The 10 Best Hotels in Cancun of 2024

"This adults-only all-inclusive is located just north of the Cancun Hotel Zone on the stunning and somewhat secluded Costa Mujeres peninsular coast. Atelier Playa Mujeres’ 593 suites were most recently touched up in 2021, just three years after the resort’s opening. Rooms start at a spacious 742-square feet, reach a whopping 3,000-square feet, and feature welcoming, warm yet sophisticated decor. This eco-friendly luxury resort also goes big when it comes to its many luxe amenities, and guests can work their way through menus at the all-included 13 restaurants and 12 bars on site, soak up the stunning oceanfront views in the 14,000-square-foot pool, and swing through the 18-hole Greg Norman golf course. It’s easy to see why this hotel landed a spot in our World’s Best Awards 2023. The resort’s signature restaurant, Maria Delores by Edgar Nunez, features seasonal menus with pre-Hispanic dishes and ingredients. Don’t miss taking a guided art walk through the property or splurge at the three-level 3,000-foot NUUP Spa." - Katherine Alex Beaven Katherine Alex Beaven Katherine Alex Beaven is a Los Angeles-based travel, food and drink, and culture writer. 14 Best All-inclusive, Adults-only Resorts in Mexico

"The adults-only Atelier Playa Mujeres is six years old, but it's still turning quite a few heads. This luxe, 593-key resort found its way onto T+L's 2023 World's Best list, and we love it for its spacious suites — entry-level rooms are 742 square feet, while the top-level Inspira Suite is a palatial 3,000 square feet. If you can pry yourself away from the oceanfront views and fluffy, cloud-like beds, you'll have 13 restaurants and 12 bars to explore. You'll swoon over the 14,000-square-foot pool; other top-tier amenities include the 18-hole golf course, triplex spa, and state-of-the-art fitness center." - Travel + Leisure Editors

Atelier Playa Mujeres

"This five-star gem with a rolling green golf course and tequila tastings opened in 2020. Its butler service and rooftop amenities like El Cielo sky bar make it a new favorite for milestone trips like big birthdays and bachelorettes. The on-site Mexican cuisine feels at home here. Set away from the busier strip of Cancun, it's a hidden gem with lots of Spanish-speaking clientele and a smaller feel than you might know in this resort area."

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Atelier! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Rodolfo and Cristal, our incredible butlers. They went above and beyond to make sure every detail of our trip was perfect — from arranging dinner reservations and in-room dining to sharing daily activity schedules and spa options. Their attentiveness and genuine care made all the difference. Whether it was checking in to see if we needed anything, surprising us with thoughtful touches, or quickly coordinating special requests, they were always one step ahead. The property itself is beautiful, but it’s truly the people like Rodolfo and Cristal who make the experience unforgettable. Thank you both for making our vacation so relaxing, personalized, and memorable. We can’t wait to return!

Just returned from Atelier Playa Mujeres and cannot find a single thing that could be improved - perfection! We have been to other all inclusive resorts and this far exceeded any other experiences. The resort itself is beautiful and feels like a luxe boutique. The food and drinks were by far the best we've had at a resort, and the service was top notch. There was always someone eager to help! We went in August and there was always plenty of chairs available by the pool and beach. An added benefit was there seemed to be far less seaweed than other resorts further south due to Isla Mujeres. The first 3 days, the water was crystal clear and beautiful, the last day had some seaweed but was still swimmable. Two employees stood out to us in making our experience stellar - Demarys by the pool and Adrian at Mercado 19 for dinner service. Demarys took the absolute best care of us by the pool, and made us feel like family - we made sure to sit in her pool area every day! Our favorite restaurant experience was Mercado 19 Mexican a la carte for dinner where Adrian was so accommodating in allowing us to sample as much as we could from the menu! He was kind enough to bring us plates with an assortment of items for our table of 4 to share to maximize what we got to try! I would return here without question.

My experience at Atelier Playa Mujeres was absolutely amazing. From the moment we arrived, the staff welcomed us with warmth and genuine kindness, making us feel right at home. Every team member showed a true passion for their work, always attentive to every detail and going above and beyond to make our stay perfect. I had the joy of celebrating my birthday here, and it was made even more special thanks to them. Throughout my entire stay, they kept congratulating me and surprising me with thoughtful little details, which made each day feel unique and unforgettable. The food was outstanding – every dish, from breakfast to dinner, was prepared with fresh ingredients and presented with a gourmet touch worthy of the finest restaurants. The facilities are spotless, with an elegant and modern design that creates a relaxing yet luxurious atmosphere. Without a doubt, this has been one of the best hospitality experiences I’ve ever had. I highly recommend Atelier Playa Mujeres and I’m sure I’ll be back.

Google
I’ll start by saying how incredible the staff is. They are so welcoming and friendly. They truly make this place what it is. Everyone we encountered was great. Julio, Christopher and Helmer down at the beach/pool were entertaining and made us feel like part of the family all day long. It’s a 45 min drive up from the airport, but it’s definitely worth it. Not only will you not have a bad meal, they don’t cut any corners. Each restaurant is like the best (or better) version of that cuisine in your hometown. I will recommend this place to everyone I meet who is considering taking a vacation somewhere warm.

We are just wrapping up another incredible stay at Atelier, and once again, this resort exceeded all expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and genuine hospitality that made us feel completely at home. The property is stunning…beautifully maintained, with luxurious rooms, breathtaking views, and a relaxing atmosphere that’s perfect for unwinding. What truly made this trip unforgettable, though, were Rodolfo and Alejandro. Their attention to detail, kindness, and proactive care elevated our experience from excellent to extraordinary. Whether it was just checking in on our needs or adding personal touches that made us feel truly special, they went above and beyond in every way. It’s rare to encounter such genuine dedication, and both Rodolfo and Alejandro are absolute amazing and a tremendous asset to the Atelier team. Atelier continues to be our favorite resort, and it’s because of people like them that we will keep returning year after year. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a luxury escape with a personal touch.

We recently stayed at Atelier Playa Mujeres and overall had a great time, but there were a few downsides worth mentioning. Pros: The air conditioning was fantastic and kept our room perfectly cool. The room itself and the hotel decor in general was beautiful. We especially enjoyed the food at the Italian and Asian restaurants, and breakfast was consistently good. The pool was incredibly relaxing, and the service by the pool served delicious food with quick, attentive service. All of the staff we interacted with were friendly and welcoming. The ice cream at the coffee shops was a highlight, absolutely delicious. Cons: Lunch hours vary between restaurants, which made it tricky to keep track of when and where to eat. Most of the drinks tasted like they barely had any alcohol in them. We had an issue with our airport transfer booked through the hotel as it never showed up (USA Transfers saved the day and was amazing). The Mexican food at Mercado 19 was surprisingly bad. Also, there’s no real gift shop; instead, there’s a boutique selling $3,000 dresses that look like they came from SHEIN, but nowhere to buy something simple like a cute T-shirt. We enjoyed our stay, but there’s definitely room for improvement in certain areas.

My mom & I came here to celebrate her birthday. It was an incredible experience. Our swim up suite was gorgeous, we really enjoyed having our morning coffee in our lounge chairs in our private little oasis. Every single staff member we have encountered has been beyond amazing. Our butler Hiram consistently went above and beyond for all of our needs. We adore him. This has exceeded any expectations we had, I would recommend Atelier over and over again.

This resort is literally everything you could want if relaxation is your goal — and it was ours. Every detail is thought out and executed to perfection, which is why we have now been twice. The resort has its own curated scent, which is amazing. The rooms are spacious and beautifully appointed. The restaurants are plentiful and delicious. We loved breakfast in Mercado19 each day, and Donovan took the BEST care of us. The spa is what literal DREAMS are made of. We had a couples massage with Alejandra and Yelsi, and they were both fantastic. Those ladies went out of their way to make sure our experience was phenomenal. We spent most of the day by the pool and had several servers who were all fantastic. Big thank you’s to Guadalupe and Demarys who just made us feel so special and cared for each day at the pool. Honestly, we just can’t say enough about the staff and how they take care or every single guest. ||This resort is worth the money. Go and enjoy!

Yelp
Wow! I had an amazing time here! My best friend loves this place, and became a member. I went with her and I can absolutely see why she loves it and has been 4 times. This resort was wonderful. The pools are great, the beach is amazing, the rooms are comfortable and great, and the food is incredible. You come home rested! I would say this place is wellness focused. There are as many people in the gym at 8am as there are the evening events. I was truly blown away by the food. Almost every restaurant even had a vegan menu! Everything was incredibly delicious. My favorites were the Mediteranean restuarant, the Italian restaurant, and the Asian restauarent. But everything was so delicious!!! The rooms were nice. We had a swim out pool. Our room was huge and beautiful. The bed was so comfortable, and I loved that there were a couple different pillow options. It was great sleep!!! The gym is great here. And there are so many different gym classes. I did more on vacation than I do at home because it was easy and fun! (I did pilates, stretching, aquafit, and TRX). The beach is beautiful. Soft white sand. Small waves. Mostly clear water. Perfect beach! (Oh and no one hassling you to buy things!) We sat in cabanas on the beach a lot of the time. It was amazing to have food and drinks brought to you on the beach! There are multiple pools and they're all great. I loved the rooftop pool, it had an incredible view! It was like nowhere else! (And again, it's great having drinks brought to you in the pool). There are plenty of athletic activities during the day. The entertainment team was wonderful! I really loved the outdoor classes, the bike tour, and the art workshop classes! Butler/concierge service was really nice (I can't tell the difference)! When I had questions about things, I'd just text it to them (in our What'sapp group). They booked us dinner reservations, and the bike tour. The staff here is really wonderful! Everyone was so kind, friendly, and helpful. Everyone spoke English! Shout outs: Our concierge/butlers were Cristal and Rodolfo, and they were incredible. Javier at Consentida was amazing (so helpful for me getting vegetarian food). The servers at the cabanas were great! The entertainment team was so fun and friendly, Keila, Marisabela, and a couple more people I can't remember their names. Olga and Arturo at the gym were such great instructors! Summary: This is a great resort in a beautiful location, with great beaches, drinks, and food. It's wellness not party focused. Gym classes are more interesting than evening entertainment. Staff and service are next level!

