"They can’t help but treat clothes as art. With just the right mix of haute fashion that you’re a little afraid to touch, and great everyday pieces by ultra cool designers like Rachel Comey and ACNE, Totokaelo’s clothes are second only to their space. Set up like a museum with expansive white space and lots of light, the whole place turns shopping into an event." - Hum Creative

My friend and I decided to visit the shop just to admire the Rick Owens Athena gown, it’s a one shoulder sequinned stretch denim floor length dress… that we saw from the magazine in the bookstore next to Atelier. Then I saw a Kiko Kostadinov solon single breasted coat, I did try it on just for the experience. The stylists are nice and friendly, it’s more of a relax environment, it’s feels like you’re in a museum looking at artworks. I did end up with a bottle of perfume, and on my second visit I got a nice pair of boots.. Will definitely visit soon for a pair of geobaskets maybe…

The store is breathtaking. They have thoughtfully chosen collections. I went shopping for my son's birthday. I can assure I was not dressed to be shopping there. They made me feel absolutely comfortable. They were helpful, not hovering. Locking the doors keeps the employees safe. Glad they do it. It also keeps customers safe.

There was a male, Asian staff member who was following me and my partner around the store. It was an extremely stressful experience and it felt like the staff thought we were trying to steal, or in general, didn’t think we could handle ourselves in the store unsupervised. I normally don’t care about customer service but this felt hostile. Overall, extremely pretentious vibe. The clothes were cute though.

Very cool space full of designer pieces that are inspiring. Not a fashionista by any means but i do recognize a few Rick Owens pieces when I see them. They lock the door as a security measure but of course people who have written exactly 1 review on this platform complain about that. Stay focused on the clothing and the staff here Atelier is five stars.

I had the perfect shopping experience at Atelier this afternoon. The staff was absolutely lovely and so knowledgeable about the brands, just so friendly and helpful. The selection of small independent designers as well as larger labels was very nicely curated. Thanks for making our shopping experience so perfect, we’ll definitely be back.

My experience with this store was terrible. I went to this Seattle Atelier store today(Dec 13th Wed around 4:15pm ish, I'm stating date and time with detail because I really want the owner to find out this RUDEST lady in the world and fire her or educate her again) to check out clothes and perfume. When my friend and I got there, the door was locked and the lady work there came to open door but she was totally not welcoming us. She was coming to the door with looking at her phone, open the door, looking at her phone again and turned around right away without even saying hello to us. I mean it's not illegal not to say hello to customers but I already felt her RUDE attitude at that time. I just tried to ignore what I felt and started to look around the store with my friend. But the lady was shadowing us EVERY SINGLE STEP (while on her phone) and I felt like "Am I a theif?!". We felt VERY uncomfortable but I still understand since Capitol Hill is pretty dangerous place. Anyways, then I found out that they have Byredo perfume and hand cream. I was looking for La Tulipe scented hand cream but it was not there and I asked that RUDE lady(she was standing right next to us again with looking at her phone and lean against the wall)if they have La Tulipe hand cream. But she was just saying Naa with "I don't fxxkin care" face with still on her phone and still lean against the wall. YES, I was totally offended. I don't know if it's because we're Asian girls or maybe she thought we looked like we're not gonna spend money in this store but that does not mean that workers can act rude to people who's not buying anything. But anyways, she totally should NOT work at high end brand store. She is NOT educated at all for this store. This lady has black hair and parted her hair right in the middle and tied her hair low back. Not Asian, had little tanned skin. I really hope the owner find out this comment as soon as possible!

This place was Nice at first glance, but the white dude worker was rude as hell. Buddy needs to be humbled and fired. Just because he works at a boujee luxury store doesnt mean he gotta act like he a top dawg over us. I was just browsing the store and i had over a band to spend on some clothing and he treated me like trash just because he thought i had no money. I had bands on me. He needs to be fired immediately.
