This is the house where Vuitton family lived with the original workshop that still makes trunks, special bags and made to order pieces. There is also an exhibition area. Having the privilege to step into what was once the private abode of Louis Vuitton, and adjacent to it, the brand's inaugural workshop, was truly a remarkable experience. Our private tour offered an intimate glance into the Vuitton family's history, their cherished home, and the very foundations of their workshop. Ateliers Louis Vuitton unravels the intricate tapestry of luxury craftsmanship that has positioned Louis Vuitton as a global beacon of fashion excellence. What enhanced our experience was the staff and hostess, who were not only amiable but also deeply knowledgeable. Observing artisans at work, each crafting with such precision and dedication, was truly awe-inspiring. It wasn't just a tour; the entire atmosphere, buoyed by the passionate staff, felt immersive and intimate. Whether your heart beats for fashion or you have an eye for unparalleled craftsmanship, Ateliers Louis Vuitton stands as an essential Parisian experience that simply shouldn't be overlooked.

I was invited to dinner at the Louis Vuitton family residence next door and also had the chance to visit Les Ateliers. LOUIS VUITTON history and company culture is truly unmatched. This was an experience of a lifetime

What a glorious experience to be able to enter and frequent the house where M. Vuitton and his family lived. Such a piece of history still in the making in the story of the Maison. We were received by a wonderfully nice lady who sat with us in the living room giving us a historic introduction to setting the scene of the origins of it all and how we came to be there. We were then escorted to a Time Capsule exhibition filled with glorious examples of pieces produced by several of the house's main artistic directors. We also had a video shown showcasing the work carried out at the ateliers. The staff was 5 stars, and our heartfelt thanks to Louis Vuitton and in soecial to our beloved CA who took us there.

I was always a fan of MR. Louis Vuitton and how he really shaped the Fashion Industry with a very exciting story, but visiting La Maison de Famille Louis Vuitton well was a different personal experience. When you see and feel how history is made, you simply understand how the passion of one single person can shape the future of a whole industry. If you have this opportunity, don’t miss it for anything in the world. Magical place.

Outstanding historical visit of Louis Vuitton first atelier. Original items are displayed including several unique products. Unfortunately the tour (free!) is only available in a handful of dates and is proposed only in French.

Visited the atelier as part of Journées Particulières, LVMH's annual open house weekend, and was very impressed. We received a tour of the factory showing how the different leathers are treated and the steps taken to produce a number of bags. This is the only Louis Vuitton atelier still producing rigid luggage and most products made here are made to order. The building also contains a gallery telling the history of Louis Vuitton. They're rarely open to the public, but if you can get in then it's worth a visit.