Yelp
We had a truly pleasant vacation experience at Atelier Playa Mujeres and started. We stayed for 4 days and 3 nights and visited to celebrate positive career changes and job promotions. I like the fact that it is a local, Mexican-owned and -operate resort. Our travel agent recommended it. We had a Junior Oceanfront Suite. I high recommend the Inspira membership which provides discounts through the resort, you own private pool, and provides you with a Butler/personal concierge who will handle everything for you from uploading your luggage, to adjustment dinner reservations, to helping celebrate a special milestone. This is a large resort and there will be lots of walking to prepare for that. We also went during a time of year when it is very humid but also very rainy, but that didn't really impact our enjoyment that much except outside activities on our veranda with our private pool. Were on the top floor and the resort has a lot of indoor-outdoor architecture where the outdoors is welcomes indoors, so you will feel the humidity throughout and the patio furniture on our veranda often was damp. The beach is beautiful but there are a lot of bugs, so you may want to take insect repellant with you. They have over 9 restaurants on-site. All of them good to excellent in rating. The staff here are excellent. There's also a convention center. They have open access to the cabanas on the beach but they are first come-first serve so to get a front row you need to be out there rather early--I'm taking 6 a.m. to 7 a.m. in the morning. Be careful about presentation that try to get you to purchase a membership especially if you are an American visiting and staying on the Inpsira side because they may target you to purchase a membership and bypass your travel agent which were were roped into but declined to move forward which may the presenters rather visibly upset. They are trying to make money for the business. We really felt that all of the amenities available to us were not really explained upfront when we checked it and we were piecemealed information through our stay and were surprised what we had available to us at time that were were never told about. All we know is what we are told and what is explained to us when booking but all of that onus is not on the travel agent---much of it is also on the property upon check in and I believe they don't really provide a lot of information upon check-in like a map on purchase because we didn't get one until mid-stay. We had a pleasant trip overall but they need to make some upgrades. We had some minor air conditioning noise issues and I recommend they have insect repellent in the rooms or at least on the beach because the mosquitoes seem to be rampant this time of year. They also need to offer golf carts for people who cannot walk long distance because other similar resources that are smaller have those capabilities. They also do not have access to subscription services such as Netflix, Hulu, or Disney Plus and it would be nice to use our memberships since they often say "Welcome Home, Family." They also need to be more expository upon check-in with everything that is available with your purchase and not spoon feed patrons information about their payment just to advance their business plan. Otherwise, it is a beautiful property in a beautiful setting and we had a wonderful that that was good enough and long enough for us for this trip's purpose.

Yelp
I booked this vacation late at night while I was in Europe at the end of June or the beginning of July. The process was easy, from the atelier website to selecting the room we would prefer. I found the corner suite room with the reservation and decided on that one. It was maybe 2-to three weeks leading up to my trip when I started receiving emails and steps from the hotel Atelier, and that's when I was put in contact with Armando, and Martin (Butler service) shot out to them, and they were superb before arrival. I exceeded the expedition even after arrival with quick replies to texts and helpful daily information about activities at the hotel. They booked a nice romantic dinner a day before my birthday, which was an additional cost, but the food was delicious and worth it. We needed more days because the food was delicious, and they had various restaurants and bars to try out. My problem was I didn't have enough days for all . If you want to try something, I suggest tasting Tequila with Sergio. It was so informative and helpful, not to mention the tasting. I'm not a drinker, but it sure did take a few while in his class, and I could say I walked out on my own instead of being carried out. It was also a smooth transition from arrival to meeting the driver outside the airport. They sent an informed email about what to do for us to meet the driver and what to do, which helped. The ride was smooth and didn't take so long, either. There was a bit of traffic, but it was not unbelievable. Pulling up to the hotel was beautiful. Even the arrival and being greeted by a hotel staff member with a drink and cold towel were pleasant. It was hot, but there was such a beautiful view walking in. Everyone we encountered at the hotel was so helpful and friendly that it made me want to return soon for a much longer trip. We also didn't get any money exchange and didn't need to. However, I would suggest bringing $1,5,10,20. Overall, I had such a fantastic time on this trip. Our reservation was a suite. If you end up in building three or walk over, stop by and get a drink from Rober Whatever room you get will be worth it because you will enjoy your stay. Dining at Maria Dolores was so good and a must-try

Yelp
This was my first time staying at an all-inclusive resort. The resort itself is beautiful and very close to the beach. There are some things that could be improved though for it being a 5-star hotel. Restaurant reservations: The hotel makes guests make reservations in advance to dine at most restaurants besides the buffets and despite half the restaurants being half-empty they were not flexible during dinner hours. It's hard to decide where to eat because menus are not posted online for the hotels. It would be easier to know what you're doing if you could research the restaurants ahead of time and maybe see photos of the food or drinks ahead of time. I know for some people they just want filler food, but for me food is important. Having 25 restaurants to choose from is daunting and there is nothing worse than a bad meal. Lack of Mexican food: The hotel has a wide-range of cuisines, but one of the weakest spots is actually Mexican food which was kind of surprising. The breakfast options are mostly American food. The Mexican dishes were uninspiring. Mexican is probably one of my top 3 cuisines, so it was disappointing to not see more of a focus on culture. Even a taco bar or burrito station would be fine. They did have a quesadilla stand that was okay and a chilaquiles stand which was also just okay. The focus was more on omeletes. The best meal I had was actually ironically a Spaghetti Carbonara and sushi. Even the themed restaurants could have more fusion type of dishes, but they do not. There was also not a huge selection of tequila or mezcal. Hotel room air control and temperature: The rooms are very nice inside, comfy beds and a nice patio setup. The rooms get very warm though and the thermostat was locked so we couldn't lower the temperature. When I asked room service if they could do anything, they said they are not allowed to alter the temperature. That's a little strange for a 5-star resort that is about $400-600 a night. It wasn't a big deal until we were going to sleep at night. It took the a/c unit hours to lower the temperature in the room and there was only one fan in the room. Hotel rules lack explanation: The resort has a vacation club called Inspira. They do not clearly explain to other guests what areas are for Inspira members or for regular guests. Guests cannot access the rooftop pool and bar until the evening and there is no signage so I wandered up the pool and then was told that I needed to leave. The same thing happened with the chairs on the ocean. Inspira members get front of the ocean views, but regular guests are hidden behind bushes. There is maybe one sign explaining this, but I didn't find out until a staff member told me I wasn't allowed to sit on the actually waterfront chairs. There is nothing wrong with having rules at the hotel, but they should be clearly explained at check-in and put in rooms for reference. Limited pool hours and drinking hours: The bars do not open until 10 a.m. There is no real reason for that since there are mimosas and champagne at the breakfast restaurants. We were at the pool from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. waiting for the bar to open. That does feel very American. The pools were open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. instead of from sunrise to sunset, which also kind of sucks because the pools look very nice at night and I wanted to take a nightswim, but I could feel glares from the staff if I was close to the pool. Needs more activities: There was not enough to do on the property for people who like to stay busy or be more involved culturally when they travel. If they did have an activity such as tequila tasting it cost more money and didn't really make sense when you can drink tequila for free anyway with the all-inclusive band. We were pretty bored by the 2nd day. The resort could invest in more features for guests to keep them occupied. The nightclub was a nice touch, but the playlist looped and clubbing isn't for everyone. OK. Now for the pros at the resort. Friendly staff: Most of the staff I encountered was friendly. Bartenders seemed happy to serve requests. Most workers seemed to like working at Atelier. Room service came quickly when called and the staff kept the room clean. Check-out was a breeze. Plenty of pool chairs: The hotel was not terribly busy when we were there, but I can see how it can become that way. That said, there were plenty of pool chairs and areas to sit between the two major pools. I could easily spend all day at the pools and was happy that they had a good amount of seating. Staff will also let you order food and drinks from the pool seating area, but I found it faster just to swim up to a swim-up bar and order drinks myself. Good liquor selection: I was impressed with the liquor selection at events hosted by the company who invited us and also by the selection at the bars around the resort. I was able to order Espresso Martinis at many bars as well as Aperol Spritz cocktails. Bartenders had a good range of drink knowledge.

Yelp
Amazing facility with a few bad eggs causing issues that can affect the whole trip. The three different women we dealt with in Reception were all bad experiences. The room we stayed in had a lamp that electrocuted us, there was a water leak from the ceiling and the AC and ceiling fan stopped working for an entire night of our stay. Ultimately the reception team was the weakest link which caused our bad experiences here.

