My family and I had spent 11 marvelous days in Athena Pallas resort. Everyone, from the reception desk through restaurant staff ti cleaning ladies , were wonderful and guest oriented. Very kind and helpful but professional. We were at a Grand suite and I may say that it is a great experience-from size of the room to large balcony, comfy bed , two toilets, perfectly silent air conditioning. Cleaned everyday with care of our things that were on the floor. Restaurant offered great variety of food and sweets for both meals( we had HB), attentive staff, quality and taste of food was excellent ( not to much seasoning but one was offered plenty of spices to adjust to it’s own taste) ad well as variety of it with more than enough sea food for dinner. Compliments to the chef and all kitchen staff. |Pool was very nice and pool bar personnel were kind and helpful even bringing drinks and snacks on the beach.|Beach was very near, the passage to it is beautifully done and kept clean, with showers so one can clean before going back to hotel. Beach itself is a bit small for all the guest wishing to enjoy it but beautiful. With natural shade, excellent sunbeds and chairs offered. Maybe APResort could ask to extend it’s umbrellaa ok the right side of the beach( sunbeds were already there😉). It would be a freat addition to all of us wishing to enjoy morning coffee at this beautiful, quite beach with impeccably clean water. It is a pebble beach but they are small pebbles and i prefer it to sand( can never get sand out of my hair). It was offered to change beach towels everyday .|Resort itself is nicely and thoughtfully configured with a lot of greenery with children playground, tennis court and even pet kingdom( we travelled with our dog and ben there quite a few times😉).|As for the other entertainment we had options for gym and joga lessons, spa facilities and guided tours which were optional.|All in all we had beautiful vacation at the Hotel and plan to come back next year. We would recommend it to everyone✨

We’ve recently returned from a fabulous week’s stay at the Athena Pallas. We stayed in an Armonia suite, which we absolutely loved. The room and bathroom were very well equipped and comfortable. The proximity to the pool was a huge plus as well as having designated loungers tied to our room number. They were also the most comfortable loungers we’ve ever had. Even though the water temperature was cool it didn’t prevent me from a daily early morning swim.|The whole resort is spotless and well maintained and the staff friendly and efficient and very helpful. In the buffet restaurant the staff were very polite and efficient, clearing plates away but checking first that you had finished. Yes, the drinks were a little expensive but we still visited the bar and bought extras from the on-site shop.|In the buffet the food was varied and always a large choice of fresh salad ingredients. The desserts were really yummy and I especially enjoyed the Greek pastries.|We also enjoyed the Greek cooking lesson where my husband was able to participate and we were able to taste all the dishes prepared along with Ouzo.|I treated myself to a spa treatment which I thoroughly enjoyed. Pool towels were easy to change when needed.|We visited Nikita, going on a Friday to visit the market, mainly a produce market not a tourist market but quite large and super to see all the lovely fresh produce. We took the hotel minibus into Nikita 12€ and returned in a taxi 15€. We also walked down to the sea front where there are lots of bars and restaurants.|The sea is just over the road from the hotel accessed by steps. The beach is quite narrow and shingle so water shoes are probably a good idea. The water was very clear, but as it was early in the season I didn’t venture in, but others did swim and children were able to play and paddle.|The resort was peaceful and restful, no loud music blaring out around the pool.|We had a wonderful stay and were really pleased that we had chosen this resort for our holiday.

We stayed at this 5-star resort in Greece and overall had a great experience, though a few areas could be improved.||The hotel itself is beautiful, with well-maintained facilities and a peaceful atmosphere. The rooms were quiet and comfortable — perfect for a relaxing getaway. The beach was another highlight: clean, scenic, and pleasantly shady during the first part of the day, which made mornings especially enjoyable.||There was also ample parking available, which made things very convenient.||The only downside was the food, which felt average and not quite up to the 5-star standard we were expecting.||Still, it’s a lovely place to unwind and enjoy the Greek coast. With some upgrades to the dining experience, it could be truly exceptional.

A very enjoyable relaxing stay.|I did not give 5 stars only for the fact I emailed Acrotel in advance of going requesting a ground floor Armonia suite. I know it can't be guaranteed but I felt my request got overlooked and the staff at reception did not appear bothered.|I got offered a good floor room with two days remaining of my eight day stay but by this point decided it wasn't worthwhile.||Pros||Armonia Suite room is newly renovated, and very comfortable.|Designated sunbed so you know there will always be one for you. Reception should point it out to their guests on check in that every room number has a corresponding sun bed number.|Use of a gym and made use of free yoga and stretching classes.|Good selection of food at the buffet and the desserts are right up there with the best I have eaten at a hotel. Compliments to the chef.|In general the staff were great. Particular mention to the room ladies who made us feel welcome, two Asian gentlemen in the dining room, one being the pastry chef and the other, kitchen hand who always welcomed us with a warm greeting. The head chef was also very welcoming trying to get us to try his cuisine.|Great for a relaxing beach/pool holiday with good food. Whilst here, early June we found it a peaceful environment with great weather.||Cons||Transfer time from airport.|Greek tourism tax of €15 euros per day.|Not a great deal in the vicinity so a car could be a consideration. Car hire cheap and the road to the hotel is a pleasant easy drive.||I have now stayed at Elea Beach and Athena Palace. I can honestly say they both have their plus points.|Elea for positioning.. Views of the pool and sea stunning whilst seated at your dining table.|Athena for the reserved sun beds in the Armonia section and use of gym. And of course those yummy cakes.

