Aston Maui Hill Resort

We had the absolute best time on our trip to Maui, and loved our stay at Aston Maui Hill! The property grounds are beautiful, and so well kept. There are lawn games and a beautiful pool for the family to enjoy. Our unit was spacious and clean. It had everything we could possibly need. The outdoor patio was huge and we enjoyed several meals outside while we were there. And the view from our patio was unbeatable! It was also within walking distance to a few different beaches, and a short drive to restaurants, shopping, and more beaches. My family loved staying here and mentioned several times throughout the trip how much they loved this hotel.

Had a great stay at Aston Maui Hill. This was the perfect alternative to being in a large highrise resort. Our unit was in a group of 4 and we never heard any noise, neighbors, nothing. The unit was spacious, very comfortable, and everyday cleaning service was nice. Staff was great, but since we never had an issue of any kind, our only interaction was checking in and out.

Very nice from the moment you drive in! Staff is very kind and knowledgeable. We had to move from a different resort due problems with the number of people we had versus number of beds. Aston Maui Hill Resort was very accommodating and the rooms and resort even better than we expected. Very clean and well kept. The view is beautiful!! The location makes it easy to get to where you’re going.

While I was impressed with the location and size of the unit, I was disappointed by the lack of attention to the cleaning of the kitchen and dusty blinds. This place could really use an update. No bathroom fan in the primary bathroom and no window to open. Walls had outdated pictures with areas that looked like it had pictures taken down but no replacements. Washer and dryer were old and super small and only let you wash 1/3 load. All in all not bad with size of rooms and easy access to beaches and shopping. I liked that they supplied beach chairs and umbrella.

Great location - walking distance to great beach. The unit had everything you may need for family vacation - fully stuffed kitchen, beach gears - umbrellas, chairs, snorkelling gears, kids sand play toys. ||Management was super nice - they moved us to a different unit per our request with no issues, there was a huge fruit basket waiting for us at the arrival, and shell necklaces for all of us to wear were a really nice touch.||The unit was spacious and clean, with great views. The furniture in the living room and bedrooms was update and carpet smelled new and fresh.||Definitely recommend!

It is an older resort and parts of it have been well-maintained. Pros,large living room, nice comfortable furniture, Convenient having two bathrooms, comfortable bed. Con. Soap scum on the countertops in both bathrooms and in the shower, dishwasher racks, rusted and old. Pool needs to be updated.

Good location with a 5 minute drive to Wailea's main shopping center and restaurants as well as to nice beaches. Poor customer service at the front desk both before our stay as well as during our stay. I had to repeatedly call to get things taken care of. ****We found four cockroaches and two geckos in our room during our stay incuding in the bedroom which scared us to sleep and walk to the bathroom in the dark.

I can’t say enough good things about Aston Maui Hill resort. When I checked in, I didn’t know what to expect, and the condo could certainly use a little updating. But as you settled in, the details matter. The place was impeccably, kept, they provided towels, and, shampoo and soap, which was unexpected. The place is very quiet, nice vegetation. Even though we booked a garden room, you could still see the ocean in the distance from some parts of the balcony. I thought that was pretty cool. The pool not brand new is a very nice size for the resort. It seems very easy to get chairs. Pretty much anytime of day. Oh, and the location! It is easy access to the restaurants in Kihei, yet very close to plenty of public beaches towards Wailea. We missed the Friday afternoon my Thai party, it sounded like it was a lot of fun. Again, this place sweats the small stuff. I even got a thank you note sent to our home. I’m hoping to return to Hawaii again in December. This place is at the top of my list!