Yelp
This was our second visit to this property, the last being May 2022. For some reason checking in seems to take a lot more time than it should but still about the same as some other all inclusive properties we've been to. We arrived about noon local time so grabbed some lunch at the Italian restaurant while we waited for our room to become available. By amount 1:30 we had wrapped lunch and just sat down in the Inspira area when we were informed our room was now ready. We had an inspira swim out room both times, this room however was about 10 rooms closer to the main part of the hotel which made this a bit more convenient for meals and a LOT quieter in out patio and private pool area as we were not right next to the main pool this time. As before all the restaurants were really good with the Asian restaurant (Takishi) perhaps being our favorite this time. The Italian was still good but they have changed their carbonara which was absolutely great and now it's not even proper carbonara. Los Abrazos was the same as last time with fair to good steaks. The prep and done-ness of then steaks is fine, the problem is the cuts of meat are not particularly great or consistent. That said I still enjoyed the 2 meals we had there but I wish they would tune up their sourcing on steaks. I saw wives trading their steaks with their husbands on both of our visits as the steak was just too tough but they didn't want to send things back. Our swim out room came with an Inspira upgrade which included our butlers Ping Ting and Alina. Our previous experiences with butlers were not very good but these 2 did a great job and provided just the level of service we needed without being intrusive. Whenever we needed help with reservations or anything else a call via WhatsApp was all it took. We saw them all the time in common areas and they always made a point I say hello and ask if there was anything they could assist with. The closest I could come to a complaint was with the watersports folks. We had low grade issues with them last time and again during this visit. While everyone else on property was very friendly and focused on the guests. Visits to the watersports box quite frankly gave the impression that you were a nuisance. An upside was that this was the first all inclusive that actually did something for our special occasion. Of about 10 other all inclusive property visits where we were visiting either during my wife's birthday or our anniversary Atelier is the only one that actually sent down an acknowledgement. In this case a bottle of champagne and a box of chocolates. Thanks to Atelier for actually following up after asking. Easily giving this 5 stars as the overall experience was really nice.

Yelp
Excellent hotel with hospitable staff, many activities, beautiful environment, and plentiful cuisine. I suffer from allergies and the aromatherapy infusion was so relaxing during our trip. I would definitely return in the near future. You definitely get what you pay for. 10/10!

Yelp
This a a difficult one to rate. The pools, the beach, and the grounds were fabulous. The servers and employees were all courteous and attentive. You weren't even done with your drink at the pool when they were asking you if you needed another one. The best bar by far is the one in the welcome lobby. The mixologist just whipped me up something spectacular one day. The restaurants , the few we tried. The food was delicious, not so much the desserts. The best food and dessert was at Los Abrazos. But it's not easy to get a reservation. On that note, don't try and be smart and try and eat dinner twice. If you made a reservation and decided to eat somewhere else first. They cancel your reservation. This did. It happen to me but saw it happen to someone else who tried to be slick and have dinner twice. The nightclub on our first night was over run with teens. Since they allow 16 year old in the hotel. So it's not exactly adults only. There should be a separate nighttime space for them. They also were not ID at the bar. Adults left because they were on the stage. The room was my issue. We were in building 3. Upon entering, Wow. The sliding doors that reveal the bathroom. Excellent concept. My terrace had food on it I reported it and they came that evening to clean it up. We had a cracked sink. Not issue because there are 2 sinks. Not a problem really. On our last night, the night of our anniversary we noticed a leak in the bathroom. The little toilet room. I had seen water in the corner before but didn't think anything of it. This time there was more and the drops were noticeable. I will put the picture, but it might be hard to see. We called at 11 pm. The maintenance came at 12 am. When he opened the ceiling, they had buckets in there to catch the water! So they knew there was a leak and still gave out that room. The man removed lots of water. Now there es water all over the floor. The cleaning lady came at 1 am to mop the floors. They never checked on us, or offered us another room so we could go sleep in while they "fixed" our leak. They just put the buckets back up. This was our last night and it soured our experience. We left with no contact from concierge.

Yelp
I've never been to an all inclusive before but after this experience, it'll be hard to go to a different one. It was too relaxing and I got a royal treatment that I'm not used to. It was unreal. Atelier Playa Mujeres is like the Willy Wonka factory of vacations, minus the Oompa Loompas (unless they're hiding in the spa). With all-inclusive perks that make you feel like royalty, you'll be tempted to crown yourself "King or Queen of the Beach." From unlimited gourmet treats to top-shelf drinks, it's like your taste buds won the lottery! Just remember, leaving might require a heartfelt goodbye to your new best friend: the infinity pool. Trust me, it's harder than saying goodbye to your favorite pair of sweatpants! The food was here and there but i heard it's one of the best for all inclusive. I'm a huge foodie and i wasn't a fan of about 40% of what i ate. My favorites were the restaurants by the pools and ocean to be honest! Oh yeah, and room service is exceptional

Yelp
We love Quintana Roo and have stayed in many different areas of the state. This time, we wanted to be near Cancun but also away from the bustling hotel zone. As a result, we located Atelier Playa Mujeres, which is about thirty minutes from Cancun. We discovered the Atelier Playa Mujueres is no run of the mill all-inclusive, and no offense to other all-inclusive resorts; some are better than others. After staying for eight days, we discovered the Atelier is special. In one sentence, the Atelier was amazing in all aspects! Here are some specifics: CHECK IN: Check in was a breeze, and they offered a welcome drink and cool towel. VACATION CLUB: Be aware they have a vacation club. A greeter will offer special meals and spa discounts if you attend the Inspira Club Membership presentation. The membership is basically paying for Atelier vacations in advance at a discounted rate and also having access to all of the Inspira Member benefits. If you plan to return to the Altelier in the future, the lowest price club option might be for you. Note: The Inspira Club access and Inspira level rooms can also be purchased straight away from your favorite booking site. Regardless, all of the rooms are awesome! ROOMS: The rooms are unique. They all have a bathtub in the middle of the bathroom, and the fixtures are top shelf. There are ocean and resort view rooms, along with huge suites and rooftop deck options. If you part of the club, you can select your pillow type and room fragrance. Under bed lighting is present, which means navigating in the middle of the night is much easier. FOOD and DRINKS: The food at all of the Atelier restaurants was incredible. There are many options, and none of it was basic filler food. Incredible and diverse options for sure. The drinks were awesome. At some of the bars, they refer to bartenders as mixologists. We were lucky enough to meet a famous mixologist from Mexico City named Claudia Cabrera who was a guest mixologist for one night, and she was awesome! Regarding the alcohol, they actually have brands you will recognize; many all-inclusives do not. ACTIVITIES: The Atelier had a sailboat, paddle boards, and bicycles available for free. BEACH, CHAIRS, TOWELS, and CABANAS: The beach was very nice. The water was warm, and the water color was pleasant. We didn't experience any seaweed during our stay. There were plenty of chairs, towels, umbrellas, and cabanas. The beach staff will also assist you with finding a spot and moving chairs and umbrellas around. WHAT ELSE: The Atelier is adults only, but there is a connected building called the Estudio for families. If you are staying at the Atelier, you can eat at all of the terrific restaurants on the Estudio side. If you are staying on the Estudio side with kids who can take care of themselves, you can eat on the Atelier side. I highly recommend the Atelier Playa Mujeres. We can't wait to go back!

Yelp
What a STUNNING experience here. Every single minute of my stay felt like paradise. This was my very first time at an all-inclusive resort and it definitely surpassed my expectations! When I first arrived on the property, the staff was there to collect my bags and fully sanitize them to Covid regulations. I then was bought into the lobby area where I was greeted with a refreshing welcome drink, and the check-in process was so seamless. You receive a woven bracelet with capabilities to let you into your room, so the bracelet is your room key. I thought that this was really innovative. While I waited for my room to be completed, I sat at the lobby bar and had really great margaritas. The bartender was lovely. The room I chose was an ocean view junior suite, with a king-size bed. The room has a spacious balcony, great lighting, and a step-in tub. I'll just have to say that this room was such a delight to be in. The mattress was brand new, the channels on the TV were plenty, sometimes I go to different countries and you don't get access to the same channels that you have back at home, so it was nice that those were available to me if I wanted to watch them. The restaurants were fully capable of giving you anything your heart desired. I had amazing meals. Every single meal I had was delicious. From the Italian food to the Indian soup I got at the Asian restaurant, and my favorite place of all time El Suspiro the Mediterranean-inspired seafood restaurant. There were days on the trip when I could not believe that I was actually staying here. My favorite meal of all time had to be the Seabass at lunch. A full-fried fish, just how I like it. So flavorful and again the staff was amazing. During my stay here, I, unfortunately, lost an AirPod, just one! You can imagine my panic as I realized this happened on my very last day. But the staff was really kind, and they did their best to help me find it. We never end up ended up finding it, but the fact that they were willing and able to assist, someone even offered to walk around the property with me and retrace my steps just to find that AirPod. I was really grateful for the effort. I don't care what anybody says, this property is immaculate. Every single common area smelled amazing, the staff was attentive, and I had the best time here. I even ended up extending my trip one more day because I didn't want it to end, that's how much fun I was having, and I felt really valued here.

Yelp
Just spent 4 wonderful days/nights at Estudio Playa Mujeres (the family side of Atelier). What a visually stunning hotel with phenomenal service. We were there for part of spring break. I didn't want to go to a raucous resort since we have young kids and wanted a relaxing vacation. I am so happy to have found Estudio! First off, the rooms are stunning. Lots of hardwood and stone everywhere, super modern fixtures. Comfy beds and lounge chairs. I booked a "terrace king" Inspira suite through JetBlue vacations, and they put us in an Inspira baby suite. We didn't need the crib, but as there was a sofa bed for my kids, I considered the baby suite an upgrade as the room was 50% bigger than the standard terrace or swim up suites and the terrace was was at least 50% bigger than the Inspira terrace suites. I think Inspira was worth the upgrade as the Inspira pools at both Estudio and Atelier were so much better, and it was nice to have the option of making reservations and eating at restaurants on both sides of the resort. Service was also better when the staff saw the Inspira bracelets. The food at the resort was beautifully presented and better than most all-inclusive resorts, although I think I preferred the food at Paradisus Playa del Carmen better. However, the drinks were much better at Estudio/Atelier. Much higher quality alcohol and mixers, much better bartenders. The bartender at the swim up bar on the Estudio side, Daniel, was phenomenal. Get the passion fruit mexcalito. It is SO GOOD. The kids club was excellent. My 6 year old would wake up in the morning wanting to know when he could go to kids club, and he would ask to stay through lunch and dinner. They do all sorts of activities ranging from arts and crafts to swimming to treasure hunts to star gazing. The service was always wonderful. The staff was so friendly and competent. I had read that the resort aggressively pushed their vacation program (sort of like a timeshare presentation), but we did not experience this. COVID stuff was very good too. The staff is always masked (and they actually wear their masks properly). Guests are required to wear their masks at the buffet. There is COVID testing on site. The rapid antigen test was included with our package (not sure if it is for all guests), and we got our results within half an hour. I believe there's insurance for guests built into their room rates too, which is comforting. I look forward to returning to this beautiful resort.

