We had a great stay at this hotel as a family! The service was excellent, with very friendly and helpful staff. The hotel itself is in good condition and well maintained. The breakfast buffet offered a large selection with everything you could wish for to start the day. The pool area was clean, spacious, and perfect for relaxing. The beach and sea in front of the hotel aren’t ideal for swimming, but there’s a small boat trip to a nearby sandbank included, which is a wonderful alternative. There’s also a free day trip to another beach, which we really enjoyed. Other tours are available for an extra charge. I recommend the trip to Port Barton, it’s absolutely worth it. Families will love the water park next door. It’s a lot of fun, and once a week hotel guests get free entry. I absolutely enjoyed the spa! Overall, a very good hotel with great service and nice options for both relaxation and activities.

Was here from July 14 to July 16 with my mom for 3D2N vacation. Overall, the experience was great, amazing and memorable. The 8-hectare property is worth for strolling and relaxing. The staffs are all great. The rooms are well designed and I like the fact that they have a mini-kitchen wirh microwave and ref. They provided us with plates and utensils too in case you would want to purchase from their mini-mart. They provide carts if you want to stroll around. The place is serene. They offer breakfast, lunch and dinner buffet. Their water park was really enjoyable.

We had a very nice stay at Astoria Palawan. We were pleasantly surprised with a villa upgrade, which made our trip even better. The resort is incredibly kid-friendly and senior-friendly, with plenty of activities for families—we were just a couple, but still really enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere and amenities. The only downsides were a slight delay during check-in and the spa being fully booked during our stay, so we weren’t able to get a massage (and there’s no in-room massage option). Also, there are no nearby restaurants outside the hotel, but the breakfast and dinner buffet at the resort were both really good and had a nice variety. Just note that the location is quite far from town—about a 1-hour drive—so it’s best suited for travelers who want to stay in and enjoy the resort itself. I’d recommend staying at least 2 nights to make the most of everything they offer. Overall, a relaxing and well-rounded experience!

Spent a couple of amazing days here with friends and family. The staff was very service-oriented and friendly. Rooms were clean and the resort was very well-maintained. Breakfast buffet contained all you could wish for and the quality of the food exceeded my expectations. The waterpark was a blast!

June 2025~ Everything was great, the service, the place, the people, except for the food. Shared airport transfer P500 per pax each way. Check in was pretty smooth. Greeted with warm smiles and a cute necklace for souvenir. They also served a little snack while you wait. The guide explained rules and whatnots while presenting the map of the whole place. Our room is located at Alcove. Excellent room, more like a condo than a hotel - equipped with cooking and dining tools, microwave, electric kettle and a full size two-door refrigerator. Fantastic android tv with lots of channels and streaming apps. I just hate the bathroom wall. They use frosted glass instead of a regular concrete wall. It's still obvious from outside when someone is fully clothed or not. Being a 5-star hotel, I was looking forward with their food. Menu is very limited and taste is good, but not extra yum. So disappointing. We dined at The Reserve & at The Habitat. - Artisanal Pizza is definitely not thin crust and more like store brought crust, tho big in size. - Breakfast buffet is complete with the basics, breads, bacon, cereals, salads, drinks, fruits. I didnt expect to see adobo and pork steak for entrees. Very delicious for me was the Cassava cake, that's it. We didn't get to try the Dinner buffet but we were there and I could tell the food is better. - I really liked the Steamed fish with supreme sauce at The Habitat - Bread and cake from the Cafe were good for their price. We took home Bibingcute & Ube cheese pandesal for pasalubong. The map looks intimidating but it's actually walkable. You could also hitch a free ride on their shuttle that roams around the place. Beach was on red flag, no swimming allowed due to box jellyfish season. We also availed the shared Underground River tour from them - P2800 per pax. It was gloomy the whole day, raining since morning but the tour push through. Thank you to Ms. April, our beautiful guide. She was fun and detailed. We had 1-day access to the Waterpark. Though it's small compared to Aqua Planet, we still enjoyed it. Also, dont forget to reserve their Free Sandbar tour - it's a must visit! White sand and clear waters just 30 minute boat ride away.

The ultimate spot for rest and play. From a fully equipped gym, mini golf, PlayStation, table tennis, billiards, to card games—there’s no shortage of fun. Want to unwind? Head to their spa or get a relaxing massage. The rooms are clean and spacious, the staff are warm and always smiling, and you’ve got both beach and pool access to complete the escape. Add in some delicious buffet breakfast, and you’ve found a place where everything you need comes together perfectly.

Our family had a fantastic time at Astoria Palawan! The staff were well-groomed and very accommodating. The food was delicious, the pool and waterpark were clean and fun, and our room was stylish and cozy. The resort is packed with amenities, making it perfect for both kids and adults. Truly ideal for families—we can’t wait to come back!

[waterpark] First and best experience is the waterpark. The reason is not just the large swirly slide/wavepool area, but mostly because of Astoria's best unsung asset: Nicolas Santiago. Wearing many hats, he added "personal camera man & guide" during my visit. This establishment needs to reward skilled talent like this, ASAP. [Buffet] As part of my booking, the daily breakfast buffet was a huge highlight. In fact, anyone reading this and cares about tasty treats must include Friday in their stay, sample the aptly named Ube Dream Cake. However, every dish served is high quality. If it's a separate charge though, expect to pay for that deliciousness. [Villa] excellent mini-house by the beach. It's also right next to the main restaurant, which also has an infinity pool (one of several). [Price/distance] the only non-glowing part of this review is the booking price, followed by the resort's distance. For how far it is from the airport (1.5hr), it's not the cheapest resort. However, it does make a move launching point to Palawan tourist spots like El Nido and the underground river. The price is only really justified if you take advantage of all the free amenities, but that's a factor of the customer's energy. Tl;dr great stay, but make it count.
