This is one of the most elegant and refined places in Seoul for beautifully crafted desserts and drinks. The matcha yuzu pound cake has been selling out so quickly, so I visited the store hoping to try it. Although I couldn’t taste it this time, they kindly managed to reserve one for me for Christmas. The visit itself was an immersive, multi-sensory experience. I was impressed by the ceiling, the service, the flavors, and even the scent—every detail felt impeccably executed! I live in Tokyo, and all of my Japanese friends love Pond whenever I bring it to them. They even insist on paying for every variety. And for the record, this is nothing like Gendy—a completely different story.

A go-to spot for celebrities and luxury brands!!! I highly recommend trying their desserts—the flavors are truly refined in Seoul. Every corner of this store feels special, with an incredible amount of detail put into the products, packaging, scent, and lighting—making it the perfect place to enjoy a full sensory experience.

If you’re looking for a beautifully curated café in Hannam, Atelier Pond is an absolute standout. The moment you walk in, the space feels intentionally designed—elegant without being overwhelming, warm yet sophisticated. It’s the kind of place where the atmosphere itself makes you want to stay a little longer. Their caramel bar was the highlight for me. The caramel flavor is rich but never artificial, and the balance between the chewy and crisp textures is just perfect. It’s sweet in a clean, pleasant way that doesn’t get tiring, and it pairs incredibly well with their coffee. It’s one of those pastries you end up thinking about even after you leave. Overall, the combination of thoughtful interior design, calm ambiance, and delicious menu makes this café an easy 5 out of 5. I’ll definitely be coming back.

We visited this cafe and bought some pastries, but were told we couldn’t dine in unless we also bought a drink. This policy wasn’t communicated clearly upfront, and it felt like we were forced to make an unnecessary purchase. The drinks were nothing special — overpriced and underwhelming. Really disappointing experience overall. Wouldn’t return.

The head patissier was busy glorifying his Michelin experience, but his "creation" is just a copy of Japan's Gendy. Nothing original to be found in their food, marketing, nor branding. Embarrassing.

Pastry boutique, specializing in financiers and caramel bars, reminiscent an art gallery/ bar. Refer to their Instagram account for details as they seem to come up with new flavours every once in a while. I purchased a box of caramel bars. Lovely service and delicate taste. They take pre orders via Instagram DM.