I was a guest at Lily Ann Boutique the sibling hotel of Athena Palace but I really wanted to write a review for Athena Palace because of the Spa. I booked an offer with 2 massages and visited the Spa and my experience was amazing, the first massage that I did was with a lady and it was fine but the second one I did it with Ares and the words isn't enough to describe it. The professionalism, the calmness of the facilities and the massage were exceptional, he really knows what he is doing and explained me what issue I have and gave me the proper care that I needed. If you are a guest of the hotel or you are planning to visit it give a shot at the spa and ask for Ares, you will not regret it. Also everyone that I came across at the hotel were really kind and friendly buring my visit there. Keep up this quality of service!!!

Absolutely loved everything about this family holiday with young kids (5 and 8)! Went at the beginning of June when it was nice and quiet and the weather was hot but manageable!||Paid extra for the private transfers from and to the airport, and that was definitely worth it!||The greeting at reception when we arrived was wonderful and we were able to go straight to lunch (we received full board when booking). ||The food was amazing, as we enjoyed the quality of it, and actually loved that they were very inventive in using the same ingredients in different ways! And we ate so many desserts as had to try them all of course! We found it expensive having water at the restaurant so instead bought the bottled water from the shop (it was roughly £5 for 6x 2litre bottles, which was totally reasonable), and just took our own with us when we had lunch and dinner!!|Towels were free to hire, and could change them for clean ones during certain hours of the day.||There was the one main heated pool and there were plenty of free sun beds and pool toys for the kids to play with (not sure if it would be like that during the school holidays!).||We had a free cookery lesson, but it was more like a demo to watch, with just 1 person going up to work with the chef for each course. My 8 year old loved getting to help do that!||The kids club was fun for the kids too. It took 1 or 2 goes for my kids to be comfortable to stay without me, but they loved it. Tomi and her team were AMAZING! So friendly and helpful and fun, and put together a fun treasure hunt for us as we were leaving on the Wednesday and would have missed it otherwise. Thank you to them, as they made some fabulous memories for the kids!||The beach was a 1 minute walk down some steps, and it was a stone beach and so needed water shoes. But actually the stone beach was great, as you didn’t end up with sand everywhere, and’s the kids loved finding all the amazing stones, and every evening at sunset was spent skimming stones on a beach with almost no one else around. We even got to see a pod of dolphins!|We did buy snorkels from the shop on site, which was one of the best things we did as we all loved getting to snorkel down at the beach and see all the fish.||We stayed in the executive suite, which was 2 bedrooms with the lounge in the middle, and 3 separate balconies. Absolutely LOVED it! Beautiful space, and nice and close to everything on site. We experienced a small earthquake while in the room, which was a first for all of us!||We all loved that there were Swallows swooping around and nesting everywhere! We had a nest just outside our door on the terrace, and got to see the baby birds grow throughout the week!||We did do one excursion on a pirate ship which we booked through guest services, which was a lot of fun as we got to go swimming at a little lagoon beach. However it was a long day being on the ship passing the monasteries and not actually getting off. So, although we enjoyed it, I would have liked to have seen more lagoons! But it was fun swimming back to the ship from the beach (but you could take the boat back instead of you didn’t want to swim!).||The only thing I would have liked more of was evening entertainment. There was only 2 nights where there was music on in the evening, which was pleasant enough. The Greek night was Wednesday evenings and so we missed that one unfortunately!||All in all, we loved this holiday. It was quiet and relaxed and had just the perfect amount of things to do for us. Swimming, beach, food and kids club! The first time I’ve ever done a holiday where I stayed on site for nearly all the holiday! Thanks Acrotel for an amazing time away!

Beautiful hotel in lovely grounds. The staff were all fabulous, working long hours but still remaining cheery and helpful. The buffet food was always fresh and tasty. We stayed in armonia suites which gave us dedicated sunbeds- game changer! We had a totally relaxing and enjoyable stay.

Room over looking the pool.room has its own pool loungers. Tea and coffee plus mini bar.||Two restaurants a little on the expensive side side. Dining room buffet just enough..||Staff friendly and very helpful.pool bar staff serve you your drinks to your lounger.||Ample choice of breakfast and lunch. In two weeks stay evening menu a bit tedious.||Parking ok near your room.|Steps down to beach, go via the tunnel quicker.||Swallows, house Martins darting around. Large flying beetles.||We knew there were children, too many for our liking.||Mini market reasonable price, loved alcohol pops 🥳🥳🥳||The hotel is a 1 hr drive from the airport worth the drive. 15 minutes to reach the others side of the peninsula.
