A great hostel for young travellers like myself! Rooms were clean and two toilets available in my standard 8 bed share room. Upstairs bar opens at 6PM with lovely music, cheep bear and great staff. Beer pong is cheap at only €10 per game. A beautiful view of the Acropolis only adds to this amazing bar. Location is fantastic as only a 1.5km max walk to any major location in the city. Reception staff are friendly and is open 24:7 which for travellers looking to save some money by getting later flights is a great perk! Would definitely come again! 10/10 recommend to travellers!

I enjoyed my stay here, the rooms are nice and ensuite relatively clean. The only thing is the room are very cold (you have to go to reception to get a blanket/remote for A/C) and don’t come with a curtain - I would suggest a female only room rather than mixed. The area also isn’t the best, I didn’t feel super safe and refrained from walking outside when it got dark. I met some lovely people here though!

We stayed there for 3 nights end of June. There’s always someone at the reception if you need anything, which is really helpful. The rooftop bar is amazing, we met lovely people. The room and the bathroom were very clean. Beds are comfortable. There are big lockers in the room. We didn’t have any mini fridge in the room, but I know some did have one. The emplacement is great, near to the acropolis and plaka, but not the best neighborhood. We didn’t feel like walking alone around there. Overall a great experience

My stay at The Hawks was truly wonderful and heartwarming! I absolutely loved my room—it was cozy, spotless, and the service was excellent. The entire hostel was very clean and well-maintained. The location couldn’t be better: right in downtown, close to all the coolest spots. Everyone I met was incredibly friendly and polite, which made the experience even more special. I had so much fun, especially hanging out on the rooftop! I can wholeheartedly recommend The Hawks and will definitely be coming back for a second stay. Thank you so much for everything! :)

Location is great and rooms are fine! But incredibly noisy hostel, with a lot of people making loud noises during the whole night in the hallway. As well as the music. In the lounge there are not a lot of people open to conversation or getting to know each other. Most keep to themselves with reading or ear buds. Would not recommend going here per se if you are on your own

Not the greatest location, but close enough walk to the heart of Athens. The rooms and service were good! Didn’t love the showers just because water got everywhere, but that’s a minor thing that I can live with! Would recommend!

I had a great stay in a bunk room for my 4 days in Athens. The rooftop bar has an amazing view of both the Acropolis and the sunset (and so much more.) The staff was friendly and chill while maintaining a nice space for everyone to be. And it was close to the metro, a short walk to amazing restaurants, and a lot of both nightlife and daytime activities nearby. I will definitely come back whenever I find myself back in Athens.
