Astoria Palawan

More than anything, Astoria Palawan's service to its guests is excellent and commendable I felt like a celebrity during my entire stay. The room we stayed in was nice and the resort is jam packed with amenities and activities. There are complimentary tours available. We did the Pakpak Lauin beach tour and it's exquisite. The overall ambiance of the resort is very chill, quiet, and calm, perfect for people who actually want to relax and unwind. The personnel always ensures that your room is clean. They're also courteous, always greeting you whenever they see you. The waterpark is amazing! We felt like children playing around its attractions. Big shoutout to Sir Agustin for accompanying us during our stay in the waterpark. He's super hospitable, and takes great photos and videos! I 100% recommend this place to my loved ones. This is definitely worth the price.

We are a premier member of Astoria and it is the best decision in terms of booking holidays. We are a family of 4 from London and it is lovely to come home and enjoy and relax with a great scenery, accomodation, great food and service. We had a lovely time again in Astoria Palawan, special mention to Pamela Estrada, Ms. Marjorie, Ms Suri, Kuya Oscar from Premier pool and Mark the waiter from The Reserve and all the staff, some of them we forgot their names. Thank you for all your service and accommodating our needs, you made us feel special each time we visit. The staff are truly the gem of Astoria Palawan, excellent customer service! It was the best experience ever! I have been to a lot of places like this and this is my Top 1 now!! Everyone was hospitable and always smiling. Everybody greets you when they see you. We also had a blast with the buffet dinner! The staffs named:||Anjo, Kurt, Renie, Winson, Chio, Arvin||Were all kind to help us with all our needs. ||We hope this place never changes its atmosphere. It was a truly awesome experience

Wow, Astoria Palawan is a 5-star resort with all the amenities you need! The staff members are excellent! We were offered a tour of the Sandbar, and it was well organized. The boat ride was amazing, and the Sandbar experience was unimaginable! We would like to extend a special thank you to Noel Bundac for going above and beyond. Making our trip memorable and special! The rooms are spacious and clean! Staff is so accommodating! We met Marvin Maula, we mentioned we were here to celebrate our son's 6th birthday and he brought over a cake for our son. We will definitely come back and invest here! This resort is great for families! The water park was so fun!

We would like to thank Mr Michael Alaska for his excellent service to us during our stay and buffet dining experience at The Reserve restaurant. He is prompt with our requests and very good in building rapport with his clients. Overall excellent service. As for the food, I would like to commend the team as they accept our requests most importantly with our infant whom only eats puréed food from our breakfast and dinner. This is the first restaurant to where we were able to enjoy food along with our baby. Only downside seen is the food tags and non-stroller friendly waterpark. Moreover, wife is allergic to scaleless fish and unfortunately had mild allergies while having our last night dinner would suggest to indicate what is the type/kind of fish served moving forward. Thank you for the complimentary cake!

Probably the best resort I’ve been to! Can’t say a single bad thing about their staff and service - they are the definition of filipino hospitality. Great food, huge place with lots of things to do and every corner is instagrammable! The rooms are super clean and more spacious than your typical hotel. Lots of greenery! Price is not as cheap as when you go to Bora S3 but definitely reasonable esp sa level of service that they offer. Mas mura and madaming complimentary activities if member. Literally princess treatment. Would love to go back here again soon! Kudos to all the staff and the management!

It was quite wonderful, peaceful and relaxed vacation I had ever! From airport picked up, daytour and airport dropped off, I felt their warm and genuine care. The food?? Oh, it was amazingly good! A lot of choices and its affordable! Overall, everything was excellent! Hope to spend another vacay there.

I was quite impressed by the Astoria Palawan Resort. The resort is beautifully situated very close to the water. We were here for three nights. But what impressed me most was the front desk, restaurant, accommodations, tour plans and water park. The front desk was prompt to our needs. They made every effort to ensure that my girl friend and I were satisfied and having a great experience. We were upgraded immediately when our landline phone was not working. The restaurant's breakfast and dinners were delicious. A taco night, who would have known. For breakfast, main dishes were changed daily giving you an opportunity to taste something new. Each night, a fire show capped off a wonderful evening. The accommodations were very good. The pillows and bed were vey comfortable. I liked that the shower and toilet area being separated giving us privacy. The tour plan was convenient and prompt. The tour vans were on time and they was no waiting. Tour plans were for many wonderful locations. We went island hopping one day. It included snorkeling in many locations over coral reefs and a lunch on one small island. Our other tour was to the Puerto Princesa Subterranean River National Park. This is something I will never forget. We also did a Mangrove tour by indigenous locals and zip lining nearby. What a wonderful trip created by the tour planners for us. The water park was amazing. Many slides and lots of water. Additionally, the water was very clean and there were many life guards on duty. I will go back or visit one of their other resorts.

This is like a secret resort hidden in nature. The place is beautiful while the amenities are first class. The food is varied and delicious. Best of all, the staff is courteous and accommodating. They prioritize the guest experience at the top. I would come back again and again. Thank you to the people and management that keep this gem a gem.

During my research on places to stay in Palawan, I fell in love with this resort because of their upgraded amenities such as the bathroom and their beautiful pool! Very important in my book! Love that the resort sits right on the beach. The resort is an hour and 20 min from Puerto Princesa airport. Would recommend flying in early and seeing the city first before checking in. We were welcomed with fresh juice, a rose because it's Valentine's Day, a shell necklace and friendly staff. Check in was quick and easy. We were then escorted to our rooms, we reserved 2 side by side. Each villa has 4 roomy and modern rooms with the bare concrete floors, nicely upgraded bathroom, beds are a bit too hard for me but are very common in the Philippines. The resort has many amenities such as free kayak and paddle board rental, game rooms, playgrounds, infinity pool, private beach, but only 1 restaurant. The resort is expanding and a water park is set to open summer 2016.

Before coming here everything mentioned was about the great customer service. And I can say they are indeed excellent in addressing their customers needs Hotel Rooms are clean with modern decor. They are quick to bring what you need. The dining area had a buffet breakfast. Food was good on a daily basis but I had wished they had a better exhaust in the restaurant. Again staff was always at your service. My wallet fell as I was dining and one of the staff was honest to pick it up and return it to me, Really appreciated that. The beach front is more of a view than to actually be on it. But the infinite pool sure compensates the lack of access to the beach and if you have kids the pool park is a sure hit. On the entertainment they have the fire dancers on a daily basis and lounge singers. The Friday night singer was even nice enough to duet 2x with my father :) Things that I think they can improve on is an actual bar that stays late and continuous entertainment. Perhaps even just music or tv's. They do have a karaoke bar but I feel with the bar they can even do well with this as people do look for something to do at night.

The best resort in Palawan! You will meet the friendliest staff ready to meet all your needs. And don't forget to look for Andy B - he is the funniest and most gorgeous staff member at the resort! We love Andy B!
