Absolutely incredible experience at Atelier Eva in Brooklyn at the 59 Grand St. studio. The studio is beautifully designed and feels like you’re walking into a high-end spa. At the front desk, Doug welcomed me in with such warmth and professionalism—he made the whole process smooth and stress-free. He also gave me some after-care tips which were incredibly helpful. Huge shoutout to Lauren, my tattoo artist, who is truly exceptional. This being my first tattoo, she took the time to understand exactly what I was looking for, offered thoughtful insights, and made sure I felt completely comfortable every step of the way. Her fine-line work is absolutely incredible and I really appreciated her calm, focused energy throughout. On top of her incredible skill, she’s just a genuinely kind and thoughtful artist who truly cares about her craft and her clients. If you’re looking for an elevated, meaningful, and beautifully executed tattoo experience, this is the place. Can’t recommend it enough!

Beautiful studio. It feels and smells like a spa. The skylights even adds the perfect serene space. The space is also so quiet that I didn't realize that there were about 5 other people getting work done as well. I got inked by Ash and she was amazing. Kind, funny, knowledgeable and also a rockstar artist.

I recently got a tattoo from Eva at her studio on Grand Street and the entire process was exceptional from start to finish. I know it comes up time and time again in reviews, but it cannot be overstated — from the moment you step into the studio at Atelier Eva, you feel as though you’ve entered into a spa. Eva has curated a truly incredible environment laced with tranquility. Everything from the furniture to the flow of the space, the gentle sound of moving water, the serene music playing, the ample natural light, the plants, and even the design of the bathrooms exudes serenity. I could not imagine a more comfortable space to get tattooed. Eva herself is a consummate professional. She took tremendous time and care to understand my intentions for my tattoo and imbued it with her own vision and style. Each step of the process exemplified the care and professionalism Eva brings to her art. This is my third tattoo (first from Eva) and getting tattooed by Eva was distinct in a few ways. First, I never felt rushed. From our initial consultation to the design process and finally the sizing and placement, Eva gave me the space and agency to feel confident in the tattoo. She encouraged me to take my time, consider my options and voice my questions and feedback to her. She is not only a talented artist, she’s a thoughtful collaborator who brought my vision to life. Unsurprisingly, this relaxed, no-pressure approach left me with a tattoo that I’m in love with. It’s more perfect than I could have imagined. Second, Eva has the most gentle touch of anyone who has tattooed me. Her delicate style of tattooing is so comfortable and relaxing that I actually fell asleep while she worked on the tattoo. As such, my aftercare and healing process was a breeze. I experienced minimal to no discomfort or bleeding in the days following my appointment and the tattoo has healed beautifully. Of note, the entire staff of Atelier Eva is just as incredible. They are professional, informative and contribute to the overall experience. Wendy helped me book and confirm my appointment and was patient and kind with addressing any questions, concerns and aftercare needs that I had. Thanks, Wendy! I cannot thank Eva and the entire staff of Atelier Eva enough. This was far and away the most luxurious tattoo experience I’ve ever had and I look forward to revisiting the studio at some point in the future. I recently got an incredible tattoo by Rob McDowell in New York. I’d admired his work on Instagram for a while and was thrilled to score a session when he was in town. The tattoo, from my upper arm to my lower part, is a beautiful piece of art that exceeded my expectations. It is one of his signature floral pieces and I had two butterflies added in color to represent my two nieces. Also had 222 added given its spiritual meaning to me. Overall I couldn’t be happier with the result! I’ve already received many compliments on it. The atmosphere at Atelier Eva studio was outstanding. The studio is impeccably clean and has such a calming and relaxing vibe that made the entire process even more enjoyable. Rob is not only an immensely talented artist but also professional and meticulous in his work. If you’re looking for a tattoo artist who can bring your vision to life with creativity and precision, I highly recommend Rob McDowell and Atelier Eva. This was more than just getting a tattoo—it was an unforgettable experience!

I wanted to let my tattoo fully heal before leaving a review, but I visited in early April and it was an amazing experience! You will NOT leave this place with a bad tattoo, the artists here are incredible. It's worth every penny and the scheduling was so easy. Lena was so kind and honest with my ideas, and the second the stencil went on, I wasn't nervous at all, I knew it was going to look great. It also healed perfectly with no pain or issues, and it still looks amazing healed! I definitely recommend Atelier Eva for your next tattoo.

The entire experience was amazing from start to finish. The space on Grand St is beautiful - feels like being in a sunlit spa - and is super clean and inviting. The people who work there are super kind and wonderful. I have been so excited to work with Lauren and she exceeded my expectations, came up with a wonderful rendering of what I wanted and executed the tattoo perfectly. Totally in love with it - thank you, Lauren! I can't say enough good things about the location and working with Lauren.

I got my second tattoo with Caotida at this beautiful spa - I mean - tattoo shop. I had a not so great first experience with tattoos at another well known shop in Miami, and was nervously giving this a second chance. Immediately upon arrival - stepping into the studio felt and looked and even smelled peaceful, calm, welcoming and comfortable. Caotida was such a sweet and talented artist, and I felt like I got the best experience possible. My tattoo is gorgeous - even better than I imagined, and I loved the space and Caotida so much I’m heading from south Jersey up to Brooklyn tomorrow for a last minute flash appt. Can’t wait. I definitely recommend this studio to anyone who is looking to be treated with full attention and customer service and willing to pay a little bit more for the service and the long term art on your body. 10/10

First & foremost, this tattoo shop is giving modern minimalist beauty. I enjoyed how I felt here, especially being the front desk personnel was super sweet & attentive. Great vibes! Here comes my gripe. My reason for giving 4 stars is due to my artist being about an hour behind, and I wasn't informed until after I arrived (I almost always arrive to all of my appts early). It would have made a big difference in my day & mood if I was called prior and informed of the delay, especially because I was super hungry (I could've planned to enjoyed some good eats in Williamsburg to enjoy passing the time). A little proactive communication could have definitely elevated my experience. The artist I chose was a resident artist from Korea, therefore I won't go into detail about his work. Overall, I'd come back.

Atelier Eva is pure aesthetic in terms of a tattoo studio. I've never seen a studio like this one. This is the newer location of the two. The booking process was so easy. There's a link on their website that you can fill out and the studio managers will reach out to you to set up a time for the preferred artist. After browsing their Instagram page, I reached out to Atelier Eva to set up an appointment with Hailey. All communications were done via email. I showed up to my appointment and Hailey showed me what she had drawn up and I was already super drawn in by her artwork. She gave me suggestions on what works and what doesn't and I appreciated her honesty. Pricing is fair considering the amount of detail Hailey put into the tattoo. I couldn't be more in love with my tattoo; it's definitely my favorite one so far. Thank you again!

My experience at Atelier Eva was absolutely unbelievable. My friend and I went for matching tattoos (mine black ink and hers white ink), and everything from making the appointment, to the reminders prior to the appointment and the appointment itself far surpassed any expectations I had. Pablo was an angel! His precision, professionalism, and humble nature made it truly enjoyable. Pablo sat with us before we started and made us feel comfortable immediately. I have never had a hand poke tattoo, and now I will never go back to machine. His talent is beyond and I would recommend him to everyone! The rest of the staff at Atelier was just as amazing; everyone was friendly, welcoming, and made you feel at home. The whole place was a dream, looked like an upscale spa, and smelled like heaven. I feel this review doesn't even do it justice. I will 100% be returning!