Yelp
This all-inclusive resort is AMAZING!! They set the bar very high for other all-inclusives in Cancun. We went during their soft opening 2 years ago for 5 days/4 nights (right before COVID started) and were able to stay in a beautiful rooftop suite. Food, drinks, service, and entertainment were all perfect. If you have the budget for it, I highly recommend getting the Inspira Rooftop Suite with the heated plunge pool. While not all of the rooftop suites were Inspira when we went, I believe that Atelier now only offers the Inspira package with these suites. You'll get breathtaking views of the ocean sunrise, sunset, and cloudless night sky dotted with stars, while hanging out in your own private enclosed rooftop area. I loved chilling in the plunge pool at various times during the day, but being up there at night, when you can hear the crashing waves and look up at the countless stars and constellations, was an incredible experience. There's even a full bathroom up on the roof, with an outdoor shower to rinse off after using the plunge pool. Every restaurant had incredible food, and the quality was the best I've had at any all-inclusive resort. There is a wide selection of cuisine for every meal, including buffet-style & restaurant-style dining or room service ordering. The breakfast buffet was my personal fave because it had a mix of traditional Mexican fare, fresh fruit, and typical American breakfast favorites. The croissants and Mexican hot chocolate are a must-get there! Also be sure to check out the steakhouse! There's plenty of entertainment and activities available all day (& night) long. We loved exploring and finding cool, new nooks and crannies, especially the working old-school pinball machine, tucked away in a corner, that we spent hours playing. And don't worry if you don't speak any Spanish because almost all the employees speak fluent English. They love making conversation and are super friendly and welcoming to all the guests. (Spanish will get you brownie points with them though lol.) Finally, while everything in the resort is included in the pricing, be sure to bring cash so you can tip all the hard workers who make the resort experience unforgettable! U.S. denominations work just fine, so there's no need to exchange them for Mexican pesos. Pro tip: Their champagne was great and is a good drink option if you want to switch it up from the sweet piña coladas and daiquiris but still want to make your vacay feel special!

Yelp
We stayed for a long weekend it it was an amazing experience! Our Butler, Carlos, was outstanding. So polite, easy going and helped us with anything we needed. The staff does a great job keeping the property organized and ready to go for the guests, they are also so friendly and hospitable. We did the bike tour with Santiago who was knowledgeable and funny. We were with a group of friends for a 40th birthday and despite us being a little rowdy, the staff was very accommodating and helpful. I would give this resort a 10 out of 10. Great job!

Yelp
The best all-inclusive food you will ever have. The best drinks are at the sky bar with the mixologist Alberto. You MUST seek him out for all of your drinks. The staff is hit or miss much like everywhere else. I don't like how some pool staff leave empty bags on the chairs to make it seem like the cabanas are taken. Then if you give them a tip they miraculously find an empty spot for you. All the restaurants here have been great. However, on the last night, at the Italian restaurant, the server was very pushy for us to buy a bottle of wine and when we refused (after 4 or 5 times saying no) he was visibly upset us the rest of the evening. Furthermore, the menu states they have a lobster and pasta dish but in all actuality it was shrimp. I couldn't help but wonder if it was the server doing that on purpose. Otherwise, no complaints with the food. Sucks there is construction going on close to the property and it's loud, but that's not the hotel's fault. What is their fault is playing music in the halls 7:30am waking me up. The walls and doors are a little on the thin side. I would still come back here for the food and Alberto's drinks. Other negative is the front desks heavy push for you to listen to their talk about buying a timeshare, but if you've been to any all-inclusive you know that's the deal everywhere.

Yelp
Travelers Beware!! Horrible!! We had one day of relaxation before we had to evacuate. I will say that yes, the property is stunning BUT it is so unbelievably boring. We were recommended this resort for our first anniversary trip and wanted a more laid back location. There was absolutely nothing to do in the evenings except for eat dinner and drink. The beach/pool areas became desolate and dark with no lighting after the sun went down. The only entertainment was one guy playing a string instrument outside of the sports bar. We checked in around 4pm and were subjected to 6+ conversations of them trying to sell us their timeshare gig. It was exhausting and I literally had to tell the women ENOUGH, we are not interested. Our room was beautiful and clean - we had an inspira swimout on the first floor of building 2. There was no view and the water in the pool was freezing and dirty. We paid $1000+ a night for this room and did not feel it was worth it. The dining situation was a nightmare. You couldn't get into any restaurants except for the buffet because they have a reservation system that only allows you to make reservations for 3 nights. The buffet was so bad. We did get into the Italian restaurant but that was also gross - my pizza was raw. The beach was nice but there was no available beds in the Inspira section. The employees brought over two chairs for us to enjoy but they put us right on the edge of the inspira section and there were KIDS in the regular beach area!!! I thought this was an adults only resort!!!! We moved to the inspira pool and it was impossible to get a server to get drinks or food. We were told we'd have to swim to bar or go to restaurant to eat but we were also told we could get food at the pool, just had to find a server. Now for the fire. This place is a safety nightmare. We arrived on 3/23 and was supposed to leave on 3/26 but our vacation was interrupted because of the property fire on Fri 3/24. We went to bed early because of how boring the resort was so we were woken up by the doorbell being rung like a drunk person was doing it. We looked through pep hole and no one was there so we went back to bed. A few minutes later an employee opened our door and yelled FIRE while we saw smoke from the hallway. While we ran out we pulled fire alarms and no sound came from them. No fire alarms went off at all or any flashing lights. Employees broke the glass to get the fire hoses out and no sounds. In our PJs we were evacuated to pool area. Hours later we were told to move to building 3 where the smoke was blowing directly into our faces. We inhaled smoke for 3+ hours. We sat outside building 3 for until 430am until finally buses showed up and employees told us to get on and that we would be taken to a hotel. They didn't know which hotels. We got on the bus and went to three different Riu hotels before finally they found one and we got our rooms. They told us to stay at Riu until someone contacted us. Well, at 8am we haven't heard anything so we went to the lobby and found other evacuees. We paid for a taxi on our own and went back to Atelier to get our belongings. They told us we weren't allowed to yet but we had medicines that we needed. We grabbed our things and left to go back to Riu. Riu told us that we would only be there for one night and needed to find other accommodations. NO HELP FROM ATELIER. We booked Majestic Elegance by ourselves for $1700 , unreal pricing. We finally received our refund from Atelier for the 3 nights not stayed after fighting with them about the refund. At first they weren't going to give us a refund and wanted us to accept a 3 night stay voucher for a standard room. They sent us to the Riu with hundreds of kids and wanted us to be satisfied with staying there after we paid $1000 a night for atelier. NO WAY. I would never go back here even if they paid ME. Never, never again. They had no evacuation plan and put safety of all guests at risk!!! They said no employee or guest was hurt - how do they know that? They never once checked in with us, no calls even though our phone numbers were given and uploaded. HOW DO WE GET A REFUND FOR OUR OTHER ACCOMODATIONS?!?!!?

Yelp
BEWARE do not stay here, visit XCARET ARTE INSTEAD. This is a beautiful property, it's too bad they can't get their customer service in order. DOUBLE CHARGES: We booked four rooms and ITZEL from INSPIRA CONCIERGE DOUBLE charged one of our rooms.. We left the resort on November 11 and it is now December 14 and we still have not been able to receive a response from the hotel, much less any form of refund. NUUPSPA: My experience was good, but one in our group again was overcharged and she is still dealing with that. INSPIRA STATUS: 0/10...not worth it... you don't get any special service other than a silly "pick your room smell" at check in.. and you pay so much more for this "status." If you choose to stay anyways, just save your self a few bucks and don't do inspira. María Dolores: 2/10...Getting a reservation is a joke. You pay so much money to be here that you'd think they would have a way of figuring out a reservation for you without having to wake up every day at 7 am to be at the front desk making a line to hopefully get a dinner spot. Pools: 8/10....Pools were nice but nothing special that you can't find at BETTER RESORTS like XCARET ARTE Beach: 4/10....AWFUL.. lot of seaweed "Inspira beach section": 0/10SMALL AND NOTHING SPECIAL Food: 9/10 Rooms: 8/10 The resort is beautiful, their food is great, rooms are lavish... but when you are on vacation, customer service plays a big role. Aside from them double charging them, we were overall disappointed with the customer service. We were LITERALLY OVER TIPPING PEOPLE to see if we could get better service, and nothing. We were a group of 9, and when we were in the pools we were told several times to be quiet. We were not loud, we were all adults and had my parents with us... Overall, this place is a joke, save yourself the heartache, still waiting to hear back from their poor excuse of a team.

