57 Disney World Rides and Attractions, Ranked From Best to Worst

"A spinning flight attraction that offers elevated views of Tomorrowland and Cinderella Castle; while similar in ride concept to other flying attractions, the vantage point makes it worth a ride if waits are short. I ove starting my day at Magic Kingdom with a flight on the Astro Orbiter. There's no Lightning Lane for this and it's a VERY slow loading ride so it's best to do it first or last thing during the day!

Google
First time riders. My first visit to Magic Kingdom was the year after the park opened. This was not one of the rides I was able to go on. It was a real look back to the mind of Walt and what his vision for tomorrow land was. It was way faster than I anticipated. As an older rider I was fortunate to have a younger couple help.me out of the capsule. Not super ada accessible. But not totally undooable. If you are willing to sacrifice a little dignity, you can ride. Do t let life slow you down. Shoot for the stars. #ada #space #astrology #Walt

Is not the closure expensive? When the ride is open, I anxiously wait inline even slightly due to the staff sharing concern with me. Once and when on top, I feel rushed to make my way to select. I am excited but then become scared in the high orbit due to the over tilt. The hydraulics badly creak. The ride slightly jolts while it should be smoothly going up and down. Thankfully, I can feel like I am slightly holding on tight due to the provided handle while also tucking my feet together and keeping them deep in the ship. I slightly choose to slightly comfortably duck. Later, I get scared looking forward and unfortunately down that I need to choose to glance over to see the park. I wish a little boy would choose to resituate the space ships and smooth the hydraulics. 🚀 ✨ 🛗

Google
Astro Orbiter is a super fun ride. Many great views of Magic Kingdom can be seen from this ride since it is elevated. I get dizzy a bit easily, but this ride did not make me dizzy even though it spins in a circle. Definitely recommend if the wait isn't too long.

Cave Arnold

Google
We always ride this at least once per visit to the Magic Kingdom. We try to wait until the line is less than 30 minutes as it is a short ride. It has spectacular views. The rockets are small for multiple adults, it was a bit of a squeeze with out backpack.

Giulia L.

Google
One of my least favorite rides in Magic Kingdom. Lines are long but the ride itself is short. As other people mentioned, be mindful that there isn't much space in the rocket ships you will sit on. You can pilot the ship up an down, my daughter kept it fairly down as I was having anxiety due to height frightening but I wanted her to enjoy it. The ride felt a little rusty. The view from above is stunning, you can see all Tomorrowland and the Castle surroundings. I was looking straight to avoid looking above it and be more anxious. I want to give it another try maybe at night when everything is illuminated, should give another vibe. Would I wait 30-40 minutes in line for this? Absolutely no.

Google
This was so fun, a great way to view to park from above. My daughter is 12 and made the comment how cool the view was. Definitely make time for this one!

Chad

Google
It's like Dumbo, but almost as high as Cinderella's castle! It's a little generic in that it lacks any branding, i.e. association with a specific film. Regardless, the fairly unique perspective it affords the riders makes it very rewarding. The only downsides are lack of AC, even in the elevarors, and tight cars for the tall.

Yelp
Went to magic kingdom for the first time during the spooky season and I have to say, I loved the decorations! It's the start of the holiday season and the temperature drops a little. The transportation to get to MK or to another park is not very magical. The huge crowds to see the fireworks can be very overwhelming to get in and out of so I would recommend watching from the sides so you can go to your next stop after. Leaving after the fireworks is intense nor matter if you take the tram or ferry boat. You also can't get an adult beverage unless you have a reservation for the one restaurant that sells. We did not attempt to walk up to the bar for a quick service so i can't speak for that. We got on several rides with dumbo being the longest at 45 minutes. Overall, it's Disney! It's magical and a fun place to walk around and see the characters, get on rides and indulge in yummy snacks!

Yelp
it's the flipping MAGIC KINGDOM... sometimes lines are long get over it catch me at main street with my coffee experiencing the magic #passholder

Yelp
My visits to the Magic Kingdom are always magical. The park is always clean and well kept, the cast members are always helpful and cheery, and every detail is thought out. I always compare DisneyWorld to other theme parks and they honestly don't compare. Always a grand trip and I can't wait until next visit!

Yelp
On a recent trip to Orlando, I stopped in at Magic Kingdom for the pineapple Dole whip alone. Did I go on some rides and eat some other stuff? Sure. But I was there for the Dole whip.

