Absolutely amazing location and a great price. My kids love being across the street from the beach. The beds were okay and the room was a bit dated, but that's also what makes a cozy little hotel. I hope this hotel stays for many years as it's nice to have something in Waikiki on the beach that doesn't feel like giant corporate America. The staff was fantastic.

Google
This hotel boasts two notable advantages: its location and staff. The view is breathtaking, and the beach is merely a 30-second walk away. I was fortunate enough to secure a room with an ocean view facing the front, which was absolutely stunning. The staff is exceptionally courteous and friendly, and I never encountered any issues during my check-in or check-out processes. However, the room itself falls short of expectations. While the photograph provided a misleading impression of its size, the room is indeed quite small. The maneuverability is challenging, and I found myself bumping into things frequently. The bathroom is equally small. The lobby is a small, unassuming room that does not resemble a traditional lobby. The elevators and the lobby itself appear outdated. Overall, the hotel has a promising start and a desirable location, but as a hotel itself, it falls short in terms of room quality and amenities. The shared microwave is inadequate.

Google
The location is by far the biggest plus; right across the street from the beach and a short walk away from a lot of prime dining and shopping areas. Room is small but has everything you need plus a balcony with an ocean view. Pretty short on most amenities although they do provide free beach equipment for people to borrow. The building itself is a bit quaint and older but seems pretty well maintained.

Google
Great location with great views of Waikiki beach. Older hotel but clean and maintained. Eggs and Things restaurant downstairs (10% discount). Friendly helpful staff. Parking lot is always full. Towels available for beach. A/C units are older and not as cool as it could be. Overall a great experience.

Google
Perfect location in the heart of Waikiki. Amazing ocean view and a beach just across the street. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are not so big but well equipped and functional. We stayed in this hotel several times before and we will definitely be back.

We had the ocean-front room, and the view was great! There are many restaurants around, and the shopping strip is near. The staff was helpful in storing our luggage before and after our stay. The property is older, and space a little tight for 2 queens, however, the hospitality more than makes up for it. There's a mini fridge and a Keurig machine. Comfortable stay.

Google
This boutique hotel was a great find...it has very cute decor and beautiful views of the ocean and Waikiki (we got an Ocean Front room, but it seems the Ocean View rooms on the sides would have a pretty good view of the ocean too, just not the full panorama). If you don't want full sun most of the day though, ask for a room on the side facing downtown.||||No need for a pool when the ocean is right across the street! Beach not as crowded as down towards the larger hotels. They have floaties etc. you can borrow. Can walk to downtown shops, attractions & restaurants. We didn't have a car, seems like the lot was sometimes full so could be a problem if you have a car, but everything you need is within walking distance.||||They also had free Hula shows on the stage right across the street in the mornings when we were there.||||AC can be noisy when watching TV, but not the end of the world.||||Would definitely return!

Google
They took care of me so well! The moment I showed up the front desk made it their responsibility to tell me about what I might be interested in. We had conversation about solo travel. They even helped me extend my stay and provided provide an upgrade for $10 more a day! I had the most amazing views! This is the hotel I plan on visiting every time I come to Honolulu. There was a particular employee at the front desk that took care of me but for the life of me I can't remember his name but I will remember how he made me feel. I always felt appreciated and like a special customer.

Yelp
This inexpensive (for Waikiki) hotel has one of the best locations in Waikiki. Rooms are small (250sf) but this is typical for many of the competitors. No pool which is clearly disclosed but there is a huge salt water "pool" across the street. DAILY housekeeping! Minifridge with no icebox, Keurig coffee maker (be sure the basket is seated properly). The wifi in our room was fine, able to watch YouTube video on phone. Room safe was a little dodgy (found all numbers wouldn't punch) ,test your combo. TV worked fine. After 3 weeks on saggy cruise beds I had 2 nights of good sleep on firm double bed with 4 pillows. Linens, carpet and towels were clean. NO mold or dust. I have allergies and they did not act up. Water pressure and temp control fine. Elevator a little slow in the morning. The desk chair upholstery was worn on the corners and there were some minor paint bubbles. Wall A/C units may need replacing soon, noisy when fan set on low. It did maintain temp and had clean filter. No drips. They hold luggage in the office which is staffed 24/7. The small lobby has filtered water, DVD rental. An often overlooked perk is admission to the Bishop museum using your room key (read websites people!!) My main tip if you care about noise is to book a high floor partial ocean view which gets an epic view from the balcony (ask to face the Espacio side). The balcony doors are double paned and with triple plantation shutters that worked well to block light and noise. Perfect for those who want a reasonable place to sleep.

Yelp
Great customer service and perfect location! Booked in advance for a great price! Ocean view room on the beach for under $200. Room was simple but had everything you would need for a beach getaway. I will definitely check prices there again for a few days in Waikiki!

