This is a seafood only restaurant. However, it is outstanding and really worth a visit. The staff were very helpful with our selection of menu. We started with sashimi for my guest and tuna tartare for me, followed by a salted sea bass cooked to perfection. The sommelier heĺped us to choose a wine off the extensive Italian wine list to match the chosen dishes. While not our selection on the night, we saw an amazing fish tasting starter and lobster main beautifully presented by attentive but not overbearing staff. This restaurant is a foodie's heaven!

If price is not an issue, then it's a great dining experience. Seafood is fresh and we had amazing baked fish and raw seafood platter. Wine selection is also great and the service lived up to expectations. It does need to fix the toilet, maybe it just broke during our time there.

Lots of raw seafood serving choices. Nice interior decor. Attitude waiter that we felt akward to continue for dessert which normally we do. Seeing from what we had is not that little ordered. Anyway price is also extremely high compare to the quality.

I loved the pasta, best I have had in Rome.

All dishes were rich in flavor. If you like rich seafood flavor, this is the one. The raw seafood platter was not worth the price “€60”. To enter you will pass through The fish display with no barriers , so if stayed for a couple of minutes, absolutely you will smell like a fish. We are 5 pax our order were 1 appetizer “raw platter” + 4 dishes + 2 desserts + 4 privileges + 3 espresso … €250

Yelp
Terrible. Bait and switch. Ordered 600g scorpion fish for $78. Got a pasta dish (which tasted good) but almost zero fish. Like no fillet, tiny bits of fish. My wife ordered seafood risotto that had 3 small shrimp. Zero calamari, zero mussels zero langostine as promised. When I called them out they took both off the bill. We had ordered at 130 Euto bottle of Lombardia Chardonnay. Not sure what they are thinking. Would happily pay for what we actually ordered. Way better options. Stay away!

Yelp
My husband and I went here for dinner last night which was recommended to us by our hotel Conciege as we were wanting some sea food. His recommendation was on point. I got the fish of the day, which was a very meaty white fish that was cooked to perfection and was cooked in a tomato sauce which had cherry tomatoes, olives, and what seemed like a butter wine sauce, which was absolutely delicious! We also got the roasted vegetables which were also quite tasty. Although this play was a little pricey I would highly recommend it!

Yelp
I have to be honest this was supposed to be highly recommended and unfortunately is the catch of the day OUCH they have a big problem - staff - no respect screaming at the top of their lungs in the restaurant three times I counted silverware falling on the floor They just kept bashing plates and throwing silverware around as they just didn't give a F you star K about their customers food??so I will be honest they seems like a Bear in a Lake they just have great Supplier. Whoever is supplying them their food is amazing the fish look great. But for me that's where it ends. It's a JOKE. Just wandering around ignoring customers that obviously need their assistance what the hell throwing around silverware... going for 15 over minutes without silverware for the food??? WTF! Crazy absolutely crazy shouting screaming dropping things throwing silverware around ALL NIGHT LONG? MADHOUSE. To add insult to injury and there's chill vibe music going on in the background like you had a Mexican Riviera seaside resort. Do yourself a favor. Skip this experience. I got no side plate. No silverware. No dice. Overpriced. Under delivered. waste of time and money it's obviously a shame that such amazing produce is getting wasted with such a disturbing staff and kitchen. The food was undercooked twice both dishes I ordered! It seems as though they pride themselves in raw seafood maybe that's because they don't know how to cook it probably chefs that come straight to the culinary school could do better!

Yelp
My first meal after arriving in Rome was here and i was starving when i got there. Service really went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. The food was good but very expensive. My favorite was the fritto misto. It's a romantic place and good food, but at a cost.

Yelp
Best restaurant in Rome. Best fish , best pasta , best gnocchi . the food is to die for . The ice cream we had was out of this world . This restaurant deserve more than five stars . Can't wait to eat there on our next trip to Rome.

Yelp
I would give the food 4 stars but unfortunately I would give the staff and service and staff 2 stars. Only Italians here get preferential treatment. Notice that most of the 5 star reviews are only from Italians. Most Italians do not realize that tourism accounts for 12% of the nations jobs, and do not respect our business. We were seated next to the door in freezing weather even though there were many tables available in the warmer part of the restaurant. We asked to be re-seated but where denied. Our waiter was obviously annoyed with us. And overall it made my whole party uncomfortable: The food was great but.....the food is great everywhere in Italy.

