If you’re looking for a pair of shoes to replace the pair that was lost in your checked luggage by ITA at Marco Polo, there are many fine shoe store's nearby that will be able to assist you. Atelier Segalin is for those looking for a bespoke shoe. Daniela is a master artisan cobbler, and takes her time to get to know each customer, not just your feet, and your personal fashion style, but your whole personality. Only then can she collaborate with you on creating footwear that is both of the highest quality and comfort imaginable, but that also that IS you. They fit perfect and they look perfect.
Daniela is a delight to work with, and the whole collaborative process was very easy and relaxed. She worked with me to make sure each element of my loafers; from the material on the sole to the heel, the stitching, the upper, what precise shade of tobacco brown should we use, each and every element, was done to my deepest satisfaction.
They’re not inexpensive, and the wait time is several months, but considering that there are ready-to-wear models from major labels that cost as much of more that lack both the individuality and comfort, these are an exceptional value. And as they will last a lifetime with proper care and repair, the actual cost per wear becomes rather trivial.
