has their selection of craft brews, and some appetizers and pizzas, so not really a pub menu. Got a glass of the Ajax Pilsner and a soppressata pizza. Beer was decent, typical light pilsner flavor. You get 20oz instead of 16oz as with the other beers. As for the pizza, it's thin crust pizza. Flavor is decent with the salty soppressata (type of salami) with the basil/pesto flavor. Pizzas are in the $20s, so not that cheap. Overall decent meal at slightly expensive prices due to Aspen.

Chris L.

Yelp
We got take out from here to enjoy a family night in the park. Tbe guy checking us out would not give us plates or plastic utensils. We couldn't buy a single can beer and wouldn't give us parmesan and red pepper to go for pizza. Was extremely rude. So we went to New York pizza and told them our situation and they gladly gave us paper plates and all the things we needed. To top it off pizza was cold. Not a pleasant experience.

Yelp
First stop for food in Aspen and absolutely did not disappoint. Myself and 4 other friends took down 4 pizzas and 2 cheese breads and some of the local beers and had a great time. The pizza was amazing, great crust and delicious flavor on each of the pies. Our server Tara was super cool and gave us some great recommendations. This place is a mandatory stop when visiting the aspen village, I will be back with more friends!

Yelp
Did a beer flight here and it is really neat because they come on skis!! This was called the shotski. The drink was pretty in pink was good as well. Omg we had the pepperoni pizza and it was sooo good!!! It was on the happy hour menu on Sunday and we told them to wait until 3 to put it in for the happy hour price. Came here to watch the game. Only 2 tvs in the place. Not too many places in aspen have multiple tvs.

Yelp
This brewery is in a great location downtown with an amazing Mountain View and lots of people watching opportunities. The food looked really good here, especially the pizza which I saw many tables eating. I came just for the beer and tried "this seasons blonde". It was good, but it didn't really have an exciting flavor like a fruity accent. It definitely had malty hints and it was light, but not my favorite. I wished they had more fruit flavored light beers or ambers, but they seemed to have more traditional IPA, lager, Pilsner, red ale, stout. Nothing unique that really caught my eye! However they also offer cocktails, so there is something for everyone.

Yelp
DOGS ALLOWED INDOORS!! Overall good experience. The food and service was great. I highly recommend the green chili to warm you up post skiing. The budha bowl was pretty good too. The bowl is large and feeds a person. The pizza we had was the meat and potatoe one. As others reviews said it felt undercooked. The pizza was definitely bland and needed way more garlic sauce, way more. Overall prices are typical for the area and I hope this review helps because it's definitely a better place than the 3 stars it has.

Bruce M.

Yelp
Great beer selection at reasonable prices (particularly given the location). Service was very good.

Yelp
DON'T GO HERE FOR THE FOOD. NEW OWNERSHIP, THEY DON'T APPEAR TO CARE ABOUT THE FOOD ONLY YOUR MONEY. It is too bad when a great establishment is bought out by "out of towner's" and they attempt to make it a 'cash machine' for their investors without considering the customers nor menu. The food is not good, overpriced, a limited menu and small portions. Look at the Menu and you realize it was built from margin analysis on a spreadsheet not a quality Chef that cares. This place is a joke from what it used to be. PLZ Don't waste your time or money on the FOOD.. The service is great as it's locals who are working and the beer is the beer.

Yelp
Stopped by Aspen Tap for a casual dinner with a group of four. Excellent brews - especially for me as a hazy IPA lover. My favorite was the Excess In Moderation Hazy IPA. The ambiance and service were also very nice; 4 stars only because I though the pizza was just OK - nothing to write home about.
google avatar

Lisa L.

Yelp
Come for the buffalo chicken dip and a beer after a hike. Chill vibes - no need to look Boujee here.
google avatar

Jeffry L.

Yelp
Great service, good beer. Smallish location but was easy to feed the kids as most places in aspen were packed. Pizza was really cheesy.
google avatar

Mark C.

