Comfortable & clean with friendly staff.
Our room was on the first floor and comprised large bedroom area with TV, lounge chairs with an adjacent dining area attached to the kitchenette. There was an en-suite wet room off the dining area. The accommodation was of a good size and was very clean. A large double bed with crisp clean sheets.
There was just enough parking for guests, we arrived back from an evening out at about 10pm and took the last parking space.
Having a laundry was also convenient as it also had an adjacent drying area.
The only slight problem for us was that there wasn't really anywhere too close to eat at, well not within walking distance so we had to drive. We drove to a really nice Italian restaurant, Esplanade, which was worth the short drive.
We walked to the beach, which isn't far at all. Only 5 minutes from the motel.
We did a circular walk of about 2 hours along the beach, to the view point through the cemetery and back along the road. A good 10,000 steps with a lovely view if yhe beach and ocean.
The lady on reception was very friendly, again when we saw her when we were checking out.
The only observation that I would make is that some guests left at 6.30, they weren't quiet and whilst that isn't the fault of the motel or their staff it would be nice to remind people that if you're leaving early others might be on holiday and might not want to be woken up by the banging of suitcases on the stairs and shouting across the car park.