Yelp
Going back to Disney's Magic Kingdom after 27 years was a delight! The rides are classic and nostalgic. Not many big rollercoasters so good for littles. TRON is probably the biggest roller coaster and is fun! My favorite ride was the Seven Dwarves Mine Ride. We didn't hit Tiana's Bayou (formerly Splash Mountain) but that is another bigger ride up get wet on. This place is a feast for the eyes and nostalgia for the heart if you're an adult! Of course the kiddos love it too. Sad there aren't characters that walk around anymore and you have to wait in long lines to see them. We didn't wait to meet anyone since we went with 4 adults. The Columbia restaurant was cute and cozy and affordable for Disney ($8-15 I think average). Bottled water was $4 but there are plenty of water fountains if you don't want to buy them. I love that you can bring your own food and drinks. Be sure to leave maybe an hour to actually get into the park once you arrive. I didn't think about that... between parking, walking or taking a shuttle to having to take a boat ride or monorail ride and going through security and tickets, it takes a while. We went in late September, when it's supposed to be the slowest month. It was quite busy to me! But one of the people we went with who has an annual pass said it wasn't crowded that day. Glad we went when we did then because more crowds would've been too much!! We waited maybe 60-70 minutes for the mine, Peter Pan, and TRON rides. 45 minutes for Haunted Mansion. 30 minutes for Space Mountain. And a variety of other rides, around 20-30 minutes. Those are "slow season" times, for reference. Overall, a wonderful day that I'm grateful we were able to do! I was on the fence, with tickets being $164/1 day (Florida resident or non-Florida resident) currently. It was a hefty price, but I'm so glad we went for the day. now it'll probably be another 25 years!

Yelp
Magic Kingdom is so iconic for Disney. It is a must see. The castle is so impressive as well as the parades and firework displays. There are many attractions, stores for merch, and places to eat or grab a snack. I went for the Mickey's Not-so-Scary Halloween party and the ticketed event was also really impressive. The park is available to day passes until 7PM and the ticketed event starts at 4PM, so there is an overlap where wait times may be a bit longer. After 7PM, some smaller rides close for the night so be sure to check which rides are open for the event. They have a special parade and fireworks display that they do for the event and, since the event is sponsored by Mars Wrigley, there are Trick-or-Treat stations throughout the park. They give you a reusable Halloween bag and cast members literally shovel candy into your bag all night after 7PM. Unfortunately, the day we went it was downpouring at around 9PM, so we ended up leaving early, but the super nice cast member at the entrance told us that Main Street would be open until 1AM for the event. So they sort of phase the park out into closing so you can plan what you want to do. Had we had the full night, we would have prioritized rides, then candy, then food, and then shopping on Main Street. It is definitely important to go to the parks with a plan! Though, you can always still have fun at Disney if you wing it!

Yelp
It has been over ten years since the last time I was here. My husband and I went early October and Magic Kingdom was decorated in fall and halloween vibes. We went on a Tuesday and it was also a Not So Scary night so they closed early. Some of our favorite rides were Tron and Space Mountain. We didn't really stay the entire time because we had park hopper but definitely was fun. Every time I'm here I feel the childhood magic.
google avatar

Christine J.

Yelp
If you have never been to a scary Halloween, you definitely need to put it on your bucket list. It's a separately ticketed event that starts at 7 PM, however, the park allows you to get early entry at four. This give you time to go on some rides or grab something to eat before the party starts. There are two times to see the parade and the Hocus Pocus show, but there was only one time to see the firework spectacular and it's something you don't want to miss. We did check out some of the party exclusive food items the pumpkin churros, and the chicken fingers with garlic sauce were out out of this world. We took home some party exclusive baked goods as well. And don't forget to pick up some party, exclusive souvenirs, including the Jack skeleton, popcorn holder, which lights up and the kids love.

Yelp
Magic Kingdom was absolutely amazing! The mix of classic rides, fun new attractions, and great food made for a perfect day. We grabbed lunch at Cosmic Ray's, which has that classic diner vibe with sandwiches and burgers--I had a burger, and it was excellent. We caught a show at the castle, then hopped on the PeopleMover, which was such a nice way to relax and enjoy a scenic ride around Tomorrowland. Some of the ride highlights included Pirates of the Caribbean, always a must-do, and TRON, which was incredible--like riding a light cycle through the air! Definitely one of my new favorite rides. The nighttime entertainment was just as magical. The new night parade at 9 p.m. and 11 p.m. felt like a throwback to the old light-up parade, with glowing floats, favorite characters, and so much energy. The fireworks at the castle at 10 p.m. were as spectacular as ever, and we ended the night perfectly with some ice cream. Such a fun and memorable day!

Yelp
What I love about the park is the spaced out feel Like it's not all crowded in terms of walkways and yes the castle is huge and awesome compared to Disneyland But their small world is a bummer from the outside and their haunted mansion doesn't give off the haunted on the outside lol We arrived via boat from our hotel which was a cabin so that was cool and fun to experience but you can arrive via the tram too Otherwise the park itself feels like Disneyland and it's always a fun good time minus the wait lines lol

Yelp
Honestly, Disney World truly is the most magical place on earth. That is most evident in Magic Kingdom of course. Wear comfortable shoes, plenty of snacks, and a good water bottle. Frontierland has the best options for lunch, if you are looking to go somewhere without reservations that won't break the bank. Magic Kingdom will take you AT LEAST two days, if you want to do all the rides and see the shows/parades. Anyone who tells you differently is lying to you. The best place to watch the fireworks is from the train station in Main Street.
google avatar

Riley N.