Yelp
Cock a doodle doo! You ever wanted a rooster every morning to wake you up? Well heres your chance. Theres a nearby rooster down on the street that makes noise all morning. theres - no hotel lobby - no business work space area - no gym - no pool - and the elevator broke (great for walking up/down 7 floors with a baby stroller) What else... - door seeps in light from hallways at night - door is about 2 feet from elevator so you always hear people - hotel shares space with 'EGGs and Things' restaurant so its super crowded every morning. - wall paint is chipping and old - flashing white light at ceiling from the fire alarm (terrible for sleeping) - carpet is damp - AC unit is super loud and nasally. it also drips water - beds are rock hard and pillows are ultra flat - pee stain on bedsheet - shower water is strangely super cold or super hot - lots of street noise (but this is okay because its in the heart of Waikiki and at a great central location) - rooms are very small, so its hard to get thru door with strollers, luggage and other things - probably also suffers from the oval design of the rooms due to the circular shape of the building At this price point, its all for the location but we were so dreading the nights because the beds were so uncomfortable. Instead of relaxation, we came home with aching pain in our back, neck and shoulders. This place is in dire needs of updated beds, paint, carpeting and plumbing.

Dana M.

Yelp
This location can't be beat. The rooms are small, but for the easy access to the beach and the fun amenities they provide for the price I think it's definitely worth it. There's free filtered water in the lobby along with free movie rentals that's perfect for nights when kids are just too tired. They have paddle boards, floaties and sand toys you can borrow on beach days too. We stayed in an ocean view which was quite beautiful to sit and people watch from. Big plus is eggs n things is downstairs so you can grab breakfast and enjoy up in your room. Definitely would stay again.

Yelp
I booked this hotel president weekend. When i first arrived i was told my room was upgraded to a ocean view, no charge. So i was stoked! Parking was $45 a night. When i first entered the room, it was tiny. Especially for the price i paid. My room was about $300+. My bathroom had used hand soap in the holder. That was already red flag. I noticed my sliding door had no curtain as seen in pic. I had to hand the blanket. There was absolutely no privacy. I was on the 3rd floor which is right above the eggs and things restaurant And closer to the road. The outside noise was so loud and there was some drunk man screaming for a good 1-2 hours. I am very annoyed and wonder what you could do to fix this situation....

Jane D.

Yelp
I absolutely loved this hotel. Low key and less expensive compared to bigger names in the area, but didn't take away at all from the basics I need-- a balcony, ocean view and fresh air. The view from our room was perfect and the staff were all so nice. As a book lover, I liked that they have a mini library in the lobby. I was already reading a book on Kindle and I finished it one lazy afternoon at the beach, and then didn't have time for more. However, I love the concept. They also give you one plastic water bottle per person, with the name of the hotel on it. To me, that's way better than the famous Stanley because it comes with memories and adventure. They have water-filling station in the lobby, next to the library. There was only one time I was less than happy when a guy in the reception in the morning told me there is a limit of sugar I can have per day, when I asked for extra sugar for my coffee. It hit me the wrong way because a hotel that's charging over $300 a night can afford the sugar. What did he think I was going to do with the sugar, sell it for profit? Lol. My dude, I actually consume that much sugar per coffee. Luckily the good experiences greatly overshadowed this small bad moment. John and Steve were always great and they never said anything when I asked for extra sugar.

Yelp
my experienced would have been better except for the front desk at 11:30pm today 01/26/25. i asked for a favor if i could just atleast my friend could park at their parking space atleast 1hr. but he insisted he cannot. so everyone is very nice and i love this place the whole 4days and 3 nights stay until this happened?! for a only small favor that front desk made me put 1 star on this hotel!

Jessica P.

Yelp
Location is prime! Just steps from Waikiki Beach. Friendly and helpful staff. They showed us room options before we paid for an offered upgrade. Room was on the small side, but it was clean and had a beautiful view. On site parking lot in the basement was small, but as long as there are places when you arrive, you can prepay for your stay and you'll be guaranteed a spot as there is a lever gate with a remote they give you to ensure parking is for hotel guests only. We would definitely stay here again!!

Reggie S.

Yelp
Not the fanciest hotel in Waikiki..but this establishment is one of the best bang for you buck and has one of the best ocean views of the beach. It's right smack in the middle of the city so everything is walking distance. Across the street from Duke's statue. ABC store just downstairs off the building, and an Egg n Things breakfast place (that's always packed) just off the front desk. The rooms are small, but clean, updated, and adequate...it has a fridge, coffee maker, but no microwave. We didn't really mind because we spend our time outside enjoying Oahu anyway. What this hotel makes up for and definitely makes it worth it is the perfect ocean view you'll get (if you get the ocean front rooms). Parking can be troublesome if you have a rental car because it is very limited, although they have additional parking that's about 2 blocks away from a sister company. We lucked out and got parking in the building. The host, Shawn, is one of the nicest you'll meet. Very hospitable and very helpful. The staff are all very nice as well. They have a wall with pictures and history of the hotel by the front desk...I recommend you read (or at least browse through it). It gives you an appreciation of the hotel and its owner. Overall I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Michelle S.

