I have mixed feelings after staying for a few days at Aspria hotel. I am a member of Aspria elsewhere and was curious to stay in Berlin. I could (more or less) enjoy the pool (it is difficult to find peaceful moments to swim - there are often aqua and children classes, and the rest of the few moments of the day the pool is divided in a way that there are just two swimming lanes, with not the fastest/more experienced swimmers often). I also did a few classes during my stay. The room was nice and clean. In general, I was satisfied with the room plus the option to continue doing sports while abroad. However, I had a bad start - already before coming to Berlin, the reply to emails is basically inexistent. Plus, upon arrival, my room was not ready at the checkin time, even though I had passed by three hours before to drop my bag and had stated I would come back at 15.00. I had to wait an extra half hour, and the receptionists seemed annoyed by the fact that I was. Plus, I do not see it necessary for me to repeat 3 times in a 5 minute conversation that I did not speak German. It’s a pity because there were also nice people working at the reception other days. Also, the girl in the spa reception was really nice and tried to reply to my questions whenever I had any.

I absolutely love Aspria Berlin Ku’damm! The club is always spotless, and you can really see how dedicated the team is to keeping everything clean and welcoming throughout the day. There’s such a wide variety of classes, from Hot Yoga to Bodypump, all led by professional and truly inspiring instructors. What I appreciate most is the atmosphere: from the reception to the spa, gym, and restaurant, everyone is so friendly and attentive. You always feel recognized and taken care of, even on a grey, rainy Berlin day. The club really has everything you could wish for — whether you want to work out, relax in the spa, or just enjoy a quiet coffee. It genuinely feels like a VIP experience from the moment you walk in. Also, the Kids Academy has improved a lot lately — the afternoon activities like football, crafts, and dance make every day exciting for the little ones. Highly recommended — a perfect balance of fitness, wellness, and relaxation in one place!

The gym is equipped with modern machines and offers an incredible variety of classes: yoga, functional training and others and you’ll never get bored! The instructors are motivating and highly skilled. Locker rooms are always clean, so I highly recommend the Club!

We had a wonderful stay at the Aspria Hotel in Berlin! The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the service was excellent. The spa was also fantastic. It was relaxing, well-maintained and a real highlight of our visit. A special mention to Daniela Tobal at the gym, she’s absolutely amazing! So friendly, full of positive energy, and truly lights up the room. She made every workout a joy and added such a great vibe to our stay. Will definitely come back next time I’m in Berlin 🌸

A wellness oasis in the heart of Berlin! Beautifully designed, spacious and perfectly organized facilities. I especially enjoyed the wellness area: sauna, pool and relaxation zones are truly soothing. The staff is professional and always helpful. Perfect place to unwind after a long day!

I absolutely loved my stay at Aspria. Beautiful rooms, a fantastic spa, and above all, the MOST amazing staff! I was a bit lost with my training, but Daniela from the fitness team noticed me and was an absolute star. So professional, full of energy, and took the time to guide me and explain everything with care. Breakfast was delicious, and Ahmad Ghazal in the restaurant provided exceptional service every day. A wonderful experience from start to finish, can’t wait to return!!!

Excellent service and exclusive. I was impressed by the warm welcome and attention to detail. The environment is elegant yet very comfortable. After a workout, having a drink at the bar is the perfect way to finish the day. A great place for anyone who enjoys taking care of themselves.

I had the pleasure to enjoy this fantastic Club last week, together with a friend who's member of the Ku'damm. I spent some lovely days in a wellness environment, with a huge variety of sports activities (we attended the gym and, then, a relaxing yoga lesson), followed by a relaxing sauna and a regenerating massage. Anything in the Club become more special thanks to the welcoming reception and the attention that the staff pays to every detail; moreover, although the good attendance, the Club is not overcrowded and is very clean. If I lived in Berlin, I would have no doubt about where to go to train and take care of myself!

Yelp
During a recent visit to Berlin, I tried Aspria Berlin Ku'damm for one week. I'm based in Los Angeles, where I normally work out at Orangetheory Fitness, which focuses on group-based cardio, strength, and interval training. With that in mind, I was mainly looking for facilities that supported active cardio workouts -- treadmill, rowing, and weights. Overall impression: Aspria Berlin Ku'damm is a premium fitness and wellness club in a prime location on Ku'damm. It features spacious training areas, modern equipment, and a wide variety of classes (yoga, cycling, HIIT). The highlights are a bright 25m indoor pool, an extensive spa and sauna area, and a rooftop terrace for relaxation. Families are well catered for with the Aspria Academy, family pool/sauna times, and there's also a restaurant, co-working spaces, and even a boutique hotel on-site. Areas for improvement: Climate in training rooms - This was my biggest issue. The workout rooms were uncomfortably warm, making high-impact cardio nearly impossible. Windows can only be opened by staff, and while portable AC units are placed at the entrances, they were rarely switched on. With outside temperatures around 80°F and direct sun through the windows, the rooms quickly overheated. When I asked a trainer for help with the AC or windows, I was told, "I am not responsible for that," which was disappointing. In situations like this, staff should take initiative rather than send clients searching for the right person. Thankfully, another trainer was more helpful, but this is definitely an area for improvement. Cleaning of equipment - I noticed very few members cleaned their machines after use. Spray and paper towels are available, but disinfectant wipes would be a more convenient solution. In addition, cleaning after use should be mandatory and supervised by staff. Phone use in training rooms - Several people were talking on their phones while using equipment, which was distracting. Clearer rules around phone use in training areas would help maintain a focused workout environment. Shower supplies - The body wash/soap in the showers was empty on multiple occasions. This should be checked and refilled daily. Summary: Aspria Berlin Ku'damm is a beautiful, well-equipped club with excellent facilities, but I believe attention to climate control, hygiene practices, staff responsiveness, and amenities maintenance would significantly enhance the member experience.

