Absolutely loved everything about this family holiday with young kids (5 and 8)! Went at the beginning of June when it was nice and quiet and the weather was hot but manageable!||Paid extra for the private transfers from and to the airport, and that was definitely worth it!||The greeting at reception when we arrived was wonderful and we were able to go straight to lunch (we received full board when booking). ||The food was amazing, as we enjoyed the quality of it, and actually loved that they were very inventive in using the same ingredients in different ways! And we ate so many desserts as had to try them all of course! We found it expensive having water at the restaurant so instead bought the bottled water from the shop (it was roughly £5 for 6x 2litre bottles, which was totally reasonable), and just took our own with us when we had lunch and dinner!!|Towels were free to hire, and could change them for clean ones during certain hours of the day.||There was the one main heated pool and there were plenty of free sun beds and pool toys for the kids to play with (not sure if it would be like that during the school holidays!).||We had a free cookery lesson, but it was more like a demo to watch, with just 1 person going up to work with the chef for each course. My 8 year old loved getting to help do that!||The kids club was fun for the kids too. It took 1 or 2 goes for my kids to be comfortable to stay without me, but they loved it. Tomi and her team were AMAZING! So friendly and helpful and fun, and put together a fun treasure hunt for us as we were leaving on the Wednesday and would have missed it otherwise. Thank you to them, as they made some fabulous memories for the kids!||The beach was a 1 minute walk down some steps, and it was a stone beach and so needed water shoes. But actually the stone beach was great, as you didn’t end up with sand everywhere, and’s the kids loved finding all the amazing stones, and every evening at sunset was spent skimming stones on a beach with almost no one else around. We even got to see a pod of dolphins!|We did buy snorkels from the shop on site, which was one of the best things we did as we all loved getting to snorkel down at the beach and see all the fish.||We stayed in the executive suite, which was 2 bedrooms with the lounge in the middle, and 3 separate balconies. Absolutely LOVED it! Beautiful space, and nice and close to everything on site. We experienced a small earthquake while in the room, which was a first for all of us!||We all loved that there were Swallows swooping around and nesting everywhere! We had a nest just outside our door on the terrace, and got to see the baby birds grow throughout the week!||We did do one excursion on a pirate ship which we booked through guest services, which was a lot of fun as we got to go swimming at a little lagoon beach. However it was a long day being on the ship passing the monasteries and not actually getting off. So, although we enjoyed it, I would have liked to have seen more lagoons! But it was fun swimming back to the ship from the beach (but you could take the boat back instead of you didn’t want to swim!).||The only thing I would have liked more of was evening entertainment. There was only 2 nights where there was music on in the evening, which was pleasant enough. The Greek night was Wednesday evenings and so we missed that one unfortunately!||All in all, we loved this holiday. It was quiet and relaxed and had just the perfect amount of things to do for us. Swimming, beach, food and kids club! The first time I’ve ever done a holiday where I stayed on site for nearly all the holiday! Thanks Acrotel for an amazing time away!