Yelp
Ok, the reason for coming here is the beer! Very good with a wide selection! The IPA and Amber's were fantastic! After fellow Yelp reviews mentioned getting the Brewduh bowl, I did. FANTASTIC! Lemon hummus, black beans, roasted red pepper and quinoa and arugula. You have got to try this! By the way, the service was very good. Only bummer is it's located on a downtown corner in Aspen. Would have been nice to have a view of the mountains!
google avatar

Terry C.

Yelp
Great outdoor area right on the street so you can see the all the comings and goings in downtown Aspen. Great Margherita Pizza served hot with lots of toppings. Also ordered the pretzel bites served with a beer cheese type sauce again very tasty. Beers were varied with IPA's being the dominate type.. Service started kind of slow as other customers arriving after us were served first. The only reason for this not being a 5 star review. Not a big deal but .....once we got our server he was spot on and very polite. But, heck we were in Aspen and no use getting excited. We saw a lot of vehicles drive up, park, and pick up their pizzas to go.
google avatar

Bob E.

Yelp
Great pizza spot with a menu selection that offers more but damn the pizza was really good. As the name implies they have several local beers on tap. The ambiance is that of a pizza / bar fun and cheerful. Sitting outside enjoying the weather changes the pace. As for service we didn't wait to be seated, order, or be served. All things good here so check it out! Drink up my friends!

Yelp
Went to Aspen Tap straight from the airport, because the allure of vegan pizza and brews was too strong. Beer wise - what a selection. Nowadays, it seems like breweries will go heavy on the IPAs, DIPAs, etc, and have maybe one lager or pilsner. Instead, I was able to build an entire tap out of what I call "beers that taste like beer" (and a shockingly crisp and dry cider) while my husband built a flight of hoppy beers. The favorite was the Gold Level, which was a dry hopped pilsner, so had a bit of a hop to it. Food-wise, the menu clearly specifies the vegan items which include marinated olives, a hummus bowl, tomato coconut soup, and the "Very Vegan" sourdough pizza, with roast yam, vegan mozz, pickled onion, walnut, sag. They used to have cashew cheese pizza apparently, but no more. I was kind of shocked later to see the bad reviews due to service. I think it's important to keep in mind that Aspen has a lot of seasonal labor, many of them young and still learning, so someone you encounter today may not be here in a few months or next year. That said, we were greeted when we got it, got service immediately, and our server was nice and not intrusive.

Yelp
Well, looks like a lot of things have changed since I was last at Aspen Brewing Company. It's moniker is Aspen Tap / Aspen Brewing Company if you do a Google search. For one it's at a different location and the ownership is different. My very first experience was at the old address a while ago and that experience was miserable in various ways. But this newer incarnation showed some improvement. We got the Cloud 9 Saison which was okay. Nothing earth shattering or memorable but decent enough. I am still a bit baffled Aspen doesn't have other breweries and that the brewing scene here isn't more competitive to make some really top notch beers from top notch brewers but alas I guess it isn't meant to be. I mean when it involves Aspen one would thing expectations would be quite high for great food and drink... perhaps to the point where it's unreasonable. But once again the experience was just average. In general I don't care for the craft breweries as much on the Western Slope compared to those in Denver and along the rest of the Front Range. Something that makes many of those breweries memorable and wonderful to the east just isn't carried over the mountains all of the way.

Yelp
We stopped in for a couple of salads, which were very good. Portion sizes were generous. I was really there to try the beer because I like to visit microbreweries. I tried the sampler and was particularly happy with their red and porter beers. Having said this, none of them were bad. The food and beverages were positively enjoyable. On a side note, our waitress was one of the most Impersonable waitresses we had ever met. At the on-site when taking our food order she told two people at my table to be quiet because she could not hear the person across the table placing their order. A simple solution would have been to walk around the table to get closer to the person she could not hear. This was a small table of three people. Yikes!

Yelp
Yeah yeah the wide selection of beers are really refreshing. Yeah yeah the views of the mountains while drinking outside this spot is a must. Yeah yeah the French manager and the German waitress were affable and attentive. I love this kind of diversity *wink* But...did I mention the Caesar salad with extra anchovies? Fuk, that was delectable. I'll be back.
google avatar

Danielle D.

