Enjoy the spacious rustic atmosphere of the lounge area as it stops at the stairs (no lift). Our room was small and had an extra bed so movement was restricted. There were no glasses, cups, kettle, tea, coffee or conditioner and the internet was variable. We used the small balcony stool as a bedside table. No chairs,|At dinner the main course was tepid. At breakfast there was no juice, yoghurt, milk or bread rolls. First use of the antique coffee machine blew a fuse resulting in darkness.|Stay if you must.

Really a location you are aiming for and our single night visit did not provide insights into why this might be the case except for a pretty sea view. The room was adequate without excess space and staff seemed only moderately interested in the clientele.

The location is right in the center of Assos, provides a private pier for recreation and swimming. The restaurant serves food and drinks directly to the pier. The sea itself is great, welcoming and peaceful, also perfect for snorkeling. The personnel is friendly and their service is just right, not intrusive yet always present when you need them. The parking in Assos is challenging, however you can simply leave your car at the valet point. It will be parked to a dusty parking lot on the hill, a few minutes away. The hotel’s restaurant is a bit unorganized, cold drinks are fine but food is subpar. However there are many great restaurants in the small neighborhood. Overall, I got what I was hoping to get. A clean, well kept, friendly place right next to the beautiful sea of Assos.

Amazing place to actually live the Doric era, paying a visit to Athena temple is priceless. As all complaining about the investments, its good to have some places not turned into tourist attraction. Hotel was amazing with impressive buffet, even my extremely pick wife satisfied with it. Do not expect to raise sand castles here, it delivers true Aegean experience. It feels extremely amazing to walk on same soil where Aristotle wonder around. Do not forget to order / taste "Avcı Böreği", its name can be translated in English but not the taste not so much..

Stayed here several times and love it. It is a fantastic place right on water in the middle of a historic place. Food has been decent. Service has always been fine. Rooms are a bit small but have lots of character. The lobby and the food area indoors are charming. Outdoor restaurant is right on water. Pool might be good for kids but useless for me considering the sea is fantastic; clear, swimming with fishes (just grab some bread and dive in) but on the cold side for most people.

We loved absolutely everything but the drive in. Fortunately, the locals know we have no idea how to drive there and parked the car for us. The food was delish, the room plenty of space and the view was amazing.

I would give this hotel more than 5 stars if I could. I stayed here for 5 nights in June with my family. The top floor room has amazing views and a wrap around balcony. The staff was professional, courteous, and English speaking. The cleaning staff did an impeccable job. Everything was fresh and lovely. We booked with breakfast only, half board was available, but we wanted to try some other restaurants in the area. However, we ate most of our dinners here as the food was delicious and the serving staff top flight. It is the nearest I will come to life styles of the rich and famous. When we were there it was a fairly quiet period. The clear azure water was still sparkling though, so taking a dip was mandatory. Other reviewers might find something to complain about here, but really I don't want to ruin my beautiful memories of this place with a trivial criticism.

We stayed here one night with my son and daughter-in-law who is Turkish. On the positive side, we enjoyed being in a hotel directly on the water. The stone building is impressive and the decor in the rooms and eating areas is very attractive. Since it was the end of the season, there were not too many guests. The typical breakfast was plentiful, fresh and very good. After breakfast we sunned on the deck and jumped off the deck into the sea - a real treat.||Some of the odd experiences:|After we moved into our rooms, we went up to the town for a meal. Upon our return, we were unable to get into our room as the card key lock was somehow nonfunctional. A staff member could not even open the door with a masterbkey and ultimately had to go through another room, walk across the roof of the deck and enter our room through the window in order to open the door from the inside! Luckily, there was another room free, in fact a bigger one. So we collected our things moved into the other room directly.||This room had two bathrooms. Nice, right? Hmm not so... In the first bathroom the toilet absolutely refused to flush no matter what we tried. The only option was to pour water down the toilet. I decided to take a shower in the other bathroom, which at least had a functioning toilet. That was fun...the shower head popped of the hose and squirted water all over the place. I tried to screw it back on, but the threading was broken and it was impossible. I fail to understand how the cleaning staff could have missed this problem.||Finally, I have to say that the bed and pillow were unfortunately very hard.
