Came here to see Blue Man Group and so glad I read the reviews before I came!
The theater is small, and while calling the seats "torture devices" is hyperbole, they are definitely small, but not any smaller than you would find at any other independent theater. If you see the show with a 6'4 construction worker like I did, you may find them having to do some creative leg work to fit into the seat, that's just how it is. I will say if you sit too far back towards the wall you miss seeing the band towards the upper part of the stage. It's not a very big deal, they're wearing neon while they play their instruments, but it matters to some.
The theater is cold as others have mentioned, I didn't bother taking my coat off (where would I put it anyway?) and was never hot.
Go to the bathroom BEFORE the show. And don't come late. Seriously, just don't do it. Everyone will hate you if you get up during the show because the other people in the row have no choice but to stand to let you out. And if you come late the performers very loudly call attention to you with spot lights and music! Take that latecomers!
Pay attention to the music in the bathroom while you're there, I couldn't help but smirk. There is a concession stand with standard snacks, Junior Mints were displayed, a large bottle of water was $4. There are souvenirs available (shirts, pens, books) for fairly reasonable prices. Humor is completely family friendly.