Yelp
Small room but location is super convenient. Loved waking up early and be able to walk across the street to the beach. Convenient as it is right next to a McDonalds and ABC Store. The rooms can definitely be modernize overall, very enjoyable.

Ellen C.

Yelp
I'd recommend this hotel if you're looking to be close to the beach with minimal walking. It's a no frills type of place that has all the essentials - beach towels, water station to refill your water bottle, clean beds, shampoo/conditioner/soap in your shower. Don't expect a luxurious welcome or amenities. The Keurig in our room didn't work but that's ok. We enjoyed staying here as we were out most of the day and we're just looking for a place to sleep. Price is good. Can't complain even if the rooms are smaller and the air conditioning is loud. Overall a great bang for your buck. The front desk is outside and next to the elevators. Small hotel (that is more like a motel type establishment) with a breakfast restaurant right next to the front desk. Their sister property is Waikiki Banyan and they offer 24 hour parking for $30. Short walk back to this hotel from the parking lot.

Raq U.

Yelp
Parking lot is underground & small ($43 USD) each day. Sheets, pillows and rooms are comfy. A/C is older but works great and use it as white noise for sleep. Location is directly across from Waikiki beach and safe. Steven who works overnight front desk is the man!! Great price for a convenient spot!

Chanel M.

Yelp
I've stayed here a couple times over the years but most recently this past weekend. The hotel is a little older but the views definitely do not disappoint and the location is excellent. The staff have always been nice and attentive but parking can be a challenge. Definitely recommend!

Yelp
This was the 2nd of our two hotels in Waikiki during our 1 week stay. Hotel #1 (outrigger beachcomber) for its convenience to food & shopping; hotel #2 (Waikiki Circle) strictly for its beach front location. Its an older hotel that offers little in luxuries & comforts but more than made up for it by its prime locale. We pre-booked the most expensive ocean front room 2 months in advance, but at the check in the gentleman wanted to put us on 4th floor which will only have a tree top view of Waikiki. He offered to put us on upper floor if we pony up extra $25 per night. Why am I always the victim of unscrupulous practices? sigh.... Anyways we decided to pay and was upgrade to 12th floor. There was also a resort fee ($25 + 1.18 + 2.56, daily). For a small hotel without any gym, pool or other facilities I don't think that was justified. The moment we entered the room we knew it was prob worth the $25/night ransom. From the entrance alone we already had an unobstructed view of the blue Pacific. Perched from the balcony the view was even more stunning: to the south stood the imposing Diamond Head, to the north the iconic Moana Surfrider hotel, Kalakaua ave (Waikiki main strip) was right beneath us. Right in-front of our hotel is the Waikiki beach & Duke's statue, literally a Brady to Gronk TD throw away. Everyday we sat on the balcony and listened to the sounds of the sea, watching surfers riding the waves Sunset was magnificent as we faced almost directly toward the West, even in the morning and during the day the sight and sounds were fabulous. Even if they charged us $50 extra per day we would have gladly oblige, will even throw in our pet dwarf hamster Sophia on top. The room was dated and had that 1970's vibe: old decor, small bathroom, tiny shower with lukewarm water & anemic pressure. On the positive side it has a Keurig maker and most importantly a safety box. The queen beds were comfy, pillow were not overly fluffy but adequate . They were low profiles so more ideal for my bad back. Daily newspaper was delivered to the door, beach towels are avail upon request, ice machine down stairs but no water station. There is no lobby, 1 gentleman in the booth next to the elevators handles all transactions & interactions. They are probably the descendants of Mrs Kwock the original founder. Next door there is McDonald , egg & things is affiliated with hotel but guests enjoy 10% discount by showing hotel card. If you venture 1 block to the east you will find a hidden gem called "Mac", it has no line & far superior food. We ate most of the time in places further up North near our hotel #1, around Inter Market & Royal Hawaiian Center. Overall we had a pleasant stay & would def consider returning for its prime beach front location.