Yelp
Magic Kingdom is the heart and soul of Disney World--the place where the magic really comes to life. Walking down Main Street U.S.A. toward Cinderella Castle never gets old. It's iconic, nostalgic, and just has that special something you can't quite put into words. There's so much to do here, from classic rides like Pirates of the Caribbean, Haunted Mansion, and It's a Small World, to big thrills like Space Mountain and the newer TRON Lightcycle Run. The fireworks show at night is breathtaking and emotional--definitely stay for that if you can. The cast members are always friendly, and the whole park is clean, organized, and beautifully maintained. There's a great mix of rides for all ages, plus plenty of snacks and dining options (I'm always hunting down a Dole Whip or Mickey pretzel!). Why 4 stars instead of 5? Mainly because the crowds can be intense, and wait times for popular attractions can get really long without a Lightning Lane. It can also feel overwhelming if you're trying to do everything in one day--it's a lot to take in! Still, Magic Kingdom is a must-visit. It's the most "Disney" experience you can get and full of those unforgettable, picture-perfect moments. Just come prepared with patience and a little bit of a game plan.

Yelp
When you think of Disney World, you almost immediately imagine Magic Kingdom and the iconic castle. Walking down Main Street USA enjoying the sounds, smells, and views are incredible. Grab a treat. have something to eat, and find a line to join for your favorite ride. Magic Kingdom has the classic Disney rides as well as some new adventures. You might also catch a glimpse of your favorite characters and be sure to stick around for the fireworks. The park is open later so you can take home all the souvenirs you want.

Yelp
From Super Bowl winning quarterbacks, to kids of all ages, this is the place everyone wants to go at least once. And if by chance you marry into a Disney family, more than likely, you're going more than once. Magic Kingdom, the quintessential Disney park is by far the one you need to visit if you have some time in Central Florida. Between the constantly evolving decor, different character meet & greets, and the food specials, one thing remains constant here and I'm not talking about the humidity. (Although, I highly encourage people to go when it's hot so it's less busy for me in the cooler months) The constant here is the feeling of being a kid again when you get into the park. It might actually be something magical in the water because this is a fun place to be and see. Bringing my 2.5 year old son here and watching him meet characters, ride the rides, and hopefully make some core memories was the coolest part to our trip here. Be warned though, it takes a lot of endurance for a Disney day, even more so if the temps are hot and humid. Be sure to drink plenty of free cups water they offer at the food stands and get some shade when you can. Whether you're a parent, childless millennial, or a just a Disney adult, this place has something for everyone and it really is a good time. If you want to feel like a kid all over again, go on some pretty cool rides, and eat some delicious food, then Magic Kingdom is the place to be.

Yelp
I think I've finally outgrown Magic Kingdom: I'll admit, Tron was a fantastic ride! It was thrilling, and super fast, with a great soundtrack and stunning effects that all add up to a heart-pounding experience. I would highly recommend it, especially with the Lightning Pass, which worked like a charm. The park, itself, maintains its magic... to a point. Disney does a good job of maintaining the whimsical ambiance, and the cast members were generally friendly. We didn't actually eat in Magic Kingdom, so I can't comment on the food. As an adult I'm less enthused about the packed crowds and the smells - ahem - odors of the packed crowds. Yes, everyone sweats, and everyone is sweaty, but those who don't shower regularly give off a foul, pungent funk that is literally nauseating, which kills the magic. Also killing the magic is Disney World only allowing you to purchase 2 single Lightning Passes. Why? Why, why, why? It literally makes no sense. For this reason, we left before dark.
google avatar

Amelia D.

Yelp
Get your wallets ready and you'll have a wonderful time. Be sure to do your research and prep work. Always carry an umbrella or be prepared for the rain, however you choose to do that. The cast members were mostly so so nice and friendly. Food was decent. Of course, we will always return to see the magic!

Yelp
Magical Unbelievable sights. Indescribable feelings. Soaring, tumbling, freewheeling through an endless diamond sky.

