One World Observatory Is Now Booking Private Dinners
"Located inside One World Observatory, the 9,000-square-foot private event space Aspire offers an entirely different, ultra-exclusive angle on the skyline: for a starting cost of $3,000 you and a guest can have the whole room—with floor-to-ceiling windows, an enormous single table centered in the space, and views of the city—for the night; the package includes a private escort, curated playlist, private culinary team and waitstaff, a bottle of Dom Pérignon, a pre-selected four-course meal with wine service, and décor such as red rose petals and pillar candles, and it’s clearly aimed at proposals, anniversaries and other milestone, often-romantic occasions. I had the privilege of experiencing a private dinner there with my boyfriend, during which we lingered over wine while watching the sunset; the room has historically hosted weddings, bar and bat mitzvahs and corporate events, and the offering can be customized for additional fees (up-lighting, extensive florals, string quartet, personal photographer, upgraded bar service, live singer/band, additional guests, private tour guide, etc.) handled by the events team. The private dining package launched this week and is booking through Labor Day (after which bookings will be made one month out)." - Amelia Schwartz