Yelp
Location is everything with a hotel and this one couldn't really be all that much better. Being right in Waikiki and across from the beach, you'll save a ton of time getting around. We ended up on the top floor (14th) with a partial Oceanview for a $10/nt upcharge. It was worth every penny. The rooms are nothing spectacular, but the linens are clean and the room opens up to the beauty of Waikiki. I didn't notice until the second day, but the lanai glass doors open up further than your typical doors which make for a spectacular view and tons of fresh air. Other great amenities include filtered water available in the outdoor "lobby", as well as pool floaties and other water toys for guest use. You'll also wanna run down to an ABC Store to pick up some bevies to stock up the in-room mini fridge. The shower would have to be the biggest pain point. It is tiny. I am not a big person, but it was near possible to contort my body enough to get water on all parts of the body with how small the space is. To make up for it, there is some really nice smelling Hawaiian Tropics shampoo, conditioner, soap, and body lotion. Parking is extremely limited. You'll want to park at the Aston Waikiki Banyan or find other alternatives. This is the second Aston we've stayed at and both have met our needs for a stay in Waikiki. You can pay more and get more, but this place is a steal at the current rates.

Kaitlyn R.

Yelp
I'll give this place two stars because the location was excellent and the staff was very kind, however, I definitely wouldn't recommend staying here. The beds and pillows were awful and uncomfortable, the room run down looking, and the $30 per day amenities fee was very annoying because I don't see in what world a couple of k-cups per day is worth $30. I would've overlooked all of that though if there hadn't been mold in the room. I was coughing and sneezing every night that I was there, then I noticed mold in the air conditioning unit and in the shower head. I won't stay here again.

Rebecca F.

Yelp
I absolutely loved my stay at the Aston Waikiki circle hotel. We had an ocean front room and the view was absolutely amazing. I loved sitting on the lanai and people watch. In fact, my partner proposed to me on the lanai while watching the sunset. This hotel will always have a special place in my heart now. The rooms are quite small but it was big enough for just us two. Clean and great location. Right across from the beach and walking distance to everything. You can also get beach towels from the front desk. There's also a tasty breakfast restaurant downstairs. Would come back here in a heartbeat. Best value for your buck.

Brian O.

Yelp
Fantastic rooms. Brilliantly efficient in size and design. Perfection. Clean too. But not the hallways, hall floors or elevators. Time for a painting and severe hall floor cleaning. Other than that the staff is awesome!!!

Johann S.

Yelp
Sometimes you get used to being greeted by dozens of employees when you arrive at a resort; but very few times we've had just one-employee greet us, carrying the flag of his hotel with such honor and courtesy. His name is Shawn, he is the person that made the difference in our stay, he took care of us so genuinely, just simply wanting us to have the best experience in this very small but unique hotel in the middle of Waikiki Beach. This hotel might be small in size but it's big at heart!!! It was a pleasure staying here for a few days with such great host; the owner of this hotel should be very happy to have you in his team, I am sure the owner must be a great guy to deserve such outstanding employee. All the best for you Shawn, thank you very much for your hospitality and for upgrading our room!

Eva G.

Yelp
Perfect 1 night stay! Came to Waikiki to visit our son and decided last minute to get a room and stay on/near the beach. Room was clean and the partial city view was picturesque! Included in the stay is Tropicana Shampoo, Conditioner, and body wash in the cute shower...so leave those travel sized ones behind! Only one minor negative...no pool...BUT...the beach is across the street!

Eugene J.

Yelp
Lobby staff extremely friendly and helpful. Room is EXACTLY what family of 4 required, quick access to the beach and sites. Shower is small yet we'll get you clean!

Rose P.

Yelp
An amazing hotel that is beachfront and has great staff. Has a restaurant eggs and things downstairs an ABC store and McDonald's next door

Sarah T.

Yelp
You can't get a better price for an oceanfront view in Waikiki. We paid for an oceanfront room and upgraded to a higher floor for $25/night and felt totally justified. The view was beautiful. The hotel room itself was small but comfortable for two people. There was a really nice sliding screen in front of the balcony that was much more fun than curtains. The room was clean and the A/C worked! That's all I ask for, honestly. The amenities are lacking; k-cups and a fridge, some shampoo/conditioner that is slightly better than putting nothing in your hair (bring your own), a PS3 that I don't have time to play because I'm in Hawaii on vacation. I did appreciate the beach towels available at the front desk- very nice to have. You might also be able to borrow a float if they have some lying around. There's also filtered water available at the bottom floor. We wanted to use the 10% off at Eggs n Things but the two hour wait every morning was prohibitive. Don't expect to eat there during covid. I would certainly stay here again.

Moises L.

Yelp
Awesome staff .super friendly..clean hotel ..literally in front of beach 2 minutes walk..the night and day crew..are great..wish I got there names!but ..super cool guys .. the room was nice and clean .. better than I thought..balcony was nice touch..

Rumi M.

Yelp
This hotel is a little outdated and doesn't have a swimming pool but the rooms are clean and hotel staffs are very friendly and helpful. The beach is only a few steps away and you can use their boards. If you stay at deluxe Ocean front room, it's above the 4th floor and it has spectacular views. I will definitely stay here again.

Koichi B.

