The staff were friendly, but unfortunately that was the only positive aspect. Staying on the first floor — or rather trying to sleep — was extremely difficult. There is a café directly below on the ground floor that stays loud until after midnight. On top of that, the very loud hand dryer in the restroom adds even more noise. Overall, it was awful.||The showers and toilets are shared and located in the same area. The showers are very small, and drying off is very uncomfortable due to the steam and lack of space. Since there are no proper walls and the beds and lockers are made of metal, there is a lot of noise whenever they are opened or closed. If something falls behind the bed, there is little to no chance of retrieving it.||There is hardly any fresh air, as there are no windows to the outside. Quiet hours do not seem to exist. This place is more suitable for night owls who enjoy their time without consideration for other guests. Anyone looking for peace and quiet should definitely stay elsewhere.

Good location - food options, close to metro, walking distance to acropolis, souvenir streets, night life, etc.Love the grocery shop nearby, within 5 mins walk that offer a cheaper price and varieties that I need.Receptions are mostly friendly and helpful for some information I asked - eg extra blanket, hair dryer.Note: no lift. But staff was helpful.Pantry has only microwave, utensils and small fridge. So very light to no meal prep and cooking.

Very clean hostel in a great location, very walkable. Front desk staff are very helpful and have plenty of recommendations for activities based on different preferences. The beds come with a nice warm blanket and good quality privacy curtains that block out light efficiently. Only cons: the bathrooms dont have any hand dryers or paper towels, so you must bring your own towel every time.

Fantastic stay, wish I could’ve stayed longer As a digital nomad I was positively surprised by how nice this hostel is for working. The WiFi works great, there are plenty of seats downstairs, and the bar is a surprisingly nice spot to get work done (especially with a Freddo cappuccino). The rooftop terrace has different seatings and more space to relax or work. They host a pub crawl almost every night, which I absolutely recommend. I met great people there, as well as in my dorm. Downstairs wasn’t super social during low season (November) but I still had a great time thanks to the people I met. The staff, both at reception and behind the bar, are fun, helpful and honest. If you book directly you get a free drink and the bar. The decor is warm and inviting, the brunch menu is delicious and the location is incredible! Right in one of Athens’ vibrant neighborhoods, close to alternative bars and great nightlife. Ask the staff for recommendations based on your music taste; they really know the area. Highly recommend this hostel.

This was my son’s first hostel experience and it’s bebe great. Staff are lovely, the curtained beds very comfy and cozy, the lockers are large and the bathrooms clean. The bartender downstairs was lovely too. Really enjoyed our stay.

I recently had the absolute pleasure of staying here in November, and honestly, it went far beyond anything I expected. This was my very first time in Athens and arriving solo at night — without Wi‑Fi, tired from travel, and not quite sure what to expect — I was a little nervous. But choosing this hostel turned out to be one of the best decisions I could’ve made. I’ve stayed in hostels before, including in Florence, so I had a general idea of what hostel life can be like. But this place? It raised the bar. One of the first things I loved was that they don’t charge to store your luggage — a huge relief, especially compared to another nearby hostel I stayed at. I booked a private room on the top floor, and while there’s no elevator, the climb was worth it. Consider it a built‑in workout with a cozy reward at the top. I also spent a night in the four‑bed girls’ dorm, and I was genuinely impressed. Clean, modern, comfortable — everything felt fresh and thoughtfully designed, just like the private room. But what truly made this stay unforgettable was the staff. Every single person was kind and welcoming, but I have to give a special shout‑out to Alex. He hosted a cooking class that felt like a luxury experience — warm, hands‑on, and full of laughter. I met some of the most wonderful people that night, and we created memories I’ll never forget. By the end of the evening, strangers had become friends. We cooked, we laughed, we shared stories, and thanks to Alex and Maria, we ended up dancing the night away. The staff also helped us plan a day trip to Delphi that fit perfectly within our budget. Their knowledge and genuine care made everything so much easier. And no matter what time you arrive, someone is always there to greet you at the locked front door, which adds an extra layer of comfort and security. There’s always something happening here — events, activities, social gatherings — so don’t hesitate to ask what’s going on. And the location? Absolutely prime. You’re within walking distance of major historical sites, great shopping, local restaurants, the train, and plenty of nightlife. I stayed in a 6 bed mixed dormitory room, €15 for the night. Private balcony, comfortable bed & decent sized storage locker too. 24 hour reception and bar. Great location on a quiet side street & just round the corner from old fashioned bar happy days!!

The location couldn’t have been better. The hostel is just 5 min away from everywhere you want to go. The rooms and common areas were super clean, honestly way cleaner than most hostels I’ve stayed at. The staff were some of the friendliest and most helpful people ever. The café/bar in the lobby had such a cozy vibe, perfect for chilling or meeting other travelers. Huge shout-out to Alex for being incredibly kind and helpful.
