Atala powered by Sonder

My partner had booked a room with a view and early check-in for my birthday weekend and valentines day. Unfortunately there was a maintenance issue and we couldn’t check in until 5pm, which then caused us to rush to getting ready for dinner as we had a booking that night. It wasn’t the most pleasant experience to say the least but it luckily was managed by the friendly and lovely receptionists. Hotel is at a good location, clean and the view was worth the 3 hour wait.

This time, we are a couple and booked [Sonder | Atala | Stunning King Suite + Eiffel Tower View] for 3 nights, and we also extended the check-out time to 2pm for 40 euros. In order to enjoy the beauty of the Eiffel Tower as much as possible, I went to the terrace every night to drink coffee and red wine, take photos and admire the Eiffel Tower. On the day of check-in, we arrived early and the front desk staff was very polite and helped to store our luggage until we came back to check in at 4pm. The explanation was very clear when we checked in, including the breakfast time, price, location, and other details. The service was considerate and worth recommending. The polite and attentive help of the staff made us very happy and left us a good impression. Finally, I must mention that the room we booked was very clean, tidy, with comfortable color matching, powerful shower, and amazing terrace, which was consistent with the pictures provided. We were not disappointed, but pleasantly surprised and appreciated. The terrace looks even more golden and sparkling at sunset, which is highly recommended!

1- When i ask for room cleaning and change the bed sheets they ask me for 40€ !!! This is the first time a hotel ask for money to clean the room, also the stuff they are not helping us. 2- When i need to call them in reception i need to call 5 times so they can answer me. 3- also the room was very hot and the AC hot when we ask the staff to make our AC higher they refused ( we stay 4 days with very hot AC and nobody cares)

My room had a ginormous tub and plenty of room, not typical for Paris at this price point! My refrigerator wasn’t working, so the staff held my items until a new one was delivered the next day. East checkin and out. A very short walk to Champs Elyse and shops as well as a metro station for easy access to the rest of the city! I would definitely stay here again.

Located just off the Champs-Elysee with views of the Eiffel Tower, what's not to love about this full service Sonder building! With an attendant at the front desk available 24/7, check in was a breeze and someone was there at 1AM when I needed to borrow a converter. The room and lobby area are very stylish. The free hot beverage machine was our first stop every day. A full breakfast was available as well. I highly recommend this Sonder stay!

it's my first time in Paris and I would say it's like I don't leave the comfort of my own home except of course the beautifully done interior design where I have my simple yet will prepared breakfast. The room is easthitically amazing with the city view and clean. If ever to come back in Paris I would definitely stay in sonder again. Thanks to the very welcoming and friendly stuff esp to Pascal and Mafoud. You guys are amazing! Merci!

Lovely hotel, great location. The staff were very friendly. The rokms were clean and cleaned daily. There was a fridge I the room also which was great. We didn't have breakfast there so I can't comment on that. I would definitely stay here again.

The all-important first impression of 'Atala by Sonder' was excellent. The heavy glass-and-wrought-iron front doors magically swing open as soon as you touch the handle. Slick! The main lobby is very stylish: all polished marble, chic lighting, and some elegant Apple-themed art by a local artisan. There's a large and very comfortable breakfast room off the main lobby, with a decent bkfst buffet available (extra cost). If the weather's nice, you can eat on an outside patio in the courtyard.||However, it looks like the Sonder's reno budget ran out before they updated the room we were assigned. It looked nothing like the photos on their website. The furniture was tired and rundown, with various chips and stains on some of the pieces. Long overdue for replacement. The in-room safe was the tiniest I've ever seen - it wouldn't hold an iPad, much less a laptop. However, the bathroom was bright and clean. Our room had both a tub and a shower stall (with a deluxe rainshower fixture and hand shower).||While the room was a disappointment, the location is superb, just a block off the Champs-Élyseés. There's a Metro stop (Line 1, George V station) right at the corner in front of the Apple Store, so it's easy to get to all the sights and sites in Paris.||The next time we visit Paris, I'd definitely consider the Atala based on the location. But before dragging luggage up to the assigned room, I'd first check it out to be sure it lives up to what's advertised on the website.||Breakfast tip - every morning we ate at the Washington Poste, a small café/bar that's a half-block away on Rue Washington. They have excellent croissants, espresso, juice, eggs and the like.