Yelp
My wife and I stayed at this hotel for two nights and we absolutely loved it. I knew about this hotel before but I didn't realize that this hotel was so amazing! Shawn, the room division manager at the hotel, was very friendly and fun to talk with. He suggested an upgrade to a higher floor ocean front room and we were absolutely stunned with the view. This is an old hotel but they keep the room clean and neat and most of all, it's central location and the fact that the beach is right in front of the hotel and just a steps away makes this hotel an excellent choice. The world famous Egg and Things restaurant is located on the first floor by the lobby as well, making for a great spot to grab food. We cannot recommend this hotel enough!!

Gregg R.

Yelp
We stayed here last year before our Hawaii cruise and were very pleased with this hotel. We have always stayed at a more expensive hotel across the street; however, this is our new favorite. The hotel as in the name, is in a circle. So you have the choice of a oceanfront, ocean view, partial ocean view and a city view. Go for the oceanfront. You will get exactly the same view as the hotel across the street at about half of the price. There is a small balcony with a few chairs and a small table to enjoy the sunsets with your drink that you got from the ABC store which is right next to the hotel. The rooms are clean, and simple. Not luxury property if that's what you are looking for. But with the money we saved, we just walked right over to those luxury properties to dine and shop and used the savings we got from this hotel to pay for it. Staff is very friendly, and attentive. And if you need them to hold your bags before check-in or hold then before your flight out, just let them know and they will be happy to accommodate!

Sonya E.

Yelp
You get what you pay for, folks. I flew out to Oahu for a change in scenery. Working from home full time has its challenges. In preparing for my trip, I didn't want any overly extravagant accommodations because I had plans on spending most of my time outdoors and bonding with nature. Anyway, I found a deal on one of the third party hotel websites and while I thought it was a steal -- it helped me put into perspective why nightly rates were so attractive. * poor and very, very slow WiFi. And, I mean sloooow. Not ideal if you want to get any work done in the evenings. * service --specifically, the front desk staff was horrible. I mean, attitude and the whole works. Long story. * room was so small that it didn't feel comfortable at all. It felt like I was staying in a hotel for business and not for leisure. Even walking from end to end of the room felt small, tight, and too closed in. I would not recommend for those who are claustrophobic. * ocean view was more like a half-ocean view because the hotel has rooms that run in a circular motion. * parking was a whomping $28 per day. I know other hotels on the strip have higher nightly parking fees but for the nature of this property, I would say it was too overpriced. * no room service, no on-site bar, no pool. * super outdated AC unit (boxed type attached to the wall). The vent was leaking water or some form of liquid during my entire stay. * bathroom and shower space was super tight. Too tight. * everything was super outdated. Bedding, furniture, everything! If you're looking for a budget friendly hotel and don't mind not having the amenities and perks of a leisure hotel stay then this place is a safe bet. But, again -- you get what you pay for. I'm headed to Oahu again very soon and this hotel is way out of the question for me.

Anastasia S.

Yelp
I highly recommend this hotel! We have stayed here twice and it is really great! They have some really sweet views from the rooms and it is in a nice central location on Waikiki! Shawn at the front desk was the absolute best! He was a pleasure to talk to and offered the best customer service and hospitality. I would wave to him as I left the hotel everyday. Apart from this, they have the eggs and things restaurant right at the hotel which is a POPULAR breakfast spot. We ordered takeout from this spot and it was so good! I had a breakfast burrito, my fiancé had a breakfast plate which looked amazing, and we also shared some macadamia nut french toast. It's worth a visit for sure!

Ki T.

Yelp
Stayed here for two nights to celebrate my birthday, the photos of the view on the website influenced my decision to come here with a couple of friends. It's an old hotel and the room had a loud box a/c that sprayed small drops of water onto the lanai outside (we thought it was raining but it was just the a/c) , the room floor was dirty & made our feet black, which bothered me a lot. The bathroom is very small but has what you need. Hotel room provides a mini fridge, coffee maker, closet & towels (you can request more at the front desk). The only upside to this hotel is that the view is amazing! It's right in front of the beach (we had the Ocean Front hotel room) & we could see people walking across the street/sidewalks. I didn't mind the chatter & noise. I also liked to watch the surfers all the way out at sea. In general, I personally feel like we paid more than what was given. The price wasn't worth it & I honestly wouldn't come here again.

Michelle L.

Yelp
Affordable with very little accommodations. Parking is slim to none and sister hotel - Banyan ran out of space as well. Rooms are very small and not so comfortable. Location is awesome! Beach is literally across the street. Hotel provides towels and floaters for the beach. No pool onsite. Many food options in the surrounding area. Plenty shopping as well. Cleaning staff and some front desk staff are really sweet and nice!

Sharine N.