Yelp
When I joined Aspria Berlin Ku'damm, I was told clearly by staff that pausing my membership would be flexible -- "up to 6 months, no problem." In reality, it turned out pauses were only allowed with medical or work documentation, and even then came with paperwork and restrictions. Not at all the simple, easy process that was promised. I paid all fees (except a disputed €5) and tried to part ways on good terms -- even asked if they could waive just one final month as a gesture, given we live nearby and had plans to return or recommend to friends and family. Sadly, that was met with zero flexibility. Ironically, my family is visiting in December and originally wanted to stay at Aspria for a full week. But I told them not to -- and we'll go elsewhere. Aspria "won" one forced membership month but lost six nights of paid stay and future goodwill. That says a lot about how they treat "loyal" customers. Trust matters -- especially at this price point. Sharing this so others know what to expect.

Yelp
I do not recommend this so-called high-end Gym/Spa to anyone else other than the Nouveau Riche bling gang of a certain ethnic group prevalent in this city and country, whose utterly rude and unacceptable behaviours are well-documented and known amongst the locals and expats alike. Stay away if you consider yourself a cultured, respectable and refined person who expects a chill, relaxed atmosphere commensurate with the top-euro you pay for the membership in this place. Underneath the staged veil of exclusivity is a club open to all who's willing to shell out 140 a month, no question asked, no background checked. I've had some horrible experiences in the past month. Noone re-racks, first of all. The gym etiquette here is non-existent, but that's actually what bothers me the least. A few young male members of the aforementioned certain ethnic group are certainly not used to seeing foreigners of a complexion other than white or brown, and they like to stare, in a very coarse and unfriendly, if not downright aggressive manner. You'd think this is a refugee camp when you see eyes like this, not a fancy clubhouse of 'guests of esteem'. The first week I was in Aspria I saw 1 of them spitting on the floor of the weight room while lifting a pair of dumbbells, with no shame or whatsoever, and I immediately reported it to the management. Just yesterday, in the same workout area, I was heading into the bathroom where I bumped into the same young man, about to finish his business in front of the urinal, made a loud hulking sound followed by a dramatic spitting endeavour that resulted in having his nasty slime splashed across a large area of the wall behind the urinal. I took a picture of it as proof. All said, if you have a thick skin and are willing to ignore or suffer through all the rudeness and unfriendliness (from the guests not from the staff) associated with this place, they do have quite decent gym equipment and spa area.

Yelp
The problem with this gym for ex-pats is they only allow you to join for one year that was my experience and I think it's rude because if you're overseas for two or three months they make you sign a one year deal that you can get out of if you write a note to the office that you're leaving Berlin and get it signed by your employer which I find a bit absurd. There are many other options in Berlin that take people month by month. Until this spa and gym allows ex-pats to be on a month to month then I would definitely avoid this place.

Yelp
The Aspria Spa was a disappointment, poor customer service right from the start. I decided to visit the Aspria spa to evaluate its services. I booked a massage for a friend and one myself, as well as a pedicure. Sadly, we left without having any treatments performed. Problem #1: Upon arrival, there was no place to hang our jackets and bags or to undress and relax as we wait to be called (at least were not initially informed of such area.) Later, we were told that a lounge was available with the purchase of a day pass. This was not an option for us because we had no plans to spend the entire day there, nor were we interested in using the fitness area. 10 minutes later, we were approached by a masseuse (kind woman), who tells us the second masseuse was not there and that they had been trying to contact her for two days without success. Problem #2: I would think that the spa would have contacted me about the problem masseuse before I had traveled there. It didn't happen. Problem #3: The masseuse offered to perform both massages, one after the other; but one of us would either have to sit outside in the reception area or have a coffee at the cafe next door. Was there no coffee available in the hotel/spa/health club that could have been offered for our inconvenience? Problem #4: We should have been given complementary access to the lounge area for our troubles. So, we left Aspria Spa in shock over the experience and vowed never to return or send one person there for spa services. AVOID.
