Astoria Hotel

I stayed here for about three months. All the hotel staff were very professional and helpful. I would like to thank them again. Keep in mind that this is a boutique hotel. Don't expect the same level of service as you would find at a Hilton or Radisson. If I ever go back to Ukraine, I will definitely stay here again.

I stayed here in 2022 on my way to the East for some Russian international relationships lessons 😉 Having stayed in some of the best hotels around the planet I feel qualified to confidently say that the Astoria is, in my humble opinion, the best Hotel experience currently available in the World, from the moment you work through the door you can tell the place is something special. In 2022 there was a unbelievably, super cute little lady at the reception desk and walking back in on August 2024 I was so please to see she was still working there, I want to say her name was Olga or sounds something like that but God dam she's so fricking cute I could eat her! But this is about the hotel not my crush. Our room was on the top floor, 7th, as you can see from my photos and video it is big with amazing panoramic views of the city, the dinning and breakfast is first class with a wide variety of foods to sample perfectly arranged. The room service was excellent, we ordered a bottle of champagne and it took 10 minutes to arrive which I thought was strange, turns out the girl got stuck in the lift, she arrived full of apologise but no need, she was lovely. The beds in all the rooms as luxurious and you can FEEL the quality of the cotton sheets. I will be returning even if it is just to ask Olga to marry me. 🇬🇧❤️🇺🇦😀

They arranged a photographer for us, they sent a car to pick me up at the airport, they have a service so you can schedule to have a bubble bath waiting hot and ready when you return to your room. The bar and restaurant were amazing.

We had driven through the night to cross from Poland and get to Lviv in time for breakfast. The wonderful staff let us eat then grab a couple of hours sleep. In the evening we had a very relaxed time at the bar. Lovely place. I will be back.

Friendly staff! Comfortable room - even a heated toilet seat. Delicious breakfasts with a good selection to choose from. Have their own bomb shelter. Close to the Opera House and the Old Town with lots of attractions. Will definitely return.

Astoria is a very beautifull building in a good location. For the price You get a lot. Some of the rooms are actually huge. Breakfast is excellent. Only con is bad soundproofing. Walls and especially windows let a lot of noice through. All in all Astoria is good experience for the money.

I had the most pleasant stay at the Astoria. The staff were extremely helpful and so polite. I was arriving by train at 11pm and they were very prompt to arrange a pick up for me. Booked me a taxi for my return trip as well. ||||The hotel is right in the heart of the city and a few minutes walk to all the main sights in Lviv. I didn’t need to use public transportation at all during my stay. ||||The room on the fifth floor was comfortable and cozy. I was glad to have a balcony which made stepping out for a smoke easier. The beds were comfortable and the large windows added a lot of space and light to the room. The bathroom was large with an automated toilet which brought back memories of a trip to Japan. There really is nothing like a warm toilet seat to greet you in the morning!! There was also a bathtub which was nice and deep. The water was hot and the pressure was great! Housekeeping did a great job at keeping the place tidy. The only thing missing in the room was a kettle which would have made life a little easier in the mornings. ||||The breakfast was a la carte and was absolutely delicious. The other meals were equally exquisite. (I tried the Bruschetta with Roast Beef and the Deer Fillet) ||||Overall, I would really recommend this place to anyone looking for good value and great location.