Yelp
Fantastic location! It's right across the street from the beach. Both McDonald's and ABC store are right next door. So convenient. The rooms are a bit small, but we were fine with that. The convenience of the location more than made up for that. We had a partial ocean view room which allowed us to see the ocean only if we were out on it balcony. Beautiful. We were lucky enough to be on the 14th floor. It was a bit loud and windy, so if that bothers you I would recommend asking for a lower floor. There is a parking charge per night, however there is limited parking. I was glad I did not rent a car because the lot was full! Just something to keep in mind.

Rachel T.

Yelp
We love Jon at the door he took excellent care of us even though we started out being the complaining Karen's we ended up being wonderful and grateful attendees of this hotel.

Jerry M.

Yelp
Aston Circle Hotel is great. they have million dollar views from the ocean deluxe rooms. the staff was great, steve and shawn and all the others were so helpful and nice. Directly across from beach with easy access and great breakfast place in the outside lobby. You won't find a better place for the price.

Donna T.

Yelp
The best 1 minute walk to Waikiki Beach ever-- Aston Waikiki Circle Hotel is literally across from Kuhio Beach and in the best location! It's a few blocks from the hustle bustle of downtown Waikiki but next to the famous Kuhio Beach Hula Mound/Tree and ocean with the most gorgeous view. It is a pricey stay and we upgraded to ocean view for the extra $30/night. But well-worth it! It's attached to Eggs 'n Things and next to McDonald's. Pros: + Oceanview oceanview oceanview + Nice concierge/tour help, scored a good deal on Polynesian Culture Center + Able to use hotel towels and beach floaties, etc. + Friendly staff + Solid fast WIFI + Newspaper daily, coffee, mini-fridge, safe available + Eggs 'n Things Discount 10% off the regular menu, 20% off from 6 p.m. - 10 p.m + A/C Cons: - Double bed rooms are kind of small - Restroom is also small, standing shower, only 1 person can be in the restroom at a time - No lounge or dining area, no complimentary breakfast, etc. - $25/daily amenities fees - Old ratty A/C

Mark B.

Yelp
Need a place to stay the night after attending a Ball at the Hyatt Regency. Found the Waikiki Circle through Expedia. Right on! (Positives): + Location. Right across world famous Waikiki Beach. Short walk to the international marketplace & zoo. + The view. They have me a partial Ocean View room on the 6th floor. South swells are in. Watched surfers ride waves while drinking my morning coffee. + Room/Cleanliness. for being an older Waikiki hotel the Circle was pretty clean. Their staff does a good job maintaining the facility. + Customer service. Great! The guys behind the front desk got me checked in and on my way. Discussed the parking info and room keys. Too easy. +Eggs & Things is right next to the check in desk. Opens at 6am. Awesome pancakes and omelettes. So so- (no big deal, Can improve or hope to): - AC Is the old school box one. Can be noisy. - Parking. Really tight! Right below the hotel. From the check in parking lot to lower level parking lot it's a tight U-turn. Don't hit any pedestrians. - Small hotel so not many in resort perks- pool, spa, restaurant, etc... Overall A Great stay! I'd come back for another weekend.

Yelp
This is an affordable option in Waikiki in a great location. The lobby is an outdoor lobby. I was glad I didn't rent a car because the parking lot was full. Paid a little extra for an ocean view upgrade. Definitely worth it. Although I would not stay lower than the 5th floor. We were in room 504 and it met our needs. Staff at front desk was very nice. Room was clean. Beds were comfy. We did not use housekeeping. Shower is small. So if you are large and tall you might not like it. We are average sized people and the shower was tight. (5'4" 130lbs) There is no pool, which was fine because the beach is right across the street. Within walking distance of shops and Duke's market. Duke statue is right across the street. Overall this was a perfect stay for our first time in Waikiki Beach.

Yelp
Staff is very friendly and attentive, attentive being the key word here. They will help accommodate any of your requests, we had an issue with our room reservation and they moved quickly to make the necessary changes. Nice pool 3ft to 5ft deep on the 4th floor with a hot tub, bbq area, pool table on the opposite end, gym and lounge area. View is amazing if facing the beach specially for morning breakfast or sunset from the balcony. Front gate by McDonalds closes at 9pm, there is a shower head a few feet from the entrance to wash yourself off after leaving the beach.

