If you are not particularly excited about the long queue at Georges Pompidou you might try this place, it's just in front of Pompidou, it's small, not too busy and free.
The Atelier shows the sculptures of the Romanian artist Constantin Brâncuşi, who lived and worked in Paris between 1904-1957. He left all his work to the French state mentioning that he wants his ateliers to be reproduced in the exact same way at the Museum of Modern Art - everything, from materials to positioning and lighting of the pieces was part of his vision.
The architect Renzo Piano designed the present location specifically for this collection of sculptures, tools, photography and drawings.
I am not a sculpture enthusiast but I still found myself fascinated by the fluid shapes. And correlating the names the artist gave to the sculptures and their shape wll open a world of wonders.
Definitely worth the visit!