Yelp
Magic Kingdom-- the heart and soul of DisneyWorld. Fun for: first timers, families of all ages, those wanting to ride the more classic rides & meet the traditional characters and princesses of all your favorite Disney movies. Since this is the park that gets the most visitors, expect long stand-by lines and heavy traffic!! MUST: Character Dining: Depending on when you're going and if you can make reservations, I'd suggest: Cinderella's Royal Table (meet princesses, better food, more intimate dining setting) / Be Our Guest (only meet Beast, detailed interior, large dining room) / Crystal Palace (meet Winnie the Pooh & friends, buffet) MUST SEE: Festival of Fantasy Parade at 3:00 PM - runs through Adventureland/Frontierland; Parade of princesses and other FantasyLand characters. PRO TIP: Find a spot in Frontierland, better views, less crowded Magic Kingdom is divided into multiple themed parks: Main Street USA, Frontierland, Adventureland, Tomorrowland, Fantasy Land, and Liberty Square. NOTE: Don't miss the fireworks show at 9:20 PM in front of the castle.

Yelp
If you want to test the limits of human patience, human wallets, and human bladder control, welcome to the Magic Kingdom. It's a place where 50,000 people willingly line up in the Florida swamp heat, pay small-fortune ticket prices, and still walk away crying happy tears. That's the trick -- Disney doesn't just run a theme park; they run America's most successful cult. The crowds are biblical. You'll shuffle shoulder-to-shoulder through Main Street like it's Black Friday at Walmart, dodging strollers driven with NASCAR intensity. Genie+? A fancy way of saying, "Pay extra so you can still wait in line." By 3PM, every parent looks like they've been through combat, every kid is vibrating from sugar and heat, and you'll swear off humanity at least twice before you hit your first Dole Whip. The prices are pure comedy. A water bottle? $5 -- straight from the most magical tap on earth. A churro? $7 for fried sugar and regret. Mouse ears? $40 for fabric that cost Mickey maybe a nickel in manufacturing. And you'll pay it, because you've already sunk so much into getting here that your credit card starts crying "Hakuna Matata." But then... the history. This isn't just a theme park -- it's Walt Disney's legacy, opened in 1971 as the East Coast crown jewel of his empire. Every brick on Main Street USA was designed with forced perspective to feel like an idealized small-town America. Cinderella Castle isn't just a backdrop -- it's an icon, a fairytale skyscraper built to anchor the entire park, visible from almost every land. Even the trash cans are perfectly placed, because Walt believed you should never have to walk more than 30 steps with garbage in hand. And the rides. Pirates of the Caribbean, Haunted Mansion, Space Mountain -- they're not just attractions, they're American mythmaking. Generations have ridden these rides, and somehow, they still deliver. Add in the newer expansions -- Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, TRON Lightcycle Run -- and you realize this park has been reinventing itself for over 50 years while never losing its core. Then there's the fireworks. You stand on Main Street at night, castle glowing, projection mapping swirling across turrets, Tinker Bell zipping overhead -- and suddenly the screaming kids, the overpriced food, and the blisters fade away. For a moment, you're 8 years old again, staring up with your jaw hanging open. Yes, it's crowded, yes, it's overpriced, yes, it's borderline masochism to survive a full day here. But it's also the Magic Kingdom. The one and only. The park that turned theme parks into religion. You don't come here for convenience -- you come here to remember what magic feels like, even if it costs $14 for a cheeseburger.

Yelp
Magic Kingdom will always have a special place in my heart. We love coming on Sunday afternoons when the park isn't crazy busy. They have fun restaurants, cute rides, great merch, and just a fun atmosphere. Even after years, it's still so fun to go. We definitely love our annual passes. Don't sleep on MK!
google avatar

Mike Z.

Yelp
It is a magical spot. We stayed on property so got in early, which made all the difference for us. However, when entering the park in the morning you must go to the right to go left, if your ride is in that direction. We didn't realize that and lost some time because of that. Using their app is a real game changer for seeing wait times, ordering food ahead of time, linking photos and using the interactive map. We discovered a neat popcorn spot near the entrance. You can make your own with all sorts of candy, which my son really enjoyed. The buses back to the resort could use a bit more direction, but the ride is so convenient and worth staying on one of the Disney properties.

Yelp
This might have been my twentieth time visiting Magic Kingdom. A visit to this iconic park can come at a hefty price, raising concerns over affordability among visitors. There are several factors contributing to the rising costs of Disney Parks according to what I read. Disney states that the demand for premium experiences brings on growing expenses associated with maintaining extensive infrastructure. It is interesting from what I read about their pricing model. To manage this influx of visitors, Disney employs dynamic pricing strategies, adjusting ticket prices based on how busy the parks are expected to be. This means that during peak times, guests may have to pay significantly more for the same experiences they could enjoy at a lower cost during off-peak periods, creating a barrier for many would-be visitors. Another notable change that has affected the experience of visiting Disney Parks is the way guests interact with Disney characters. In the past, it was common for characters to roam the parks, allowing for spontaneous encounters and photo opportunities. However, for safety reasons, the practice has evolved. Now, character interactions are often limited to designated queues, ensuring a controlled environment where both guests and characters can enjoy the experience safely. While this decision prioritizes safety, it has also shifted the spontaneity that many of us once enjoyed. In conclusion, it is undeniable that Disney Parks now represents a significant financial commitment for families and individuals looking to experience the park. As someone who believes that the current prices are too expensive, I share the concerns of many about how this trend could impact future generations' ability to create lasting memories at these beloved destinations. Overall, we enjoyed our visit despite the cost.

