At Home At Chiang Mai

We loved it! This was by far the best room I had in 2 months traveling Thailand. It had a boutique hotel feeling to me with its attention to detail. They clean the room every day, make the beds and you'll get fresh white (cotton!) towels and not the microfibre ones as well as 2 bottles (glass!) of water. There's a big fridge, a tea station on every floor and a really nice bathroom with 2 different shower heads and enough hot water. The two single beds were big and comfortable and we slept really well. The owner is super nice and helpful. Nearby are some bars which we could hear at night but they were far enough to not disturb our sleep. The location is perfect right at the edge of Old Town with everything in walking distance and a great smoothie shop just in front of the hotel.

It was such a pleasure to stay at this hotel. The room had everything we needed, even two desks which can be used for working. All the facilities were functional, including great wifi. The room was spotless clean.

Well located with great staff. Very friendly and helpful. I’m amazed at how clean they keep it - my room was always spotless as was the shared areas of the hotel. If you are in a room facing the front, there will be some noise from the street but it wasn’t so bad as to disrupt sleep. This is my go-to place every time I come to Chiang Mai. I really do feel “At Home” at this hotel.

We decided in advance that part of our visit to Chiang Mai would be to try our different guest houses and hotels. This place fit our needs perfectly. ||We are vegetarians, and the guest house is very near quite a few restaurants where we could get vegetarian, vegan, or organic meals.||The managers were very friendly to us, and we also made friends with their small dog. The dog us so cute and friendly that police officers make a point to stop by and visit him.||We stayed in the smallest of the three categories of double rooms, but it felt large to us. ||They have very good desks for lap-top work. The wifi was consistently strong.||The facilities in the room overall are great, especially the bed and bathroom. It is very comfortable to stay here.||WE definitely plan to come back here the next time we visit Chiang Mai.

We were really pleasantly surprised by this hotel. I'd booked it last minute without the normal amount of research I put in, but it turned out to be great! The room was enormous, with a good sized bathroom and 2 small balconies. It was also exceptionally clean. The owners are very friendly but just generally leave you to get on with it- there's no restaurant/bar/tour service etc. Some people might see that as a downside, but personally that's how I like it in a city. The location is a big bonus. It's along the border of the old town (opposite the moat) about a 2 minute walk from the Thapae gate. Also, if you do stay here, please go to the Tiny Bar opposite (thats what its called, and it really is tiny) and say hello to Laa, from Tom and Emily. Stop and have a drink with her, she's hilarious and so friendly! Overall, we loved our stay here and would recommend it to anyone coming to Chaing Mai.

Nice little 4 story guest house on the edge of the old city wall. The location is extremely ideal and convenient. The front desk staff were also super friendly and helpful with local recommendations. Would definitely stay again for some affordable and well located accommodations.

I totally enjoyed the stay in this hotel. The host is extremely kind and helpful. We arrived very early with the night bus from Bangkok, and even though our room was not ready until 1 PM, she let us store our bags and refresh with a shower in her home. The room was very spacios, and furnished with high quality materials. There was a big frige with freezer and minbar available. The location is just perfect, very close to the night market and the walking food market as well. The hotel staff was very polite and they cleaned our room everyday. I would definitely choose this place again, next time I will be in Chiang Mai.