Yelp
We just returned from a fabulous relaxing week here and its as impressive as the reviews said. Long story short loved it and hated to leave. Biggest downfall is it sets the bar high .. other resorts will fall short. This had thecperfect vibe for us. We do alot of traveling and only go to adults only when going all inclusive. We did a swim up 2145 which was great location near pool and beach. Some of the rooms are a distance from the main pool and the beach ... loved our spot. Resort was pretty flat and walkable. The resort is 3 yrs old. The food drinks and service were extraordinary. The room was huge quiet and comfortable. The bartender are great and fun to watch. I recommend the tequila tasting..its free but you need to sign up ahead. The main bar at nightbis outside the theater ..the best bartenders ive ever seen at an all inclusive. The do craft cocktails with showmanship. Alberto was the master and took care of us. He also did the tequila tasting. Personally the Atelier side is byvfar the best... the rooms pools.. restaurants. The estudio side that allow children would not have met my expectations. Estudio people can come over but not with anyone under 16. The offer a free bike tour but it wasn't what i expected. U have to get reservations. Might see an big gator but we werent lucky. Food was so of the best id even had at all inclusive. Def get the filet at the steak place .. all the appetizers are delicious. Alot of places the Italian is not good ... not the case here. In general the portion are small so might need to order a few apps and not enough to share. Room service was under an hour and large selection. Nice beach. Sand was powdery and fairly white. Thry claim nobsea grass ...they try to keep it cleaned up but it endless. There are spots without grass in ocean ...but not much. Ocean in Mexico usually too much wave for me ... the island breaks up the waves which i loves. Went out in their free sail boat to the area no sea grass. With boat had anchor and ladder so could have got out to swim. Saw sea turtles and a fox... of course iguanas. There is a fancy gourmet restaurant you getc1xfree visit if you stay 7 nights but getting a reservation wasnt easy. They tried but it wasnt our kind of place. Only meal we didnt like. But if u like that type u may live it. It was worth a try. But we agreed ..that was one place 1 time was enough. Great sunrises and sunsets in front of resort. They have some entertainment at night .. some of it was good. We appreciate having shows at night but they didn't have something every night. Casino nightvwas fun. Play wit play money. There was some sunscreen at beach but def bring your own and aloe.. bug repellent. I got several bites in the morning before breeze started. Most times had nice breeze. It was lovely there. Alot to love here. The tub and shower are huge. Best water pressure. Staff are the best.. no language barrier. Hardworking. Great attitude. Actually have food andvart from Mexico. Upscale alcohol. Deserts actually good. Covid policy was impressive. Only issue. Check in wasnt so smooth but we had a later flight. The room they took us too itcwas so loud couldbt hear them. Because itcwas later they didnt give us the pillow selection and scent choices. Our bedroom never had the magic smell we read about. Then days later Our room key stopped working abd wevhad to go to front desk as a big group were waiting to check in. That was a hassel and they initially didnt handle it great. They initially expected we wait till the end but we said didnt want to wait an hour to fix something that shouldnt stopped working.

Yelp
This resort is AMAZING! Seriously! My husband and I stayed here for one week and had the best time. The service was spectacular. We tried each restaurant and bar, and everything we had was high quality. The beach was clean and the pool seemed to always have something fun happening (volleyball, etc). In the evenings there are musicians and live acts/shows. Our room was clean (and cleaned daily), and it had all the amenities. The spa was one of the best I've ever visited. If you are looking for a place to relax and unwind from the hustle and bustle of life, I highly recommend this place!

Yelp
Wonderful experience as an Inspira guest. There was no wait for the restaurants with the reservations made. The food was excellent at Maria Dolores and The Chophouse. The spa was excellent and so relaxing I went more than once. The room was spacious and the entire hotel was well Maintained, stylish and clean.

Yelp
I really wished to love this place. Booked an ocean view double junior bedroom for my parents for four nights, and unfortunately the room was located next to the El Cielo lounge. Their music is so loud, and it's open til 1am. So be prepared to not get a good night's sleep - it will keep you up until 1am. Reported it to the concierge, and nothing was done. I can hear them through my Bose noise-cancelling headphones and airpod pro. Very unfortunate for having paid over $800/night. I would not return or recommend.

Yelp
We had an incredible honeymoon here and cannot wait to go back! I am deducting one star because there were some issues with business hours and communication (not language related) that led to some frustration. All in all, though, it was an amazing experience and we would highly recommend to anyone looking for an all inclusive. This was my first all inclusive experience and I could not be more pleased with it. I am such an active person on vacations, wanting to plan and explore, so I worried I would grow restless with ten days in one place, but there was truly so much to do that we easily could have stayed longer. We stayed busy with kayaking, tequila tasting, catamaran sailing, and snorkeling. Here's a quick breakdown of some of the main features: ROOMS: We stayed in a junior king suite ocean view. It was beautiful and perfect for our stay. The beds are very comfortable and set up in the middle of the room. Plenty of space for storage which was great for us to fully unpack since we were there quite a while. The balcony was large and had two comfortable chairs on it. We had a great view of the ocean and golf course. The bathroom is also spacious and has rolling doors so it can be opened up or closed off accordingly. Deep soaking tub and walk in shower. We had no issues with our room during our whole stay and housekeeping did a great job cleaning and restocking every day. RESTAURANTS: One of the main complaints I had heard about all inclusives is that the food gets old after a while and is not great. Not so here. We didn't have a single meal we didn't care for. The breakfast spread is incredible. I looked forward to getting up and having breakfast every day, and they change up some of the made to order specials each day. Some of our favorite spots were the Italian restaurant Cilento, Sushi restaurant Kopai, and the bar food at El Cielo the rooftop bar. But in reality, we did not have a bad meal. Los Abrazos the steakhouse was probably our least favorite because of the meat quality, but even that all of the appetizers and cocktails were great. I would also recommend eating at Maria Dolores, the paid restaurant on site. Even if you cannot get the meal free through a promotion, it is well worth it as it is a beautiful experience with incredible food. DRINKS: On prior trips to Mexico, we would be burnt out on drinks after a few days and unable to stomach the citrus of margaritas, but the drinks on site are so good, we never grew tired of them. Premium alcohol and many talented mixologists on site. Our daytime drinks were usually mango margaritas and tequila shots, which tasted very fresh and high quality. However, when we were in the mood for craft cocktails, it did not disappoint. The lobby bar and bar de la calle were our favorites. Carajillos and espresso martinis were some of our favorites. POOLS: There are so many pools to hang out at and the service at all of them was great. I would not recommend doing one of the swim up suites just because the service is so good and there are so many options to spend time at pools on site. I would recommend upgrading to Inspira access if you can because the rooftop pool is the perfect place to spend the day. Great views of the whole property + ocean, smaller atmosphere, infinity ledge, daybeds, and very top notch service. Plus, as I mentioned, their bar menu is great. The main pool will look crowded but they do a great job managing the crowds, waiting on everyone, and finding you seats that work for you. The relaxing pool off building 3 also had great food and was less crowded. Really you can't go wrong. ENTERTAINMENT: This is probably a weaker point for the resort. We did karaoke night and there were a lot of technical difficulties, and we made it to the disco one night. While the music was great, there was not much of a turnout. We made so many friends we did not feel like we were missing out by not having great entertainment, but had we been wanting to pass our nights at the shows, we may have been disappointed. ACTIVITIES: They do a good job offering a variety of activities each day so we did not grow bored of them after staying more than a week. There was some frustration in scheduling them as the app said one time and the wall advertisements said other times, but luckily we stayed long enough to be able to catch the next day offering the same activity. The tequila tasting was somewhat informative and good to meet people. Nothing groundbreaking but fun. The kayaking was similar. It was a quick trip out onto the ocean but we learned some fun facts. The excursion we booked through our vacations rep on site was amazing. We had a great time snorkeling, sailing on a catamaran, and exploring Isla Mujeres for a few hours. Definitely a highlight of the trip. SPA: The spa was another highlight of the trip. We did the hydrotherapy circuit one day which we really enjoyed, and I did an 80 minute massage one day. Probably the best massage I've ever had.

Yelp
This is foodie heaven. I think we found the perfect resort, with the most amazing staff and incredible food. No expense was spared on the rooms, all the finishes are high end. Most rooms have ocean view and some even have plunge pools on their balconies or roof top terraces. The infinity pool view is breathtaking and the beach is clean, long and quiet. The property is very secure, gated with several guarded entrances. Cant wait to go back.

Yelp
UNSAFE! You never imagine your very first night, only one dinner in, that before even getting to lay on the bed, you would be evacuated due to a fire after 10pm. There were no alarms, only staff telling people to go to the pool or the beach (the ones who didn't just run away). They later knocked on every door individually(again no alarm!) and left the rooms open. Thank god it wasn't a fast-spreading fire! So imagine an entire massive resort worth of people trying to occupy every bench and pool chair and cabana they can to get some rest. The power was cut to the whole hotel which meant no WiFi. No service. And this place is somewhere that you could walk somewhere else. No water, or food or blankets. The staff was only blocking entrances. People finding corners of the beach to use pee since there was no bathroom access. We were not able to get back into our rooms for our belongings to find a new place to stay even if we could. and spent the night cold on the Beach, in a cocktail dress. It was windy and sand pummeled us from every direction. The following morning there were busses to take us to new hotels. We were scattered all Over, some people an hour away. Our bus took is to the wrong hotels two times before taking us to another who wouldn't have rooms for us until 3pm (this was around 8am). Still in our party dresses, hungry, exhausted, emotional, phones dead, in another country, and as a nursing mom I hadn't pumped all night - which moms will understand! The only thing being "offered" to us now is a voucher to come back again! zero compensation or refund for our horrific experience. We already took all the time off, paid for flights, booked this place, spent months planning childcare, travel, outfits, activities and have this experience. They closed for months after and are now sending marketing that they are re-opening all remodeled. HA! Hopefully they installed fire alarms and have an evacuation plan now...