Yelp
Inspired by the Disneyland theme park in Anaheim, CA. Magic Kingdom has been the most visited theme park in the world for some time, for a reason. With the world renowned Cinderella Castle at the entrance, takes you back to childhood memory lane while also feeling like I've Arrived! With six unique section, each with its own theme, you can spend days here. Adventureland, Fantasyland, Frontierland, Liberty Square, Main Street USA and Tomorrowland are spread vastly spread out across the Kingdom. Have a great time.
google avatar

Kevin I.

Yelp
Be aware that there appear to be organized groups of individuals inside the Disney park who seem to observe and follow other guests both inside and outside the park, and they also seem to listen in on people's conversations.
google avatar

Amy R.

Yelp
I'v been to Disney a number of times, but this time I was able to bring my son and it was my first time coming as a mom. I could have passed on the Disney experience, but it wasn't about me. Seeing it through his eyes was the best. Many things have changed since I was last there in 2010. Parade is great Rides are great- we did a lot of the boat rides just to get out of the heat. Would defintely recommend the fast passes. The lines are as brutal as the heat. Tiana's was my favorite. Didn't order any food. Sodas and drinks are around $6.00 for a bottle. Love taking the monorail to and fron Disney to the rideshare/pickup. It's always pretty clean- not a ton of shade Great park with little bit of everything for everyone.
google avatar

Vincent U.

Yelp
We went during Mickeys Not So Scary Halloween party so it wasn't too crowded and the lines went fast. I would highly recommend the event. I loved all of the nostalgic rides and the newer additions. I will be back again!

Yelp
It's worth it! You need to go! Pro Tips: Lightning lane booking 3 days of not staying on property, 7 days of staying on property Parking $25-35, VIP/Preferred $25 more Popcorn buckets can be refilled Annual Passholders get a discount - pricing is about 5-7 parkhoppers passes - if you're going for multiple days, check in to see if you can upgrade to AP to save more money on merch and food PhotoPass is worth it ask for the magic shots Take breaks and explore the Kingdom

Yelp
Happiest place on Earth! I came back for my annual trip to the parks. It's nice to see much hasn't changed. A few of the rides have changed since my last visit (Splash Mountain got an update), but many of the rides I grew up with are still there. It was nice to see the updates to the Hall of Presidents. Also nice to see that some of them don't have speaking roles haha. Always a fun day trip!

Yelp
2025 Yelp 100 Challenge- #4 Visited Magic Kingdom the day after Christmas and the park was packed. My family purchase multi pass lighting lane and it allowed the day to be less stressful. We waited in a few lines which is to be expected and simply enjoy snacking along the way. Food Consumed Cheeseburgers Egg rolls Funnel Cake with no toppings Hot Dog and Popcorn

Yelp
First trip to Disney World and after going on a cruise, I prefer the water. The lines were long, it was hot but I made the best of it for kids but even they were over it. Food prices in the park are not bad either.

Yelp
Magic Kingdom is the original. You can't go without getting a photo of yourself in front of the incomparable Disney Castle and a visit is not complete without riding "It's A Small World." Is it overpriced? Yes. Is it a little hokey with everyone wearing their Mickey Mouse ears? Very much. Is it fun? Mostly. I'm glad I went to be able to say I was in "The Happiest Place On Earth."
google avatar

Liz L.

Yelp
As a first-time adult visitor to the Magic Kingdom, I was absolutely blown away! The park truly lives up to the hype. Visiting now during the cooler months was a fantastic choice. Lower crowds meant shorter lines and a more relaxed atmosphere. We purchased the day & night time tickets which were perfect. We enjoyed strolls and casual small rides during the day, then tackled the big-ticket attractions with shorter waits at night. We were able to ride Tron 3x which was an incredible experience! Overall I had an unforgettable time at the Magic Kingdom. The magic is real, and I highly recommend it to fellow adults.

Wightman, S.

Yelp
Date of Visit: September 23, 2024 I expected magic. I got a mess. Rude staff at concession stands Stale food, cold hotdogs, soda tasted like chemicals Epcot closed without notice Galaxy of the Universe ride shut down mid-line Train ride led to a closed exhibit "It's a Small World" was falling apart--malfunctioning dolls, deteriorating drywall, garbled music Parade was so bad even kids were laughing at the floats and characters $250+ per ticket for this? Never again. Disneyland was a complete letdown.