Yelp
If you're considering booking this hotel, read on..... Overall, great great stay! The location of this hotel cannot be beat. It's right in the heart of Waikiki and within walking distance to just about everything. We were even able to walk to Diamond Head (took about 45 mins) and Rainbow Cafe. Also walked to Ala Moana but that was a long walk- would recommend Uber for that one! The hotel doesn't have common amenities like a pool, spa, etc. but you really don't need those when you are a 2 minute walk to the beach. We opted for the partial ocean front room and still had amazing views! Just ask for the Diamond Head side of the building because the Waikiki side has construction and not sure when that will be done. The room is a bit small for an American hotel room, but plenty sufficient especially since every room has a balcony. The rooms all have good sized mini fridge which was great for snacks we brought with us and for leftovers from all the delicious restaurants nearby. There is also a Keurig for single cups of coffee which was really convenient to make in the morning and enjoy on the balcony. Rooms also have a safe and plenty of closet and under bed storage for luggage. Rooms were clean and you get the daily paper delivered each morning. The hotel does give out beach towels so you don't need to bring or buy them. They also have surf board locked storage and beach toys you can take across the street to the beach as long as you return them. This includes boogie boards, blow up rafts and tubes. Saved us some money by not having to buy them. They also have a good rinse station right before going up to your room too. Check out time is noon, but they have luggage storage if you have later flights. They made it so easy to just drop off bags and then come get them later when you need to. You will also get 10% off at Eggs N Things downstairs which you'll find yourself enjoying! Really good food there even though it doesn't looks like much! There is an ABC store right next door too for anything you could need (we stopped there every morning and night just for bottles of water) and is so convenient. Ok, so this place is all positive so far... but here's the reason for only 4 stars. The beds. They're not great and you can tell they're old. The spot right next to the nightstand on both were like dead spots and you can tell that's where everyone plops to sit. It was a good thing there were only 2 of us so we could sleep in separate beds on the good side of each!

Yelp
Excellent service!!! Hands down best experience staying in Waikiki!!! To all the staff mahalo for making my baby's girls stay the best anyone could ask for! We had a blast! And will be staying at this property from now on every time we come to Oahu. Mahalo!!!

Yelp
I did not appreciate that they did not disclose they were doing construction on the floors above us, 10th and 11th floor. When I called to complain immediately upon entering our new room he said it was temporary. Two other employees were nice enough to tell us the truth and said it was ongoing all day for months. They offered us another room by the electrical systems humming machines but at least it seemed to be a white noise. The view is nice partial ocean view but we wil have to move our entire luggage again. We may just book at a different hotel that is honest.

Yelp
Visited Waikiki twice 15-20 yrs. ago. Remembered the round hotel further down towards Diamond Head that looked cool. Now that we live on Big Island we got great residential rates especially during Covid. It did not disappoint, yes it's an older hotel and rooms small BUT location location view view!!!! It has 13 floors, we asked for highest but 6th was still awesome. Perks: nice size lanai w/chairs/side table, INCREDIBLE beachfront view, ABC store next door one side and McDonald's on other! "Eggs and Things" restaurant in hotel, very popular breakfast joint and we realize why! Our eggs Benedict were so delicious, 10% hotel discount. Hotel room very quiet, maybe due to Covid but elevator outside our door and never heard anything. Staff helpful. Only slight Cons: Room is tight but not troublesome. Shower only, small as in barely one decent size person, need to go to front desk to get ice, no central ice machine currently, no vending but ABC convenience store steps away. If wanting restaurants/good shopping it's just 7-15 min. walk depending. No real complaints, would absolutely stay at this hotel again based on view/location alone for price now anyway.

Yelp
Small hotel right across the street from Waikiki beach. Nice (smaller) room, but very clean. Very friendly staff! Kevin and Shawn at the front desk were awesome! Eggs and things restaurant on the bottom floor of the hotel, plenty of shops and restaurants in walking distance too.

Yelp
So in all fairness this is not the most glamorous hotel. But it is beachfront and it is very reasonably priced. We got our rooms at an excellent rate and the rooms were very clean and equipped with a nice TV and a refrigerator. Parking is an underground structure and you pay an additional fee to park your car there. There is a very good breakfast diner right next to the lobby that always has a large group of people waiting for a table. But you know how it goes....good restaurants you usually have to wait a little bit.

Yelp
I am not sure why this hotel doesn't have more stars, as it is better than most I've stayed at. It is a 'no frills' hotel, however, it is across from the beach and in a great walkable location. Cute amenities like DVD rentals and a toy fish in your room. The hotel is very clean, but is older. Being that I am picky with hotels, I would stay here again my next Hawaii trip. The workers checking us in were always very pleasant. There is some noise from the street but that's to be expected on the 'strip' of downtown Waikiki. Not the hotels fault.