Yelp
Currently sitting at the airport waiting to fly back home and already missing this amazing resort. We went as a group of 8 to celebrate several birthdays, we are all in our mid to late 30s/early 40s. We stayed a total of 5 nights, and it felt like the perfect amount of time. A few things that stood out the most to us and made our trip so memorable: The Staff: Ricardo at the pool/beach area. He was amazing. By day 2, he had memorized all of the drinks our group was drinking. Our drinks were never empty, he kept us fed all day with amazing quesadillas, spring rolls, salsa/guacamole/chips, and nachos. Always made sure we had lots of cold, bottled water as well. Even if he was not working in that particular section that day, he made multiple stops by to make sure we were taken care of. He was just absolutely the best. Luis at the pool/beach area. Kept us stocked up with towels. Not only for our chairs but also an extra for our necks. He would stop by multiple times a day to polish our sunglasses, spray our faces with a cooling mist, and chat and joke around with us. We wanted to pack him up and take him home with us. Daniel at La Cantina/Lobby Bar. The sweetest man ever. We made sure to stop by and see him every night. He makes the most delicious cocktails and also kept the guys entertained for about 3 hours one day while all of the girls did a spa day. La Cantina had lots of board games and a huge TV. The Food: The food was 10/10 at Atelier. So many different options. Some favorites were the breakfast buffet, shrimp tacos and ceviche at lunch, and Cilento (Italian) for dinner. Room service was also available, as well as a menu by the pool. The Room: Beautiful ocean view, blackout curtains, refrigerator always stocked with cold water bottles, soda, beers. The bathroom was beautiful- had a huge rain shower head and a tub. The temperature in the rooms was perfect and the beds were very comfortable. Atelier as a whole was just amazing. We decided we will already go back next year. We never left the resort, but there was an easy ferry to take into Ilsa Mujeres if you wanted to go into town. The resort itself had options for water sports, all sorts of activities/classes, a gym, spa, shopping....literally everything you can think of! We can't wait to be back!

Yelp
Fabulous adults-only resort. Relaxing, upscale. Food and beverages are GREAT for an all-inclusive property. This resort DOES need to improve on 2 things: 1. Dinner reservation system is nonsense. They run their restaurants at less than 50% capacity and since this is a growing convention hotel, they book out many tables for conventions ahead of time. I ate at prime time at almost all restaurants that are in high-demand, and they were typically less than 50% full. For a high-end resort, either allow reservations when I book my trip or make this process easier. This kiosk showing all restaurants booked for 3 days out is annoying. 2. People waking up at 4 am to reserve pool and beach chairs. I don't need this stress on my vacation. Most chairs sat vacant ALL day with nothing but a magazine. They can do better. Or at least allow cabana chair reservations for a fee for those of us that don't want to wake up at 6 am on vacation to find a pool chair. 3. This resort does not cater well to larger groups - you can't reserve tables for more than 4 people, and the restaurants seem resistant to put tables together.

Yelp
Had a fantastic stay in the Inspira suites. The facilities were mesmerizing only to be topped by the service. One evening we did the Tequila tasting with Sergio who was so knowledgeable about tequila and totally changed the way I will drink it moving forward. The two hours with him flew by! Most importantly thanks to our concierge Marseille who really made our trip happen. No request was impossible for her. Anything we needed was always available! Would definitely come back and recommend to anyone considering it. The food, the accommodations and the custom service are something that will not be forgotten! The devil works hard but Marseille works harder!

Yelp
Atelier Playa Mujeres all inclusive resort examplifies customer service of excellence. I stayed here for 5 days and 4 nights, and am in awe of the service and experience they offered. What I cannot fathom is how they only have a mere 4 stars instead of 5 on Yelp? From service, amenities, to cleanliness and food, everything was exquisite. Located in a secluded region, away from the tourist-y hotel zone, the 5 star all inclusive resort will give you a memorable experience for life. Service: From the moment we arrived at the resort, we were greeted with utmost friendliness. Bell desk and Front desk were courteous and knowledgable, answering all our questions regarding the resort and covid protocols. Bell desk will give you a quick tour as he takes you to your room, but since there is so many places to cover, you won't be able to remember all of the info covered. F&B staff were all extremely attentive and friendly as well. Very well trained staff and seemed like they take a lot of pride in the resort. With that said, even though almost every single employee we encountered were pleasant and friendly, some employees stood out and deserves some recognition. Yossei from the Bell Desk, Issac from the Spa, Marcos from the pool, and the tall skinny barista who works nights at the coffee shop, thank you all! Envionrment: Atelier is huge. You will spend a good amount of time exploring the place. Every corner of the resort is well kept, minimal dust and mess. The resort is stellar when it comes to environmental cleanliness. There is also music playing at almost every corner of the resort except for the beach and the room areas. The volume is kept modestly, and different type of music played to fit the different area of the resort. Essential oil diffuser is used everywhere as well, the moment you enter the resort, you will be met with a pleasantly light fragrance. Food: Food is pretty amazing. Exceeded my expectations by a mile. The resort offers everything from your poolside taco joint to a restaurant mimicking a fine dining experience. And since this is an all inclusive resort, all bars and restaurants are included in the price you paid upfront (except for one). Food tasted flavorful and fresh. Since there were so much dishes consumed during our 5 days here, I won't go into the details but I have to say you won't be disappointed. I do want to note that the restaurants do feel like they are missing just a bit of something when compared to your regular restaurants of similar caliber. But needless to say, there is definitely a wide variety of food to choose from. The Italian restaurant and the reservation only seafood restaurant stood out as the best among the others. Downsides: Though our experience was abosultely amazing, we still encountered some issues that could use some work. First, concierge needs a bit of work. There is only one conceige person (the other is a third party tour booking guide) and there is always a long wait. The concierge doesnt have the best attitude which can be a result of constantly being overwhelmed. The App they ask you to download to better your experience is buggy. A lot of awkward user interface and a lack of functionality. Given the secluded location, if you decided to go in town, your taxi driver may get lost on your ride back to the resort. But this is not an issue if you are just wanting to stay at the resort and forget about life itself. Lastly, the walls are thin unfortunately. You will hear some guest being loud and obnoxious in the middle of the night. COVID protocols: Mask are recommended but not mandatory. And I would say 80% of the guest don't wear masks b They only ask you to wear your mask when you enter a restaurant but can be removed once seated. Hand sanitizers and wipes provided essentially everywhere. Antigen and PCR testing is also available onsite. If tested positive, you will be able to quarantine in the hotel room (I believe for free but don't quote me on it) Conclusion: Will I ever return? Absolutely. And if you are considering an all inclusive resort in Cancun, I will recommend Atelier without hesitation. Great service, great food, and numerous activities and amenities for you to enjoy. From circus shows to beach cabana and nightclubs, your time at Atelier is what you make of it. Quality is stellar, enjoyed every second of my time here. I recommend staying for at least 3 to 4 nights so you have the opportunity to try every restaurant and bars. I really wanted to add an extra night to make it a 5th, but I can see the activities getting repetitive after the 6th night.

Yelp
Atelier is by far one of the best all inclusive resorts we've ever stayed at. The decor is very modern and contemporary: leather headboards, sisal rugs, farm doors, etc. The food was amazing. We visited every restaurant several times during our two weeks stay and we were never disappointed. The presentation was beautiful and every dish was extremely delicious. The service was consistently great and efficient-every staff member we dealt with was friendly, knowledgeable and eager to help. The entire experience was truly memorable and we will definitely visit again.

Yelp
My cousins and I found a great deal on the resort around 30-40% off the average rate and we knew we had to book Atelier. This 5 star all inclusive resort went above and beyond for us. Starting off with the pandemic they give you a test if you stay +4 nights. You have to test negative 48 hours prior to your flight. When you arrive they have hand sanitizing stations and the entire staff is wearing gloves/masks. Staff is constantly cleaning the entire resort as well. Some of the highlights of the resort include 2 pools bars, club, 6 restaurants the rest are small cafes, top food quality, 10 cabanas at the beach and the service overall. The top 3 restaurants were Takeshi, Maria Dolores, and Los Abrazos. Takeshi was amazing as they serve you a la carte premium sushi and sake. Get the duck, salmon rolls and tuna tataki. Perfect place to pregame, but large party seating is limited. Reservations are set in person at 6 not via the app. Maria Dolores was premium with its contemporary Mexican cuisine. I felt like I was dining in an episode of Top Chef. This restaurant requires reservations. It's best to make it the day you arrive and ask for the private glass room in the back. Order the soft shell crab tacos, onion soup, fish ceviche tostada, beef tongue and suckling pig. Flavors were definitely elevated and rich. Maria is not included cost wise in your stay, but folks staying on the resort get a nice 50% discount. Lastly, the Los Abrazos steakhouse on the top floor was amazing. The beef carpaccio, onion soup, and t bone steak were delicious. Take pictures outside at night as well as the rooftop offers great views. The 5 days we were there between 7 of us we tipped over $450. Our rooms were spotless every day we left. You can chill at your cabana at the beach/ pool side and waiters will come to you to place orders. We even had a hostess run to the beach to find me in the waiter to let me know my dinner reservations were set for tomorrow. If thats not 5 start service I don't know what else is. The app itself is so intuitive as you can chat with a live agent. Takes max 1 min to get someone to assist. Have fun with the room service as well as its included and we found ourselves ordering it every night. While we were there we found a wedding, international event held at the conference center and a couple of celebrities stop by as well. Highly recommend this resort if you want great views, top quality resort food, and amazing service that goes above and beyond. My cousins and I agreed this is the best all inclusive resort we've ever been to and counting down the days we can go back.

Yelp
This place is phenomenal. I found this place after doing a bunch of hours of research from what I saw on Expedia and this place is truly phenomenal. Everyone was nice and this place is all inclusive. For an all inclusive resort, the food and drinks were really really good. The beds were very comfortable and there's also nightly entertainment. Now I was a little ticked off that it's supposed to be an adults only resort but there were kids on our section of the beach. Nothing against kids, but adults only should mean just that. We all know how annoying kids are. And don't look at me like that. We have the rooftop suite which makes me feel like some kind of a baller because the view is completely unreal. There are some other places where they have great views too. Oh and before I forget....DO NOT BOOK AN EXCURSION THROUGH NEXUS. *grabs you by the shoulders* DO YOU HEAR ME?! DO NOT BOOK AN EXCURSION THROUGH NEXUS. That crap was HORRIBLE. The excursion people are at the hotel and completely lied about the length of Tim's that we'd be able to spend at the isla mujer. Just stay at the resort or try to find another reputable tour place because this was a bunch of bull. Overall, I really love this place and wouldn't mind visiting if they change their room menu. Speaking of- The in room dining isn't bad either. Come and visit this resort and you'll be extremely pleased. I don't recommend staying more than 3 or 4 nights because after a while the newness starts to wear off and you start to miss home.

