I have had the privilege of collaborating with Athens Capital Hotel since its opening, and throughout the years, the partnership has always been exceptional. The staff embody true five-star hospitality: highly trained, unfailingly polite, and consistently solution-oriented. Their ability to handle even the most challenging situations with grace and professionalism sets them apart in the industry. In particular, I would like to highlight Mr. Stavros Kalogerakos, Complex Sales Manager, Leisure, and his outstanding sales department team. Their expertise, efficiency, and commitment to excellence consistently ensure the highest standard of service and create a foundation of trust in every collaboration. What distinguishes Athens Capital is not only the elegance of its facilities, but above all, the remarkable people who support it. Their dedication and positive spirit bring real value to every guest experience. I wholeheartedly recommend Athens Capital Hotel as a trusted partner and a model of excellence in hospitality. Sincerely, Maria Christina Baklava Country Manager for Thalassa Journeys Greece

Excellent service, great location close to Parliament buildings, Botanic Gardens, & a variety of shops. Very convenient with. Metro stop across the road & only a short walk to the Plaka. Hotel was so comfortable, staff were extremely friendly & staff who serviced my room were especially helpful. The rooftop terrace has a fabulous view of the Acropolis & the Athens skyline. Highly recommended!

The Athens Capital Hotel is in an excellent location and offers three restaurants, which is a plus. The rooms are honestly a bit on the small side, though the breakfast is decent. The rooftop has a nice view, but the prices at the terrace restaurant don’t really match the quality of the food or the service. Overall, it’s a good hotel for a short stay (we only stayed two nights), but it’s not truly five-star and not worth paying a very high nightly rate for a longer visit.

Excellent service from friendly and helpful staff. Well situated in the heart of Athens. Great restaurant with spectacular views. Slightly uncomfortable with the taxi service provided. Taxis were apt to leave their meters off and charge around 10 Euros more than the regular fare. That said, a great overall experience.

The hotel was great in so many ways. The staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The hotel is situated in great location, and the views from the rooftop bar and pool are stunning. Can't fault the hotel at all. The hotel has a large selection of breakfast options, and the food in the restaurants was delicious. I highly recommend staying here.

This is a nice hotel right next to Syntagma Square. It’s about 15-20mins to walk to several main attractions, or there’s a metro stop across the street. ||We enjoyed our room - the bed was extremely comfortable and there was pretty good sound insulation. Unfortunately there was a very odd buzzing noise coming from the plugs by the bed (think old internet dial up noises). I was too lazy to change rooms, so I used my earplugs to sleep. ||Staff was nice and the concierge was very helpful with a few last minute items. However, there were certainly service lapses. Cleaners did not restock our coffee pods/milk all days we were at the hotel. Each day we would ask the front desk to rectify, but sometimes it would take a few tries to get both items delivered. The last day our towels weren’t restocked. This seemed to be a wider problem as I heard two people complaining about it at the front desk when we checked in. ||Breakfast was generally good, except when there are large tour groups staying at the hotel (and there often is - they set up welcome desks in the lobby). The first morning, breakfast was a zoo. Nobody came to take our coffee or juice orders. Wait staff kept running by us and smiling, but we couldn’t flag them down for a while. It was chaotic. The other two mornings were much improved and service better (we could actually get coffee).||One random thing we appreciated - shoe cleaning machines on every floor. Great for getting the dust off your shoes after a long day exploring the ancient sites.

The hotel is absolutely beautiful. It's also very clean. The rooftop pool is amazing with a beautiful view on Athens. Breakfast is astounding, with a gigantic choice of delicious fresh foods, sweet and savoury. The staff is adorable, they speak perfect English and are very helpful and nice. The room was also beautiful with a super comfy bed and all amenities you can think of.

Right next to the Syntagma, close to the shopping area, perfect location for a stay as tourists. The building and facilities are new, everything in the room feels comfortable and modern. The only complaint was the AC outlet in our room was blowing directly to the head side on the bed. The reception was extremely helpful, giving detailed plan to us on restaurant recommendations. At the end of the trip, also gave us some soaps with the shape of the Akrokeramo which appears also in the corridor of the hotel, small gestures but nice memory to take away. The breakfast was excellent, a lot of choices and different egg dishes made on order. There were also the nice fresh Greek yogurt and honeycomb. We also tried the rooftop bar, it was still chill in the evening when we visited in early April, the roof swimming pool was empty, but there was still a view to enjoy. Although probably cannot really compete with the view of the rooftop bars directly at the foot of the Acropolis.
