Astarte is perfect. Came on my honeymoon and it was magical. The service is exceptional. The views are amazing. And it is tucked away on a nice, quiet area while still having easy access to the busier areas for shopping. I highly recommend this place, especially in the May weather.

My husband and I just spent 5 amazing nights at this stunning resort. The rooms are spacious, decorated beautifully and the jacuzzi was a lovely touch. The views from this hotel are breathtaking, looks like a picture. Above all of this, the service is top tier. Everyone is very friendly, can’t do enough to make sure your stay is perfect. Special shout out to George and Cory for everything. This place should be on everyone’s bucket list, we can’t say enough good things!

Just stayed here this week. And what can I say. It’s a stunning location away from The noise of main areas. And it’s clean and well Kept. Nothing was an issue for the team. And they were very polite and responsive. One of the best hotels I have stayed at! Would definitely go again if I was in Santorini.

Where do I even begin?|We were SO impressed with this place! |From the very beginning when I was biking the suite the communication via email was punctual and superb!|We arrived to find a wonderful boutique resort (13 suites) situated along the Caldera (volcanic rim) with a stunning view of the Aegean Sea and the volcano. George and Kostas (owners) split shifts and both are such wonderful hosts: so warm and welcoming, giving us excellent tips about local sites and activities, and arranging things for us like tours and transportation. The suite was fabulous (indoor jacuzzi; outdoor infinity pool). Breakfast every morning brought to our terrace. For my birthday (birthday package) they laid roses on the bed, made a cake, brought champagne and balloons and a lighted sign, and LIT FIREWORKS we could see from our patio!|They are located in Akrotiri, the quiet side of the island. Easy to get to Fira and Oia (touristy villages).|I could go on and on but if you come to Santorini you as a couple you MUST stay at Astarte Suites!|Thank you George and Kostas for making my birthday trip so special and memorable.

I don’t even know where to begin. This is by far one of the best accommodations that I’ve ever had the opportunity to stay in on the planet. I have been to Santorini more than six times and this was one of the most unique experiences by far. This property sits right on the edge of the Caldera, and it is extremely private, there are no other hotels our properties in the surrounding areas, which means that you don’t have to worry about anybody overlooking your balcony and invading your privacy. Here the staff make you feel at home from the moment you arrive as you agreed with a beautiful champagne, welcome, and a fruit platter. The property itself has 13 unique rooms and we actually stayed in one of their private honeymoon suite with a jacuzzi inside. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the Jacuzzi was just perfect, I woke up every morning by sitting inside of the Jacuzzi overlooking the Caldera. Breakfast was also amazing! Each morning they bring breakfast to your own private Terrace which makes it very intimate and gives you incredible views of the coastline. The breakfast is à la carte and each evening they provide you with a sheet of paper that you have to fill out with everything that you want for breakfast: they have Greek style eggs, eggs, eggs, Benedict, Greek yogurt, fresh fruits, and nuts, coffee, fresh, orange juice, and of course, a wide selection of coffees. They also have an amazing in room dining menu that you can order from pretty much throughout the day, but I recommend having a private dinner with a sunset view. They only have three tables each night available and I definitely recommend making a reservation at the moment you arrive. This was one of the most special evenings that we had, the food was incredible. I definitely recommend the ribeye steak and the moussaka Now, if you’re worried about the steps getting down to the property, don’t worry the staff handles all of your luggage and they make sure to take it down when you’re checking in and of course, bringing it to your room and before check out, they will also bring it back up the steps for you. They also do offer a transfer service that I highly recommend where they pick you up from the ferry terminal and the airport, they can also pick you up from another accommodation if you happen to be staying somewhere else prior to your visit here. Overall, the experience was amazing and I absolutely recommend this hotel to everybody especially if you want to support a local family ran business

I recently stayed at Astarte suites in October and unfortunately cannot recommend this hotel. Although the room and food was great, there are many such hotels in Santorini. Staff was unkind and overall just very rude. We rented a car through their service and on the second day noticed a sign light up on the dashboard. I asked Castros if he by any chance knew what that sign meant or if it was anything to worry about and received a very rude answer “I was not there so how would I know? Probably just the brakes are locked. Don’t ask me such questions” This is not how I would expect staff to treat guests at a 5 star hotel. Never did we ask for help with the car or for him to come take a look. But just to receive such an impolite and discourteous response over a small question was completely uncalled for. We received similar rude remarks over the course of our stay anytime we asked for anything at all. We paid a lot of money to be treated this way when we were in no way a bother to anyone. Please don’t keep this hotel open in October if staff has already checked out for the season and is going to be unkind and discourteous to guests.

Loved our stay! George, Costas, Stratos, Vlad, Irene, Chef Giorgos Berkakis and crew were all so warm and welcoming. Quiet surroundings, clean & lovely rooms, beautiful view, and delicious food for breakfast on our balcony. Loved the food for lunch and dinner at the Alali Restaurant on the premises. It was well presented and full of flavor and creativity. On one evening, I had scallops, tortellini, and pistachio cake. On the 2nd evening we dined at the restaurant, I had scallops, the salt crusted red snapper, and pistachio cake. All very yummy! Thank you Stratos for a wonderful table side presentation and attentiveness. Chef, thank you for an elegant and extremely tasty dinner. Vlad, thank you for your kindness and knowledge of our meals. Irene, thank you for wonderful cocktails and for always coming through with a photo shoot ‘emergency’. George and Costas, thank you for being such gracious and kind hosts. We truly had a fantastic and relaxing experience on Santorini. Bless all of you and hope to see you again!

We had the most wonderful evening drinks tonight at Astarte Suites. This place is a hidden gem! The evening was made perfect by Irini who made the most fantastic cocktails as well as looking after us and keeping us entertained with easy conversation through her bubbly personality. |We felt extremely welcomed and valued and nothing seemed to be too much trouble. |This place is well worth a visit, not only are the views spectacular, the place is beautiful and the staff are lovely! |5 stars from us! ***** Becky and Emma
