Astypalaia Palace Hotel

😊: Family owned hotel with very welcoming and responsive staff. We have been given an upgraded room with externa jacuzzi (instead of the Honeymoon suite we have booked). The room was very spacious at the rop level, allowing a fabulous view of the harbour and the castle. Well equipped balcony (which we couldn't use very often due to the wind). Extra beach towels have been provided. Daily cleaning, daily clean towels, and a new bottle of water were provided. They have provided late checkout, which was much needed and appreciated and also arranged to rent a car at a very reasonable price, and they have also provided free transportation to/from the port. Definitely recommend.. 😢: The mattress was very soft for our taste and body type, and i couldn't sleep continuously. While the overall look and feel of the room is triple A, there are some details that definitely need some attention..

😊: - great view to the sea/harbour, centre and castle - very close to the centre and everything you need around the area - very kind and helpful staff - tasty breakfast, good variety. 😢: - room not very clean (a lot of dust!) - a lot of noise, especially at nights, because of the boiler on the terrace - dimmed room light - no full length mirror.

Excellent friendly service. Nothing was too much trouble. Room was very clean & comfortable with fresh toiletries every day. The views from the balcony were amazing & the hot tub outside provided refreshing relief from the walk back in the heat. Breakfasts were very good with items regularly replenished. Accommodation well placed to walk to village & bus stop. Supermarket, fruit & veg shop along with tavernas, bars, souvenir, delicatessen & clothes shops all within walking distance. You can also walk up to the castle or down to the port from this accommodation although there are many steps. If we returned to Astypalea we would not hesitate to book here again.

We stayed in the hotel at the beginning of July in the deluxe suit with sea view. The balcony of the room had an excellent view both at the sea and at the famous windmills of Astypalaia. Location is perfect, 5 min walk to the center. Staff was polite, and the breakfast with homemade pies was delicious. Congratulations to the cleaning staff!

The top floor room was magnificent, quiet and clean, with a perfect view to the town of Astypalaia. The premises are only a 5-minute walk to the central square. Maria and her husband were very accommodating with all our requests and very professional! They booked us a really nice day cruise in the islands close to Astypalaia (strongly recommended!!). Breakfast is nice and home made. We strongly recommend this hotel as the overall experience is top class!

Returned to Astypalia hotel after not being able to go for last couple of years. It was still as good as we remember. The views are fantastic. The rooms are spacious and clean. The breakfast is varied each day and the choices are good. Marie who runs the hotel is very helpful and nothing is too much trouble. Everyone we came into contact with at the hotel was very friendly. Can’t wait to go back next year.

We've spent two weeks at Astypalaia Palace Hotel and we couldn’t have enjoyed our stay more. We’ve made the booking very short term at about 9 pm or so and Mike have kindly organized our transfer for the same night at around 3 am from the port to the hotel. At the hotel itself we have got a nice upgrade to the Executive Spa Suite with private deck, heated whirlpool, fantastic view of the bay, the Chora and the sea plus lots of space. Thanks a lot for that. Next time we would book the Suite directly. Maria prepared a fantastic breakfast with new and freshly baked treats every single day. The hotel is very close and in walking distance located to the main square and the Chora. The BEST was the daily cleaning service. We have stayed in many hotels during the years, but have never experienced such a professional cleaning in a hotel like at Astypalaia Palace Hotel! The room was spotless after the kind young lady was cleaning up after us. A thousand thanks for that! We would be more than happy to come back here. Thanks a lot to the entire team! We will miss you guys! 💙🤍💙
