"The Athens Capital Center Hotel in the heart of Athens is my absolute favorite place. If you want to be within walking distance of the Parthenon, you can't go wrong with this hotel."

Excellent hotel with great service. Perfect location for sightseeing - everything is within walking distance. Gorgeous rooftop with pool which was lovely for sunset drinks! Tasty, varied breakfast. Very comfortable beds, quiet, luxury bathroom amenities and blackout blinds (we are sensitive sleepers so this was appreciated). My only minor gripe was the lack of space with our two large suitcases. I’d definitely stay here again and would upgrade to a larger room!

We’ve just returned from another wonderful stay at Athens Capital Hotel ,our second time here, and once again, it exceeded all expectations. This has become our favorite stopover on the way to the islands, and for good reason. From the moment you step through the doors, the team makes you feel genuinely welcomed. The front office staff are warm, efficient, and always ready to help, their professionalism sets the tone for the entire stay. The rooms are elegant and comfortable, the atmosphere calm and refined, and the attention to detail consistently outstanding. A special thank you to the breakfast team, who continue to elevate our mornings with impeccable service and a warm smile. Ioanna deserves special recognition for her kind and attentive manner ,she goes above and beyond to ensure every guest feels cared for. We’d also like to highlight Artemis, whose passion for perfect coffee shines through every cup, a small but deeply appreciated touch that makes all the difference. To the entire Athens Capital team: thank you for your unwavering commitment to excellence. You’ve made our stays feel not only luxurious but also personal. We are already looking forward to our next visit!

Right next to the Syntagma, close to the shopping area, perfect location for a stay as tourists. The building and facilities are new, everything in the room feels comfortable and modern. The only complaint was the AC outlet in our room was blowing directly to the head side on the bed. The reception was extremely helpful, giving detailed plan to us on restaurant recommendations. At the end of the trip, also gave us some soaps with the shape of the Akrokeramo which appears also in the corridor of the hotel, small gestures but nice memory to take away. The breakfast was excellent, a lot of choices and different egg dishes made on order. There were also the nice fresh Greek yogurt and honeycomb. We also tried the rooftop bar, it was still chill in the evening when we visited in early April, the roof swimming pool was empty, but there was still a view to enjoy. Although probably cannot really compete with the view of the rooftop bars directly at the foot of the Acropolis.

We were here to catch a cruise, but it turned out to be a great opportunity to explore downtown Athens. The rooftop is a must-visit - you can see the Acropolis from up there! It’s a really nice spot, especially at night when the view is breathtaking. The pool is also amazing. We didn’t have time to try the rooftop infinity pool, but we’ll definitely do that next time. Overall, the location is fantastic! By the way, breakfast is also wonderful.

I had high expectations from this hotel given the price and five-star rating, but unfortunately, it did not live up to them. The hotel feels extremely crowded and noisy – especially in the lobby, which is always busy and far from relaxing. The service overall is far below what you would expect from a five-star property at this price point. There is no spa, and no option to take a shower after checking out – which is very inconvenient, especially after using the pool. Speaking of the pool, while it is aesthetically nice, it is very small and there are very few seating areas considering the size of the hotel. No one is available to assist with towels or sunbeds either. Overall, the value for money is very low. I wouldn’t recommend it for anyone expecting a true five-star experience.

This hotel in downtown Athens is a true gem. It’s located in a beautiful, upscale area surrounded by luxury shops like Gucci, Hermès, and Cartier — a clear sign of the quality and safety of the neighborhood. My room was clean, modern, and very comfortable. The bed was honestly one of the best I’ve ever slept in, and the electronic shades made the room perfectly dark for a great night’s sleep. A standout feature was the automatic night light that turns on when you sit on the side of the bed — super helpful for late-night bathroom trips without disturbing sleep. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing and luxurious stay in the heart of Athens.

We had a lovely stay at this hotel; the staff is excellent—friendly and attentive. The reception/concierge staff helped us arrange taxis, an extra night’s stay, restaurant recommendations (which were outstanding) etc. Efi and the other folks in the poolside bar and restaurant gave us wine recommendations and made us feel welcome when we first arrived and throughout our stay. There was a young man helping us on our first day who remembered us 2 days later, and the lovely lady cleaning on our floor helped us find the elevator every time we got lost. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Efi our rooftop bar waitress was the best! Her attention to detail and genuine kindness was top shelf. Highly recommend this location. The food was fantastic but she made it worth coming back again if we are ever in Athens. Thank you!!