Yelp
This is an update to my original review. After staying here for a week, every other interaction with any staff or another hotel guest before and after the incident was extremely pleasant. I realized that I can't let one person with a bad attitude change the rest of the good energy that the staff puts out for their guests. Thank you to all the staff that put the effort into making this stay great. Mahalo! ------------------------ If I could leave zero stars I would. Was on my 3rd day of a 7 day stay at this hotel. This hotel does not have anything to offer like the other hotels in the area. But I was willing to do deal with that for the location. What I'm not willing to deal with, is an aggressive front desk person calling me at 5:43am to move my car, him yelling at me on the phone saying they've been calling me all night and no answer, which was a lie because I was here in the room the entire time, no call to my cell either. I told the guy I'd come down but to give me a second since it's 5am, he said sure. In less than 10 mins the aggressive front desk guy, maybe named Gilly, called me again yelling at me to move my car. I told him I was literally walking out the door and to calm down, I'm moving my car. When the elevator doors opened on the 1st floor, the aggressive front desk person was in the driveway, yelling at me from across the lobby, there are literally 20 people waiting to get breakfast, he yells, "is that you? Is that you?", while pointing at me, everyone then stares at me. It was super embarrassing and uncomfortable. I didn't say a word, I walked over to him, and told him he's going to have to calm down and watch his tone when speaking to me. This seemed to piss him off more, and he become even more rude to me. I had to tell him to calm the f*** down, and asked for the manager since he doesn't know how to talk to a customer. He says no manager on duty, hence why he thought he could act unprofessional and rude to me. Manager arrives at 7am and I will definitely be speaking to that person. I no longer can sleep after the double calls at 5:43am then 5:49am. Yes, I accidentally double parked, I have a huge suv, and the larger spaces were already taken, and my suv is larger than the space I was in. There was no where else to park. I paid almost $50 a day to park here. The Sheraton is only $35 and don't have to worry about my car not fitting in a spot nor rudeness. This whole expletive with Willy or whatever his name is, has really pissed me off. I can't even get back to sleep now. There is a way to talk to a person with respect, especially a customer. But this front desk guy decided he was going to treat me like someone off the street. Talking to me like he wanted to fight. Instead of treating me like a high paying customer that I am. And I definitely let Willy know that by putting him in his place. Beware here. Not a good vibe at all. No Aloha spirit. I will never be back to this hotel just because if the rudeness. Kind of ruined it for me.

Yelp
I chose this hotel because it was a great location and when I booked it, it was $170/night. This does NOT include the $20/day amenity fee and $22 for parking. Checking in: If you have a car, pull up onto the left ramp to check in first. Then they will give you a ticket to put on your dash and a remote for the underground parking. There is limited parking and if you don't get one, there is a sister hotel you can park at down the street. During my stay here, there was a filming production at Eggs N Things so we couldn't use our 10% off coupon. They hand out beach towels for free and you're welcome to use the inner tubes and boogie boards free of charge. Room: We had the partial ocean view room. The view was beautiful however the room is a bit dated. We were placed in a handicap room. Upon entering, there was a strong smell of cleaning products. I had to leave the sliding glass door wide open for a couple hours to air out the room. It's a bit dark - I feel they could use some brighter lights in the room There's a safe, mini fridge and shampoo and lotion. Bed was a little to soft for our liking. Air conditioning is a little old so it's loud but it does the job. Overall, this is an okay hotel. I would think with the price and the added $20 amenity fee, there would be a hot tub or swimming pool.

Yelp
What a great location. Beach front hotel. Cross the street, jump and hug the ocean. Aloha! Waikiki! All staff is really nice and polite. Hotel provide some beach gears too. Ok, here is some cons., Room is quite small, but I'm fine with that. the shower head in the bathroom is the Biggest problem, it is killing me, there is no water pressure, low flow. Which you might need longer time to clean up yourself. FYI. No free parking here. Most hotel donot provided free parking for guest.

Yelp
We stayed at the Aston Waikiki Circle Hotel for 4 days in February for a business trip. We had to book at last minute so prices were high but the Aston was still fairly reasonable. The entrance is up a hill with a small parking & turn around at the top where you can check in. The underground parking had few parking spaces was appreciated because parking in Waikiki Beach area is almost non-existent. **Driving is absolutely crazy with tons of traffic so we don't recommend it-& we drive LA freeways!** The hotel is right across the street from the beach. Some rooms have a view of the beach but since we were here for business, we were an end room & mid-level (10th floor )that but had a view from one end of the balcony which was amazing. You had to use your hotel key to go up in the elevator so it was very quiet and safe. We loved the small pod coffee pot so you could have a cup of tea or coffee at any time. The refrigerator was great too so you could keep drinks cold. Though a small microwave would be nice to heat snacks, etc. All the rooms had two double beds which was kinda weird but worked well enough-Maybe that's why there were so many families. There was an Eggs & Things restaurant at street level and an ABC store next to that which was handy. There were also very good restaurants that were in walking distance. There is an activities office next to hotel registration to help you with the many things you can do here. We walked across the beach when we had a few minutes to walk on the sand or wade in the water. There was a breakwater that made cut the waves a bit making it nice even though the waves were high. Also, there was a free torch lightening ceremony & hula show at sunset all along the beach starting at the Duke Kamehameha statue that was absolutely beautiful. Be there about 30 early to get a seat on the wall or grass. The sunset with the ceremony is such a beautiful end to your day. The best part of our stay was the staff who were wonderful! They were always so happy to share information to all our many questions. We would stay here again!