Yelp
We had a great time despite the long lines which was about 40-50 minutes wait time on a Sunday for the newer rides like TRON and the little mermaid... DO NOT waste your money on PREFERRED PARKING! You don't have to take the tram BUT, It's still a long walk to the monorail. Somebody said it's a SCAM! LoL We went around 1pm-5pm & we got on 3 rides! LoL TRON: 10/10 Oh this ride will WAKE YOU UP! Expect it to be equivalent to a ride at SIX FLAGS MAGIC MOUNTAIN... It's fast & scary for kids! The little girl behind me said "Mom, it was so scary that I peed in my pants" YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED KIDDOS!!! THE LITTLE MERMAID: 10/10 Was as pleasant to ride on the haunted mansion ;) Meet ARIEL the little mermaid: 9/10 we mistakenly thought this was the line for the little mermaid ride and unexpected met Ariel after a 40 minute wait :) IT'S A SMALL WORLD AFTER ALL: 10/10 It's joyful, beautiful & It's a classic! Ok, DISNEY please go easy on the prices! It's about $174.99 per person & preferred parking is $55 Besides the OVER PRICED TICKET & PARKING, the MASSIVE LONG LINES & CROWDS its the happiest place on earth isn't it? ROCK ON MAGIC KINGDOM! It's a small world after all, my wallet also felt smaller after all ;)

Yelp
I haven't been here since Covid when disney closed n didn't extend my pass when they reopened. I had paid cash for it. 800! My calls and emails nobody was willing to help me no refund no extension on the past once they reopen I've been going to Disney my whole life. The first time I was 11 the year they were open. I brought a full bus today and they bought me a one day pass. So I went in. I still see the dark clouds that remind me of being ripped off. Personally, I was even more disappointed that it's pretty much same. Outdated n needs a face lift n new attractions desperately! I did have fun and small world was awesome as always. New paint and costumes! Still my favorite! It's still Disney. We all still love our memories! Back when 10.00 got you in for the day was the best!

Yelp
Love love love Disney! As always I only have good things to say about it! Parks are always clean, always organized and cast members are always helpful. If I had to pick a negative it would be the food. Food in the parks are a bit tough with the exception of Epcot.

Yelp
This is my first time visiting Disney World, and I had an absolute blast! Both of my friends had been here before, and my biggest Takeaway is that you absolutely NEED to plan your trip in advance, this is not a place you can just show up for the day! My friends, carefully curated our schedule, including which fast passes we needed, and where we would use them. This proved not only helpful, but 100% necessary. We were able to go on several rides, meet several characters, and eat quite a bit of delicious food! The doll whip was one of my favorites, I got the twist flavor and it was absolutely excellent! For dinner, we ate at the Snow White themed restaurant, and had a three course meal. It was not too much food, and did not take too long either, despite us getting to meet Snow White, a couple dwarfs, and the magic queen herself throughout the meal. All characters at the park, and in the restaurant were incredibly amazing performers, And did a phenomenal job of staying in character, entertaining us, and making each moment personable and memorable to everyone I saw them interact with. This is an expensive trip, but if you plan things, well, you'll get more than your moneys worth out of your visit!

Yelp
Update July 1, 2025 A family trip to Walt Disney World to see my soon to be 4 year old great great nephew's reaction to being at WDW, started early morning at 8:00 am paid parking ranges from $30 to $55. If you're a guest at one of the Disney Resorts parking is included to the parks. As much as the tickets cost, parking should be included. We had already purchased our tickets online, and only had to have our bags gone through, and to be scanned with the wand. Security that checked me in was very friendly and helpful, some of the other security were not as friendly. Ticket scan in was quick and easy. The humidity and sun are BRUTAL in Florida. Temperature that day was only 88, but the heat was off the chain. Lines were long and wait times were long, the lightening passes work, but are just another way for WDW to get more money out of you. Honestly after seeing my nephew's face when he saw Cinderella's Castle, riding It's a Small World with him beside me, watching him in Tiana's Bayou Adventure and watching him dance and have fun with Pluto at The Story Book Circus was good enough for me. He had a blast, but Aunt Chelle was ready to go after standing in line to ride Space Mountain, it shutting down because of a malfunction(which happened at several rides that day) not really sure if it would be back up or not. We finally boarded the ride, and I was ready to leave after that. Listen, if you have trouble sitting on something low and getting up, AVOID Space Mountain!!!. Around 4:30 it started raining, I had a poncho, but that rain was like a monsoon with strong wind gusts, lightening and rain coming down in sheets. My niece and I left before the rest of our family, by the time we walked to the Monorail(told that it wasn't running, that we would have to ride the ferry. On the way to the ferry we saw the monorail running. We got soaked, shoes and clothes!! All in all it was an ok day. WDW is a scam trying to get as much money out of you as they possibly can and it works to an extent. What did ruin my day was seeing a man dressed in a suit parading around WDW wearing a RED MAGA HAT. After reading on goggle that it would not be allowed. Well WDW you failed in your job at that!! Not sure that I would make another trip to WDW again, the maga hat did it for me.