Yelp
Great spot downtown to grab some local beers - prices are what you'd expect for DT Aspen (pricey). Food is good for a brewery (pizza has a great homemade dough and some great toppings). Overall, a good spot to grab some local beers and grub.

Yelp
Horrible! The worst customer service ever! Was lied to by a worker stating she was the owner and manger for the evening. Staff told us "oh the chefs don't speak English so they get everything wrong and don't understand the tickets " this truly disrespectful. Make your whole company look horrible. The food came out completely different times and when we still didn't receive what we order we requested for it to be removed instead they brought it to our table Even though half of our party already had to go boxes and ready to leave. Truly very disappointed with this experience and I will be writing the real owner on LinkedIn. I'm discussed how the staff spoke and treated us. I would not recommend spending any money here! Not worth it .
google avatar

Sierra C.

Yelp
The beer....the food...the dogs..... absolutely flawless. 10/10. The only reason I would recommend against coming here is because I want to save it all for myself. I highly recommend the caprese if you are a fan of transcending the human capacity to feel joy.
google avatar

Yelp
Five stars alone just for the Conundrum red ale. Big Killians fan (which you can find no where on tap) this was hands down the closest x very delicious. Pizza, always a good idea.

Greg D.

Yelp
This place should be avoided unless you like mediocre pizza and bad service. Right off the bat- it's important to acknowledge the reality of Aspen's food scene, where paying more money for less food is the norm. To me, that's fine, as long as the food (and service) I am paying for is GOOD. With all of that in mind- we walked in on a not-so-busy night only to stand around awkwardly for a few minutes until the bartender told us to seat ourselves. Our Caesar salad tasted like pure lemon (and nothing else), and our hawaiian pizza's pineapple slices were so large that they basically took up the entire pie. My wife's cocktail was also so strong she couldn't finish it (I know more booze in a cocktail isn't a deal-breaker for most, but still worth pointing out) Now we move onto the service- which was down there with a typical dive bar's level of quality. Our waiter clearly knew lots of people dining and drinking the night we were there, judging by the constant hugs he had for women around the dining room, and how frequently he visited some tables to seemingly just talk with guests. Again, all fine as long as we are getting served- however we found ourselves waiting and waiting at all points of the meal. The highest insult comes at the end of the meal and you get your bill. You realize that you could've had a pizza and a beer at the bar at the St Regis (and all of the impeccable service they provide) for the same price! The one saving grace about this place is the beer. Happy hour seemed to be a decent deal as well, as they advertised 10 dollars for a selection of their beers paired with a shot of either Whiskey or Tequila. Not a bad deal at all in this town! But drinking is really the only thing this place is good for- if you show up and have a flight of beers you'll probably be just fine. Just don't expect the food or the service to live up to nearly every establishment around it.

Yelp
Caprese pizza with a balsamic reduction, hunks of roasted garlic, fresh mozzarella, gobs of basil, pesto AND red sauce all nestled on a sourdough (probably a two-hundred year old starter from the owners Nonna) crust perfect wood-fired. Hello, my name is Brittane, bitch. Marry me. Thank you Aspen Brewing Company for introducing me to my soul pizza.

Yelp
Incredibly bad experience from the minute the host asked us if we wanted inside or outside and we replied, whichever. He gave us an attitude and when we decided outside he threw the menus onto the table and walked away. Not the right way to treat anyone. After this we ordered two beers and one of the beers they brought out was the incorrect one. We then ordered two pizzas that look remarkable in the pictures but they were undercooked and mediocre at best. Definitely staying away from this place from now on. Do not recommend it.
google avatar

Dawn C.