Yelp
This is my first time at an all inclusive. We came to celebrate my 30th. Upon arrival we were greeted and brought into the lobby and given champagne while we waited to check in. Once we were checked in and shown to our room we ordered room service. The food options are great. The only down side is depending on the chef some stuff was REALLY good and the same thing by another lacks a bit. But the good thing is, if it doesn't suit your tastes, you have options. The staff is WONDERFUL and fun. I will say make sure you have bug spray, these mosquitoes are no joke at some of the outdoor areas. A tip to the resort, I think it would be nice to plant some lemongrass or some type of plants to help keep the blood suckers away. All in all this was a great experience and when I'm ready to come back I will be staying here again. Gracias Atelier!

Yelp
I just stayed here last week for 3 nights for my friends bachelorette. We found this hotel through an entrepreneur/influencer on Instagram. While checking in they were able to give us the 2 rooms as connecting except one had to be with a king bed since they cannot do connecting rooms with 2 double beds each. The resort is beautiful with multiple restaurants and bars. It's all inclusive and beachfront. We couldn't go into the ocean since it was a red flag the entire time we were there and I think it's like that all year but not sure. The first night we ate at Takeshi the Japanese restaurant/Asian fusion it was very good the restaurant was very nice itself. I really liked the espresso martini at Takeshi and also the chicken tikka masala but it could have been less spicy. Friday night we went to Cilento the Italian restaurant we had to wait like 30-45 minutes to be seated we didn't a late dinner since we had tequila tasting before so we got to dinner around 10pm. We all loved the dishes such as the burrata caprese, beef short rib, and the different pastas. The Margherita pizza was great too. Our only complaint was that the waiter thought we ordered too much food and when the portions came they weren't too big and they wouldn't let us order more since the kitchen was closing. Before dinner on Friday night we did a private tequila tasting for the 4 of us included in the all inclusive with Sergio it was very fun and we learned a lot about different tequilas and how to drink tequila without feeling sick. Sergio was very knowledgeable and did a great job with the tequila tasting. Our last night we went to Los Abrazos the steakhouse restaurant. I didn't love my ribeye I thought it was okay and it wasn't cooked enough, but the yellowtail tuna tartare was great. My group however did enjoy the restaurant. For breakfast we did Mercado 19 and el suspiro once. Mercado 19 is buffet and el suspiro is a la carte. All restaurants were accommodating to our dietary restrictions since one person in my party was vegetarian. We loved going to the Cafecito for coffee they could make any coffee trip and had pastries and snacks as well. The coffee at the cafecito was very good. I would say the only con was the service too slow for room service it took 45 minutes to 1 hour to bring food and drinks we ordered and they had missed a few items when we ordered. Also, for one of our rooms the housekeeping didn't take out the trash and didn't clean well on the last night. They had 2 connecting pools and a huge hot tub/jacuzzi. The resort is very picturesque and they did a great job with the greenery. They have an activity list with activities every day and night including disco night which we went to on Saturday night which wasn't great no live music or DJ kind of lame. I was able to watch like 15 minutes of the African show which was cool. As a group we only did the tequila tasting which you need to book a day in advance gets full. Since it was already full when we tried to book when we got to the hotel they were accommodating and did a private one for us 4. I was the only one to go to the Nuup Spa on our last full day Saturday and it was an amazing experience. I was guided to each amenity to use before my Swedish massage they had a sauna, steam room, plunge pool which was cold, hydrotherapy pool, and outside pool. I used the sauna, steam room, and hydrotherapy pool. I really loved the hydrotherapy pool...it was for your entire body back, shoulders, and legs. The massage was very relaxing and the room smelled good. I had met 2 ladies in the pool earlier that day that raves about their spa experience and said they wanted to go back for another massage. The rooms included a nespresso machine, minibar with drinks and snacks, molton brown shampoo, conditioner, and soap. Overall, I recommend the hotel and giving it a 4 stars due to service. The food, drinks, tequila tasting, and spa were the best parts for me.

Yelp
What can I say about the Atelier. That it is a piece of heaven on earth. You want for nothing, the food is amazing and the staff are awesome. Our favorite is Rafael Vega - such a hard worker, speaks English real well and couldn't do enough for us. Been here twice and became an Inspira member. Will be returning every year to my favorite place, The Atelier.

Yelp
Upon arrival we were greeted by the valet front staff who were the beginning check point of temperature checks, provided hand sanitizer and provided solution to clean the soles of our shoes, they took our luggage for sanitation purposes. Then we went ahead to check in with the reception staff they provided us with bracelets for each of our rooms we booked the junior suite swim out-King and the junior suite swim out- 2 double. We we're told download the Atelier app and found the concierge chat to be very helpful they go above and beyond to accommodate your every need. We arrived early to our check in and the staff was able to accommodate us to start our resort experience, we went to changed to our swim wear and we were provided with a tour by the staff given by Victor who accommodated our every need from requesting a special "paella dinner" for our family of 5 to driving us back and forth in the resort and reserving a place for us at the beach. The resort consist of many amenities such as pools with bars, different restaurants and beach area. The beach area has several lounge chairs with umbrellas and some are lounge beds, upon arrival to the beach you are welcomed with cold water bottle, towels, Austrian gold sunscreen and hand sanitizer. You can expect top of the line service, all the staff make the effort to provide above and beyond service to make you feel in a true bliss. I never once thought about going back home and once it was over I was really sad we had to leave but already thinking about booking my next stay again at Atelier. My four year old daughter was able to enjoy the free daycare, she never wanted to go back to our room because they had several ladies doing special activities with them to keep them entertained. In our stay we tried 3 different restaurants that were our favorites, la consentida was one of the breakfast buffets we attend every morning, I really enjoyed how they always had very authentic Mexican breakfast items on the menu such as sopes, huaraches, tamales, chilaquiles, hot mexican cocoa, variety of freshly made salsas, Coffee made from olla, authentic local fruits, variety of cheeses, freshly made juices, and authentic local bread that satisfied my bread indulgences. I feel like the variety satisfied the vegan and vegetarian pállate as well. Also wanted to thank the Manager of la consentida for being very attentive at the end of our stay my 4 year old was gifted a small hand made ornament piñata. Casa di luna serves Italian food I was mostly impressed with the soups they served it was delicious. Last but not least my all time favorite place El suspiro is a seafood restaurant near the beach, amazing service, food was delicious everything we tried on the menu was mouth watering my favorite dish was the octopus and the lychee drink those were the top two that I would request over and over but you could try anything in the menu and it was exquisite from fish tacos, coconut shrimp, variety of fish and the ceviche. This is the place where one of the concierge named victor along with the restaurant staff and the chef cooked a special paella for my family to say the least the paella from Mexico has been better than the ones we had in Spain. Children were also accommodated with their staple foods such as Mac and cheese, pizza, hot dog and fries, burgers and fries and my daughter favorite tortilla with cheese "quesadilla". As a recap, I would like to advise you to do yourself a favor and book this all inclusive resort every single dollar or euro spend is well worth it, you will find it family friendly, well trained staff and above and beyond customer service.

Yelp
We loved our stays at Atelier Playa Mujeres. I have stayed on both the Estudio and Atelier sides. The facility is well constructed and the rooms that I had each time were beautiful. The staff was attentive and friendly throughout the resort. We got a great stay for the price and plan to stay again. Excellent food quality and plenty of choices.

Yelp
Pros: 1. At first glance this hotel looks beautiful, clean and zen. 2. All inclusive/many restaurants. 3.Beachfront. 4. Polite staff. 5.El Suspiro seafood restaurant is tops! (Creative and talented Chef Andres, attentive server Luis, friendly hostesses) 6. Shrimp by kind and thoughtful Chef Ivan of Alba 7. Pet-it menu steak 8. Nice pool 9. Nice Bathrooms Cons: 1. Too many status self focused managers and concierge supervisors who do not care about fixing your complaint and give week excuses and ungenuine apologies. (They say owners are at fault!) In fact, I was greatly angered by supervisor Laura who was blasé and unempathetic and Paola who acted dissmisive like I was a liar when I pointed out the misrepresentations in their website (sent a screen shot about dog activities on their site which they LIED to us about) I felt like my complaints about fees, tv and phone issues were too trivial. Never had this type of treatment in ANY hotel much less a 5 star! Met other guests and they thought management blasé and enfuriatingly unempathetic also when they reported phone, TV and other concerns. 2. Picked hotel for its "exciting activities" for owners and their dogs but found out they never had any activities. Bait and switch. Dog toy, bowls and treats provided were for large dog nothing for my 5lb maltese. 3. Room TV satellite freezes but worse part is hotel poster ad for chapel pop up several times during programming not during commercials, especially at climatic ending and unable to dismiss!!!! 4. Resort app not helpful; doesn't give menus, maps or directions and unable to zoom in to read. 5. Hotel doesn't answer phones. Had to call from my cell to alert that phone didn't work and had to redial several times. What if I was in an emergency and couldn't go all the way to the elevator or lobby? Met other guest saying they had phone (and tv) problems, too. 6. Conflicting explanations why Restaurant Maria Dolores is not included to all all-inclsives."Its included, no we never had it included, we had a promotion, we never offered it. " Anyways, Menu not that impressive or appetising. 6. No information on site of what you need for service animal and they charge you and keep changing needed documents! ( copy of card please, doesn't show dog is registerd, need Dr. note...but only advised last minute at check out!) 7. Staff give wrong directions and information while smiling. 8. No room service from restaurants. 9. Beds and pillows are too hard! Not fluffy "down" pillows and comfy pillowtop mattresses like in 5 star hotels! 10. Mini bar is extremely tiny and not upscale. Has a couple of beers and no spirits. No space to put medicines. Due to the bad experiences with supervisors who didn't care about my frustrations with their attitude and lack of empathy, I prefer to not return and just head south...Nicer beaches and resorts.