Yelp
Magic Kingdom will always bring back nostalgic vibes for me and is a MUST do park when visiting Disney. Honestly when I think of Disney I think of MK! My husband and I opted for a slow morning in the park. We started the day with drinks from their Starbucks on Main Street and then rode Haunted Mansion, the People Mover, and then had lunch at Tony's Town Square where we watched the Festival of Fantasy parade from our table! It was such an enjoyable time and I loved how colorful the park is. I truly revert back to the kid at heart! This park is always clean and the Cast Members are always friendly. It's such a magical time at the Magic Kingdom!

Yelp
What is there to say about the magic kingdom. Where dreams come true and so on. First time with family as we normally would just visit Disneyland back in California. Right from the start, parking was great. We were guided into the lot and then the shuttle takes you to the gate. From there you check in enter. The lady that checked us in was so sweet. She asked what the occasion was and congratulated us on first visit, which a pin was given to us. From there you either take another tram or the boat to the main entrance of the park. It was busy as expected which we came right before Halloween which of course it was decked out. Also, we found out that depending on what day you visit, park closed early for different event. This day, they stayed open the whole time. And didn't have to purchase a ticket for the second part in the evening. It basically the same as Disney back in la when you walk in. The castle right in the distance on Main Street. Recommend making reservations when you first arrive of prior as they do book up fast. Also the good thing, we opted out for the lightening pass which is pricey. The lines for majority of rides were 15 min or so which was perfect. Overall, loved the time spent here.

Yelp
It's been several years since I've been to this park so some aspects were brand new and some brought back fond memories. This was my first experience on Tron. OMG so cool, a roller coaster that feels like you are on a motorcycle. Great build up to the ride as well. Very techie and futuristic atmosphere. Pirates of the Caribbean and the Jungle Cruise were past favorites that we revisited. Toy Story shooting was another fav. The first ride I ever went to at any park was Peter Pan so it was fun to revisit that ride and remember being awed by the art and creativity. Some rides like the Jungle Cruise are showing their age and could use a few upgrades in tech but the imagination in building these experiences is never lost on me. Lightning passes are worth it. We saved 50 minutes on Space Mountain. Also preferred parking is worth the extra $15 if you are park hopping as it saves a ton of walking time to your car. I think Disney artistry is one of a kind. Love the parks.

Yelp
I haven't been to magic kingdom since I was a kid and wow. It felt so great to be back but this time with my little nephews. Getting to experience the joy and magic of Disney through their eyes is the best feeling in the world! Things do look a lot different since I last went, but it still was super nostalgic and beautiful to be back. Of course, I've grown up, I love roller coasters more than anything in the world and maybe seeing Mickey and doing the little rides isn't as much "fun" anymore. But still, it doesn't take away from the experience of living the magic of Disney. From their shows to the updated rides and special effects, to the newest ride they have "Tron". Super worth it! Can't believe you can even bring your own food and drink inside without any issues. Can't wait to go to the rest of the parks!

Yelp
We came for the Mickey's Very Merry Christmas party and it was great! Admission included an after hours event in Magic Kingdom with assorted cookies, hot chocolate, cider, egg nog, and of course, access to all the rides and attractions! It was really cold during our visit, but we made the best of it! The hot chocolate kept us warm and we rode on rides such as Space Mountain, Tron, and Its a Small World, among others. The food was not included, but we did get a bite over in Frontierland, where the parade was and both were good. We enjoyed the fireworks at the castle and of course, the numerous character meet and greets that we would not have all gotten in during regular park hours. Our only gripe was that we felt they sold too many tickets to this after hours event as it was really crowded, but again, not so much that you couldn't enjoy the rides and do the character meet ups. All in all, although cold, we enjoy the after hour events, but would caution coming during the winter as it was cold as heck!

Yelp
This has become beyond absurd. After paying almost $200 per person to take our young daughter to see some Disney characters, you realize there's none to be found. If you want to see them, you have to pay extra for some experience. If we didn't book a Whinnie the Pooh lunch, our daughter wouldn't get any pictures with any characters.

Yelp
Magic Kingdom is as magical as ever--clean, fun, and full of classic Disney charm. But I gotta talk about the castle/fireworks experience because that was a whole different vibe. Fireworks start at 9PM sharp, and if you're not camped out at least an hour early, good luck. We barely got a spot, and some people in our group weren't so lucky. Cast Members were not playing--once it hits showtime, they're quick to move people out, even if you're just trying to squeeze in. What started as a chill, magical day kinda turned into a stressful scramble right at the grand finale. Just a heads up: if the fireworks are your main reason for staying all day, plan ahead and be ready to lock in your spot early--or risk ending the night on a not-so-magical note.