Yelp
On the corner across from City Hall, Gucci, Dior and next to Aspen Thrift shop sits this little gem. Aside from a tasty assortment of beers on tap they also offer a variety of wines and specialty drinks. Their menu is big enough to find something for everyone but not too large as to be overwhelming. They have spaced out tables inside and plenty of outdoor seating with overhead heaters. Immediately upon arrival they took our temps and seated us outside as we requested. The hostess and servers were friendly and attentive without being annoying. The food was delicious and fresh and the serving sizes were generous. We had two of the appetizers, soup, salad and pizza. All of these items were sized to feed people that have a hearty appetite so if you have spent the day skiing/boarding you will not leave here disappointed.
google avatar

Jasmine C.

Yelp
Ehhhh. I had higher hopes for this place. The vibes and energy is great, but the food, beer, and service was subpar. We waited 30 minutes, got a text that our table was ready, only to arrive three minutes later and find out our table was given to someone else. The pizza needed salt. We got the caprese and prosciutto& arugula pizza. Although the cheese was good, the flavor of the caprese pizza was wayyy off.

Yelp
Aspen is a pretty small town so I was delighted to find out that they have a brewery. Aspen Brewing Company is Aspen's only brewery, and their taproom is located in downtown. It a good place to enjoy some beer and pizza, watch a sports game, and chill with friends. The beers are okay. None of the beers stand out to me, but I recommend their blonde ale if you want something that is easy to drink. The pizzas, on the other hand, are really tasty. The sourdough crust is made in-house from scratch, and I recommend that you get the cheesy bread or a pizza. Dessert pizza is on the menu too, but I have not tried it yet. Aspen Tap Room is a good spot to hang out at as long as you have a lot of time and patience. The staff is chill, but the service can be extremely slow and apathetic. It sometimes takes what feels like forever to be acknowledged or to place an order. One time, my group finally got plates and silverware when we were almost finished with our pizza. Another time, I was flatly told no when I asked if I could order a flight. At the end of the day though, you can have a good time at Aspen Tap Room once you have a beer in one hand and a slice of pizza in the other hand.
google avatar

Susie S.

Yelp
The host was hustling and took care of everyone seated outside! She was taking orders, bussing tables and was really friendly! Great good, even better beer!
google avatar

Mary K.

Yelp
Pizza and beer! Both excellent I don't know what else to say the salads were also delicious. The blond waitress was great and even though we changed tables a few times because we were freezing out side she was very accommodating. We really enjoyed the food. Only suggestion please get your outdoor heaters fixed. Thank you!
google avatar

Ashley V.

Yelp
Okay beer. We ordered a flight and nothing that we ordered particularly stood out. I didn't expect much since we were in a tourist town anyway. I ended up ordering a full size seltzer and that was definitely the highlight of the visit. We also ordered cheesy bread and did not realize that we would be getting a large pizza's worth of cheesy bread. Like most cheesy bread, that was delicious.
google avatar

Hugh N.

Yelp
A fantastic spot ...for just a quick sip & munchies around the quaint town area, after the shopping-frenzy & in this lovely winter-weather...to find many locals are hangout after working hours. We stumbled on this, and we enjoyed it throughly - great options of beers and quick bites & super friendly services.
google avatar

Kendra H.

Yelp
Found them on Tik Tok haha and decided to check it out! Was not disappointed! AMAZING service and just as amazing food and beer! I enjoyed the meat and potato pizza... AMAZING! Our server mentioned it wasn't even the best one so we will surely head over there before the end of our trip to try another one. Ended up being one of our favorite spots we've been to during our trip thus far. Family and pet friendly!
google avatar

Rachael P.

Yelp
First thing we noticed was the friendly and helpful staff. Loved the outdoor patio, covered enough from the sun in most spots. The food was delicious, and had exactly what each of us needed. Pizza for the kids, salads for the adults, pretzel bites for everyone! Lovely, chill lunch totally hit the spot.
google avatar

Caroline O.

Yelp
The food and drink were retty good, but the service was absolutely terrible. From the very beginning, we were treated as an inconvenience. When we were initially being seated, it would have been next to a crowded table full of people we didn't know, so I had concerns. I requested for the two of us to instead be seated at a four person table and was scoffed at. When I casually explained that I was just more comfortable sitting at a less congested table, the person seating us again looked massively inconvenienced. It would have been totally fine if they had just told us that they couldn't accommodate us, but instead they chose to and then chose to remind us during every interaction that we weren't wanted. I get it, you lose revenue by not maxing out a table and letting 2 people occupy a 4 person spot. They should have just turned us away and it would have been fine. Would not recommend this place and will not be returning.
google avatar

Susie A.

