ASURE Brookvale Motel

We recently had the pleasure of staying at this delightful motel and was thoroughly impressed. From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by Alana and Scott, lovely hosts who went above and beyond to ensure our family had a comfortable stay after our long journey. The room was clean and tidy and warm. The bedding was ample and extremely comfortable. Our room came with an assortment of cooking utensils and had plenty of space for our family. The location of the motel is fantastic, it is a short walk away from the town center. This made it incredibly easy to explore the local area without having to worry about transportation. The hosts also possess a wealth of local knowledge, providing excellent recommendations for places to visit and things to do. I highly recommend this motel to anyone looking for a pleasant and accommodating stay at a competitive price. Thank you, Alana and Scott, for your outstanding hospitality and guidance!

Fantastic Stay – Highly Recommended! We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel. The place was spotless, beautifully maintained, and incredibly spacious. It was so good that we decided to return just a few days later! The owners were incredibly warm and welcoming, going out of their way to make us feel comfortable and accommodated. Their hospitality truly made a difference and added a personal touch to our stay. Overall, a fantastic experience, and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Highly recommended!

Alan's was the kindest hotel owner. She made sure we were comfortable and was quick with suggestions or recommendations for what to do and where to go in the area. The hotel was quiet with the exception of some traffic noise. There is a beautiful path along a creek right in front of the hotel into town. We don't usually like hotels, but this one was an exception because of the owners and it was so nice to leave our car parked and walk to everything.

Have stayed at a few Asures now which have been awesome unfortunately this one was a terrible experience. The disgusting smell from the kitchenette completely tainted the entire room, it was overwhelming. The room felt dirty and poorly maintained and had a filthy air vent in the bathroom. Towels were thin and worn out, there were no tissues or extra amenities provided. Even the toilet paper was thin and barely enough for a short stay. To make matters worse, there was constant noise from kids running around above, after 8 p.m. and again in the early hours of the morning, making it nearly impossible to get a good night’s sleep. Overall, the place felt disgustingly unhygienic and poorly managed. Definitely not recommended or worth the price.

I stayed at the ASURE Brookvale Motel for 4 nights in March and would happily stay there again. The owner/managers are helpful and responsive and the room was perfect for what I needed. The motel has a creek on one side which runs down to the lake and there is a green area between the rooms and the creek which adds to the ambience and feel of the place. Restaurants and shopping are close and you can access the lake by walking the three blocks away along a path which runs along the creek. There is a permanent food truck/landscaped picnic/dining area just across from the motel which has coffee and superb fish tacos.

Perfect location to explore Wanaka. Park your car and walk everywhere in town almost Be sure to use the pretty walking path directly behind the hotel. The room we were in (9) was awesome and had a great view. It was actually very quiet considering the hotel is set in a busy area. The pretty gardens behind the hotel make it feel very peaceful. The young lady at check in was very polite, friendly and helpful with a lot of great info for the area. Best places to eat - any of the food trucks right across the street and beside the hotel are great, Patagonia for great coffee and ice cream, Big Fig in town within easy walking. Wanaka is a great town to spend a few days. Close to lots of great hiking in Mt Aspiring Natl Park

Lovely place to stay. Hosts very helpful and friendly. Big room with great amenities. Close to centre of town and lake. Would stay there again.

We booked a three night stay for a wedding. Unfortunately a death in the family meant that we had to cancel the booking at very short notice. Brookvale was incredibly sympathetic and generous, refunding the entire cost of stay within a couple of days. I'm so grateful for their kindness.
