At the entrance, you’ll see a display of “fresh” seafood. Before ordering lobster, I strongly recommend you take a very close look and check it by yourself. The raw starters were delicious and my girlfriend’s seafood risotto was excellent. However, my lobster experience was very disappointing.
The restaurant staff selects and weighs the lobster without involving the guest. I was served a lobster costing €98 and it was unfortunately bad. The lobster claws, which should contain the best meat, were undercooked. A foul watery smell came out and the meat was mushy and tasted spoiled. The butter sauce was bland and there was very little edible meat. For such a high price, this was unacceptable.
On our way out, I noticed the lobsters in the tank looked half-dead and barely moved. The water was murky and didn’t look well-maintained. My side dish, which was supposed to be broccoletti, turned out to be just spinach.
Despite this, my girlfriend enjoyed her risotto, which is why I’m giving a generous 2 stars. A cocktail we ordered was forgotten and still appeared on the bill, but mistakes like that can happen.
The air conditioning could also be better. We felt it was too warm inside and not properly climatized. It was 33 degrees outside during the day and in the evening it actually felt cooler outside than inside the restaurant.
If you plan to order lobster here, be very cautious and ask to see the process. Otherwise, I would not recommend it.