Yelp
Atelier It's very beautiful, exactly like the pictures, and their website. This was the first time my husband had the opportunity to stay at an All-inclusive hotel and he was very excited. They have some of the best tasting food at a hotel. It was very nice that we didn't have to go out into town for food. The portions are small, keep that in mind when ordering. My husband and I each would order 3 items minimum. Entre, main dish, main dish or desert. According to the employees they serve this way so we have the opportunity to try more items. So, order away. The servers are very hardworking, and very attentive. You can tell they want to make sure you leave satisfied, and they welcomed any feedback so they could improve for next time. Maria Dolores- not included in the all inclusive package. You must pay to eat here. Suspiro- seafood, no Aguachiles though. I ordered red chilaquiles, they gave me green. Cafecito- coffee shop, this is great. I was very happy to see they had this. Mercado19- buffet for breakfast, a la cart for dinner. The only spot to get the more traditional Mexican food at dinner. They also closed this restaurant for one night, and didn't let anyone know so it was upsetting, as we had scheduled to go to each restaurant one night. Los Abrazos: their steak house, very good, Cilento: Italian, very good Takeshi: Japanese, very good/ our favorite!! Room service: 24/7 food was good. Concierge: We arrived late, so the next morning we decided to go downstairs and get information regarding the Covid testing, trips we could book, and ask about the activities being conducted by the hotel. Fabiola referred us to the Atelier App for activities, ordering room service, and a map of the hotel. She also brought up the Inspira membership and that was a whole thing, however we signed up and we received two free hydrotherapy sessions in their Nuup Spa. This was AMAZING. We booked two activities with them, and both were worth the money. We did the zip line tour, and the Chichén Itza tour. They picked us up, provided lunch, and brought us back to the hotel. Inspira Membership I know there's a catch to everything "Free" so I knew what I was getting myself into when I signed up. I never thought my entire trip would be ruined after though. The hotel will offer you a gift in exchange for meeting with their Founders from Inspira. Inspira is a membership that allows you to travel to Atelier, 2 sister hotels and get to stay at their more high-end suites. I was interested as the hotel is very impressive, and I wouldn't mind spending the 4K for the week again. We had lunch with our rep, and took a tour of the suites that would be available as a member. Towards the end we went back to their office to talk about the types of memberships and cost. Long story short in order for us to become a member we had to leave a 15k deposit. They were very pushy, and they made us feel bad because we didn't have that kind of money to put down. One of the reps said, " How do you travel on vacation with no money." Being on my honeymoon, just having to spend thousands on our wedding, and we only brought enough money for tips/and gifts it left a really bad taste. I was disappointed. I worked really hard to pay for my trip. I told the rep, this was an all inclusive hotel, I brought money to tip your employees, I didn't bring a spare 15k. She laughed and then said there wasn't much she could help us with and would let us go back to our vacation. That whole experience was 3 hours. Side Note: IMPORTANT The hotel was being occupied by mostly Caucasians. My husband and I were were one of the few Latinos and we felt like we were being treated differently. It wasn't until I decided to speak only English that the service changed. Because it's so expensive here, compared to other hotels we expected customer service to be at its best. Unfortunately, this was not the case. 80% of the employees were amazing, friendly, and courteous, the other 20% were rude. We are Mexicans, in Mexico, and our own people didn't want to serve us. We felt, like we were bothering them. We felt very discriminated. I would like to say that I will come back next year on my anniversary, but sadly we will most likely not be returning to this place and do not recommend this hotel. Spend your hardworking money somewhere else.

Yelp
This was our second time at Atelier and we still love it. The service was excellent during our stay. We were offered the Inspira upgrade but declined since we had it last visit. Honesty, I didn't miss too much of the upgrade perks. This is an excellent place to stay you like to relax. There is a night club but it's not very crowded. Fun to go for a little while but that's really it. The spa is incredible. If on a budget, just do the hydrotherapy experience for $45. It's well worth the experience. The steakhouse is my least favorite but all others are excellent.

Yelp
Top 5 resorts I've ever stayed at. The layout is amazing, the architecture is phenomenal and the staff for the most part was very pleasant. The suite I stayed in was huge with a small pool. Perfect place to take a lady friend or even a honeymoon. Not too far from the airport either. Would highly recommend

Yelp
if you stay here, be very mindful of your belongings. Our hotel shuttle driver stole my husband's cell phone. I reported it to the hotel. They did nothing about it. They accessed our credit cards and bank accounts. Stole thousands of dollars that we know of so far. Some other things about the resort. The shower is a dark green tile with dark brown floor and little lighting. Its hard to see. Also there isn't enough chairs at pool areas. We had to set our stuff on the ground and stay in the pool. Also even though we made reservations at the restaurants, they didn't want to seat us unless we were willing to sit with other resort guests that we didn't know. Also be careful on the stairs. The rise of some of the steps is a different height. People were tripping on the stairs. One guy fell and had a bloody nose. There are lots of nice resorts all over the world, I'd pick a different one to stay.

Yelp
Upon arrival at the hotel we were greeted by the valet staff and seated with a drink in hand. If we were to knit pick our stay the arrival was a bit rocky. We waited a hot minute until we were serviced by the front desk. There was also some confusion with the front desk as we were given our bracelets without a room number. Manuel our porter greeted us and situated us in our room. Manuel also made us forget about our rocky start and kindly gave us a tour of the hotel. We booked a junior suite king, beachfront and OMG amazing views! The photos do not do the justice! They do a morning turnover as well as an evening one. They replenish all soaps, sweep and wipe down the room 2x a day. Cleanliness was A+ What makes the hotel amazing are the amenities! The fitness center was ginormous and offered classes 2-3x a day. We were greeted by fitness staff AMIR everyday and made sure all the equipment was wiped down every hour. Amir kindly gave you a bottle of water as well as a towel upon entering. Amir taught all of the classes and I highly recommend boxing, what an intense cardio! Amir was there everyday and can answer all of your fitness questions as well as assist you with any of the equipment if needed. Thank you Amir for your kind hospitality! The juice bar Alba was our everyday field trip after our workout. Carlos, Yadira and Maria at the juice bar always took care of us. Carlos had the perfect green juice ready for us every morning and created amazing shakes that were fresh and light! The mini sandwiches Carlos made were also very delicious. Carlos was just so friendly and made us feel at home everytime we entered the Alba. The SPA Armando at the spa created a birthday package for us and gave us one of the best massages ever. The amenities were spectacular! There were three different pools as well as different water baths that you can partake in before and after your treatment. Maria at the spa also takes you to all of the baths and makes sure that you have your robe, water and anything you wished. For an 80 minute massage, we spent about 4 hours in total at the spa given all of their amenities and steam rooms you can enjoy. Thank you Armando! The main pool was great, there were plenty of servers to assist you all day and there are 2 swim up bars. LUIS and IVAN at the pool bar took care of me and my friends during our 9 day vacation. They made sure you always had a drink and replenished it when you are empty! A++ at the staff at the swim up bar.The beach grounds were kept clean and tidy. There are also plenty of staff to assist with food orders as well as drinks. The non motorized sports were also a plus during our stay at Atelier, we enjoyed the Kayak tour by DAVID as well as the mini tour led by the small catamaran. The FOOD oh how we miss the FOOD! El Cilento was by far our favorite restaurant at Atelier. Sylvestre, Ansel and Ingrid were great! They always greeted us with a smile and We enjoyed all of the dishes at El Cilento including our friends favorites, the burrata, the filet, the salad as well as the squid ink pasta. You can't really order anything here that does not taste amazing! The filet has to be the best item on the menu! Seasoned perfectly and super tender. El Suspero Order the ceviche and their seafood in red sauce! The ceviche is to die for, we always order 2 per person! Their seafood is always fresh, the fried fish you can't beat and staff always attentive! The breakfast buffet you can't miss! They have every type of breakfast food you want from an omelette station as well as a quesadilla station. They have a full cheese and meat section as well as all the juices you can imagine. The sushi restaurant was also an A+. The rolls were amazing as well as their main dishes including their curry and fish! Atelier's room service was on point! At any time of the day you can order room service and trust me they were delicious and always on time! We ordered room service every morning and like clockwork they arrive 15 minutes later. The room service crew always smiled, very friendly and perfected your order! The staff were courteous and always smiling! The concierge crew were A++ Alejandra took care of us the minute we arrived and made sure we received everything we need during our trip including a catamaran trip, a private viewing of a basketball game that was showing in the US as well as the UFC fight at the officina! Thank you Alejandra! This hotel is definitely the best all inclusive hotel we have ever stayed at. Their customer service is impeccable, food just perfect and amenities were on point. We are planning a second trip back this year to enjoy it one more time! Thank you Jaion for assisting us with this trip! We will be back

Yelp
10/10 recommend this resort to anyone. The food was amazing, which is really surprising for an all inclusive resort. Also, the service here is unmatched! The best bar at the resort is the swim up bar over closest to the beach, be sure to see LAZARO he is the best bartender at the resort!!

Yelp
Our stay at the Atelier was really incredible! The food was great, the drinks even better, and the service from everyone was awesome. I especially want to give a shout-out to Marcos R for helping plan the most incredible private beach party for our group. He went above and beyond to make sure we had a great evening. It was so special and the perfect way to end our trip! We already have people in our group who want to come back again. Our stay at the Atelier was a huge success!

Yelp
I loved it here! I can't wait to come back again next year and give the Inspira rooftop suite a go. I stayed in the regular suite with the ocean view and it was really nice! I enjoyed the drinks, the ambiance, the food, and the service. Everyone was welcoming, friendly, and attentive. 10/10 recommend.