Yelp
When we got into town the end of May this was one of the only restaurants open. It did the trick for these hungry tired travelers, but it didn't wow me. Sitting outside the view is great because, it's Aspen... The caprese pizza with balsamic glaze was needing a little salt. Strange to say, I know! But it was bland and that was my conclusion, hence the three stars. (FYI I am a pizza snob. You might love this place.)
google avatar

Le E.

Yelp
Early dinner while on vacation. Menu isn't extensive but ingredients were fresh and the flavor combinations were delicious. Th beers were cold. Service was prompt. WI all loved our pizza choices and had leftovers for the next day.
google avatar

Sammi M.

Yelp
I stopped in here for lunch time on a Monday afternoon after a long morning of hiking. There was plenty of seating outside and we were helped quickly by our waitress. We ordered a flight each and tried out their different options and shared with each other. They didn't have any stouts or porters on the menu (that I saw) bit did have an interesting mix of brown and red ales. A flight of 6 is about $21 and their pizzas were around $27. Overall a bit pricey but it's important to keep the area in mind. The beer was alright, fun options but pretty standard tasting. Our waitress was extremely nice and helpful. Also there wasn't any shade which was a bit surprisingly since there were pergolas which seemed like an easy thing to put shades on.
google avatar

Sherif I.

Yelp
Beer was good but a member of the waitstaff was quite rude and borderline racist. I made a joke about taking the glassware home DIRECTLY TO HIM as he was bussing the table. He gave me a pretty disgusted face. I tried to break the ice as he continued to clear the table but he was unamused. As man of color, this may have been one of the worst experiences.
google avatar

Grace C.

Yelp
Absolutely love this place. Super dog friendly, great drinks and Buffalo chicken dip. The servers are beyond friendly too. Loved finding a comfortable place in Aspen to hang out.
google avatar

Jason B.

Yelp
Great beer, service, and atmosphere. We also had cheesy bread which was great. Nothing negative to say here. Glad we ignored the 3.5 stars!
google avatar

Gabe A.

Yelp
Beer is way to warm to be brewing company and serving beer from tap. Suggest: having frozen mugs the beer would be so much better

Jayme T.

Yelp
Service was poor and pizza was undercooked. Honestly a frozen pizza from the grocery store would have been better. Disappointing considering the steep prices.
google avatar

Casey V.

Yelp
Amazing food and amazing staff. Would likely recommend. Nothing better than a giant delicious burger after snowboarding all day with no wait! Everyone was so kind and helpful with the menu. Sometimes you can't decide, these guys know all the good stuff. Thanks again fellas!

Jane W.

Yelp
I really like the food and beer, but WOW is the service bad here. Examples: The last time I went the bartender didn't look up or greet patrons when they sat at the bar. Didn't apologize for bumping you when he was putting down silverware and plates. Had a very loud conversation with a server over people's heads. The time before, we had to physically get up and ask the server for our check. He was sitting and chatting with someone visiting him at work. Someone needs to train the staff here. Badly.

Reese M.

Yelp
There's a reason this place averages 3.3. We waited 15 minutes for a flight while the place had 3 other tables occupied. Waitress served 3 other tables that came in after us, and was busy sitting at the bar while we had to go inside to pay our tab. Couple really nice workers, cool vibes, didn't have the food. Don't come here expecting greatness, you're not going to find it. Beer was mediocre, our flight and tab were out of order. Only reason they do well is because they're the only true brewery in town.
google avatar

Oliver L.

Yelp
Nothing to write home about but was your average decent smaller brewery. Bartender was extremely nice and friendly.
google avatar

Samantha M.

Yelp
Great drinks options, not the best menu for anyone with a dietary restriction. There were only two gluten free options that were both salads, but they were pretty good despite the limited options.
