Athens Capital Hotel - MGallery Collection

My foremost positive comment about this hotel is the staff. They are quite friendly and well-trained. From concierge to room service attendants, all are very professional. Special note to Vangelis as he was very delightful during breakfast and lights up the mood of the guests. I highly recommend staying at this hotel if you are ever in Athens.

I am only sharing this negative review because the staff lied to me…. I stayed here on business & there were bed bugs in my bed / room. The hotel were ‘shocked’ about this and said it had never happened before… however upon checking the reviews of the hotel, I can see it has previously been reported too. The hotel explained that ‘this is common when travelling - bed bugs can come on luggage, clothing etc’ which was an extremely bad excuse. No hotel should have bed bugs and this is not a normal thing that they ‘travel on suitcases’. I felt as though they didn’t want to take responsibility. I was moved to another room on the same floor and given a free coffee as an apology… I decided to then go to management about the issue. I was told management would come to my room to speak to me and they didn’t, so I went & asked for them myself at reception. I was then put into a better room / suite but like I say, they lied to me. They said this has never happened before but this was a lie. All you have to do is check other reviews and you’ll see this has happened before. UPDATE: The response you have provided is appalling - essentially saying that I have lied about the matter - despite a member of staff seeing the room / bed bugs in person and me showing the photographs. Must also add, the reason you moved my colleagues is because my colleage found a questionable cream coloured stain on the underside of the bed. I provided a photo of this to the management team at the time.

Great hotel and fantastic cuisine! We had dinner at Mappemonde restaurant! Great rooftop with breathtaking views over the Acropolis and Athens city Center! Food was the best, carefully curated and very tasteful Amazing desserts, the profiterole is a must! Congratulations to the Chef and the Pastry Chef! Highlight was the Team, very friendly, efficient and professional! We were greeted with a smile from the Doormen to all waiters! Fully recommend!

There is a reason why Athens capital center hotel is a 5-star hotel and why they have so many excellent reviews. I stayed at the hotel for 4 nights and my experience has been nothing short of exceptional. The service was excellent. All staff were welcoming and very helpful. The room itself was immaculate. Ample space in the rooms, plenty of features and the rooms were kept clean always. They have a variety of items available in the mini bar. The bathroom, for me, was simply divine. Looked spectacular and the shower space was amazing. They also have a couple of restaurants at the hotel itself, which serve amazing food and the rooftop pool is divine. All in all, a wonderful place to stay in Athens!

I had an incredible stay at M Gallery Athens, and the hospitality was outstanding. The receptionist who checked us in was exceptionally friendly and helpful, supporting us with everything we needed. When I asked about a welcome cocktail, I was pleasantly surprised to find a complementary welcome cocktail card sent to our room along with the bellboy. This thoughtful gesture made my day! The turndown service was impeccable, with delightful treats left in our room. The beautifully embroidered pillowcase with my initials was a unique and heartfelt gift that I will always remember. Maria from housekeeping, who spoke perfect Turkish, and the Albanian lady, who was always warm and attentive, made our stay even more special. The bar manager and bartenders provided exceptional service, and the breakfast was amazing, with a great variety in a serene atmosphere. My partner and I had an unforgettable experience at M Gallery Athens. Thank you to the entire team for making our stay so special. I highly recommend this hotel!

Stayed here with my family of 8 adults and one 5 month old baby for 4 nights. It was such an amazing stay. The staff was so kind, welcoming, and helpful. The complimentary breakfast was so amazing and had such a variety of foods and was in such a stunning dinning room. The pool and gym were also lovely. The restaurant (on the top floor next to the pool with an amazing view) was delicious and affordable. Our rooms were lovely, we never once heard our neighbors and our AC worked perfectly. Such a good start to our stay in Athens!

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel, perfectly located in the heart of Athens. The dinner and food were excellent, but the true highlight of our vacation was the incredible staff. Everyone was so welcoming and kind, making us feel right at home. A special shout-out to George at breakfast, his expertise and outstanding service made every morning feel extra special. This hotel truly has a team that goes above and beyond!

My stay at the Athens Capital Center Hotel was by far one of the hotel experiences I’ve had. From the superb service, to the location, room appointment and cleanliness. It was all impeccable and the breakfast was a wonderful surprise. Make sure you visit the rooftop pool and restaurant. Especially at sunset. Overall my experience was amazing. I felt welcomed and appreciated as customer. This definitely a hotel you want to visit.