Yelp
A-MAZ-ING!!!!!! When I say this is the best meal I ever had in my life I truly mean it. When you walk in you see all the catch of the day and the freshness of all the seafood that you are about to eat. To start off my girlfriend and I ordered a bottle of wine, a Barolo to be exact, unfortunately they didn't have that one BUT Juliano, who is the best host there is, said he had something as a replacement and would be the same price. He came back with a MAGNUM of wine. A Barolo Riserva from 2004!!! Can you say out of this world!!! HELL YEA!!! We started off with tuna tartar and a shrimp scampi carpaccio. Both starters were amazing!!! The tuna tartar was perfectly made with just enough fat and firm texture on top of some polenta. The carpaccio was cut paper thin and the creamy texture just melted in your mouth!!! So delicious!!! Then we got the appetizer of raw seafood for two, and OMG was that a lot!!! Fresh oysters, shrimps, and prawns. Everything was so fresh and so flavorful all you needed was a couple drops of lemon juice!!! The oysters were perfectly brinery and salty. The shrimps were perfectly tender and buttery, and the prawns were just awesomeness!!! You can tell everything was caught that morning. We then settled on the cooked appetizer tasting menu. There were six dishes in total, so many that I can't even remember!!! Juliano said we would love this tasting platter and oh we did. He was spot on with everything and we could taste the freshness and the flavor that was cooked. We ended with some pasta trofie with sea bass and lemon. A great refreshing way to end the meal. The pasta was perfectly cooked and the sea bass added the perfect amount of fat and texture, as well as the acid and brightness of the lemon just refreshed your mouth!!! Such an amazing time and honestly the best meal ever!!! Will be coming back!!!

Yelp
We had dinner here for our first night in Rome and we loved it. We spent the past few days in Florence and had the most delicious meals there. But I must say the dinner we had here is one of the best meals we have had thus far. I ordered the trofie pasta with sea bass and lemon - such a clean dish - the pasta was chewy and filled with flavor. My husband ordered the gnocchetti with red shrimp - a flavor explosion and an indescribable sweet & savory taste. For our main we ordered the clams -simply perfection. Dessert- try the ice cream in the walnut and chestnut -it's divine. The service was great! We didn't have the problems some of the other reviewers noted. The servers tried their best to welcome us and ensure we had a nice evening. We don't really have issues with menus being in Italian completely (personally I tend to shy away from restaurants with menus that include English because I want to eat where the locals do) but for those who are concerned, it seems the restaurant has updated their menus to include English. Tip: if you're at a loss - get recommendations from the waiters. There's a seafood chowder we wish we could have tried but you must pre-order that a day in advance. My only gripe is that the wine we had was 8€ a glass. Very over priced. The food is a bit pricey too but it's good quality seafood. We skipped the raw stuff because we didn't want to risk getting sick while traveling - but oh how I wish we could have tried it! Certainly worth a stop here!

Yelp
All italian menu (I know its like the italians complaining about an all english menu in NYC), the waiters spoke little to no english , and the place gets cramped and the tables are rather small. The service takes slow to a whole new meaning, and I had a feeling if you spoke italian then it might have been faster. You bill might be more than what you expected since the menu is not clear on the prices, ... All of those complaints aside the food is good. Its the freshest sea food in Rome, but with service as abysmal as it was - I'd pass up on this, but to each their own. Maybe they will try improve the service a bit , and not treat you like trash if you are not some italian glitterati

Yelp
I used to live right around the corner and for many years I would go once a week. It is definitely one of the best sea food restaurants in Italy. From shrimp carpaccio to the dessert e tugging is amazing and a lot of choice of wonderful wines!! I am a fan of this restaurant!!

Yelp
Had a great Saturday night dinner. Seafood risotto was amazing. The sea bass was cooked to perfection and the potatoes to go with were very delicious. Overall it was a great experience. The ice cream inside the walnut was an excellent finish.

Yelp
Worst meal in Rome, and the most expensive. The fish was not fresh, and one member of our party got sick after this meal. The waiter was extremely pushy, not telling us about the food, not asking our preferences, just grandiosely stating that he'd bring us their wonderful food. Yet not one single dish surpassed mediocrity. There are so many better places to eat in Rome. Skip this one.

Yelp
Early dinner. First night in Rome for my wife and me. Waiter was great and recognized our cluelessness and selected our food for us. We had 5 dishes and the wine was great. Do not come here if you are on a budget. Our food was delicious and the atmosphere was good but it wasn't cheap!

Yelp
the best sea food restaurant in ROME

Wakki E.

Yelp
Good (but not great) seafood. Hopping dining scene (think high heels-mini skirt and shirt-jacket). Nice atmosphere. Service level is mediocre at best (waiter nowhere to find when you need him, long waits for main course or for simple things like water, not pacing appetizers well, no attention paid to table setting after each course, horrible recommendation by sommelier on wine and he was pushy). Most expensive meal in Rome and definitely not worth the price. You eat much better at Marea in New York, with better service. And by the way, wine list is not very good - i expect to know the vintage for every bottle listed, especially when most are priced €200+. Go for the hype, or to impress, not for anything else.

Yelp
Yes go there - food, ambiance, service all very good - Roman-style seafood at its best - yes it is pricey but guess what?? quality costs - and how ironic that prior reviewer says "food is great" and then gives 2 stars bec he wants fluent Engl sp servers and faster service - good Italian food takes time to prepare - if you are in a hurry to eat or don't want Italian menus or Italian speaking wait staff then don't go to Rome {I thought their English was fine,,,}

Yelp
Love the owners and the freshest seafood- ask for the homemade pasta with lemon- delicious