Yelp
Magic Kingdom, with its tagline "The Most Magical Place on Earth," truly lives up to its reputation, offering a day filled with wonder, excitement, and unforgettable experiences. Tips for Visiting: To make the most of your visit, plan to arrive as early as possible. The park typically opens at 8:00 AM, so arriving early allows you to maximize your time and beat the crowds. There are two transportation options to enter the park: the ferry or the monorail. Both are enjoyable experiences, but getting there early ensures a smoother start to your day. Must-Have Tools and Add-Ons: Downloading the Disney Mobile App is a game changer! It provides real-time updates on ride wait times, parade schedules, and mobile food ordering options. For those looking to avoid long lines, purchasing the Lightning Lane pass is highly recommended. Although it's an additional cost, it significantly enhances the experience by reducing wait times and allowing you to enjoy more attractions. Dining Options: Food within the park is predominantly American cuisine, with numerous cafes and eateries scattered throughout. Using the mobile app to order your meals ahead of time is a convenient option, and you can even specify the pickup time. This saves a lot of time and lets you focus on enjoying the park. Attractions and Entertainment: The rides are the heart of the Magic Kingdom experience, and we thoroughly enjoyed iconic attractions like the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, Tron, and Space Mountain. There's also a delightful comedy show that provides great laughs for guests of all ages. The parades are a highlight of the day and shouldn't be missed! They take place at 11:00 AM and 2:00 PM, bringing joy to everyone, especially kids, with their vibrant floats, lively music, and appearances by beloved Disney characters. Schedule and Costs: We visited on a weekday and learned that the park closes at 6:00 PM to make way for the exclusive Christmas party starting at 7:00 PM. Ticket prices for a full day are around $170 per person, while the Christmas party costs $200 per person, making it quite expensive to visit during this season. Unfortunately, weekdays don't include the famous fireworks show, which is reserved for weekends. While we had a wonderful time exploring the park and enjoying the attractions, missing out on the fireworks was a letdown. It felt like Disney strategically designed the schedule to encourage guests to spend more money on special events during weekdays. Final Thoughts: Despite the disappointment of missing the fireworks, Magic Kingdom is undeniably magical and worth experiencing at least once. The vibrant atmosphere, thrilling rides, and memorable parades make it a fantastic destination for families and Disney enthusiasts alike. However, for the full Disney magic--including fireworks--consider visiting on a weekend or during a special event.

Yelp
Visiting Magic Kingdom is always a "dream come true." I love the atmosphere and the stunning scenery. This was my second visit to Disney World, with my first visit being five years ago. The Disney cast members always seem to be busy but always have a smile more or less on their faces. I went on a holiday, a very crowded day. Despite a frustrating situation with a cast member that morning, I still had fun. Upon arriving, there was a long line for the photographer at the entrance. My fiancé and I waited patiently to take a picture together. However, the cast member working as the photographer at that time was rude. While speaking to another family he was photographing, he turned to us and mumbled something about dropping our bags under his tripod. We didn't hear him clearly, so we waited for more instructions. That's when he turned to my fiancé and, in a seemingly "joking" manner, asked twice, "Do you know English?" The comment shocked me, especially since I was standing at a distance, waiting. Feeling upset, I responded, "Yes, he knows English. We didn't hear you. What's your problem?" The photographer then quickly took our pictures and apologized, claiming he was joking. I didn't buy his excuse. I walked away feeling annoyed. Thankfully, the rest of the day went better. Although I was able to move past the incident, I couldn't help but feel frustrated that some cast members need to think more carefully about how they speak to visitors.

Yelp
This is my updated review. I haven't been here in a while but my first review wasn't so great. Anyways, a concern of mine are the crowds. Disney should have a cap of how many people enter the park because it is so crowded, wait times exceed two hours for one attraction. My husband and I waited in line for Winnie the Pooh in Fantasyland and it was easily well over one hour to get on the ride. One family came to the ride and made their way through to the front of the line and NOBODY said anything. Prices are super high. My individual ticket was well over $100. My husband I stayed there almost a full day and only went on about six rides and saw two shows- the country bear jamboree and the hall of Presidents. Most rides were closed because of the constant rain that day. Those were the downsides of the Magic Kingdom. Good points? Walk through the outside of the Cinderella Castle to see the gorgeous fountain and mosaic walls that retell the story of Cinderella. The Liberty Square Marketplace is another major plus. It features so many different food vendors like the baked potato wagon and a fruit cart; so many healthy food options and you don't have to wait in line like you would at a restaurant. The Country Bear Jamboree is my favorite show; this was originally at Disneyland too but it was removed and only stayed at the Magic Kingdom in Florida. Also, the Haunted Mansion contains a library scene not featured at Disneyland's version. Overall, not a bad place to visit and have fun but, I do recommend going to the park during the less crowded seasons for a more fuller experience.
