Athens Walks

The Acropolis and Parthenon Guided Walking Tour, including the Acropolis Museum, was absolutely fantastic. Alexandra, our tour guide, was amazing. I can’t say enough good things about her. She was incredibly knowledgeable, engaging, and entertaining. The four-hour tour flew by without us even noticing the time. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Athens!

We really enjoyed this foodie tour of Athens! The size of our group was just right & it was great to meet & get to know fellow travelers. Our guide Tonia was so sweet, caring, and very knowledgeable on all of the foods we tried during the tour. She was genuine in making sure we all had a good experience. We highly recommend this tour with Tonia if you love eating and want to try authentic Greek cuisine and food culture. It was a wonderful experience!

If I could give this cooking class 10 stars, I would. This was my first activity after landing and getting settled in my hotel and it was a great introduction to Athens. Spiros is a class act! His class was informative, engaging and loads of fun. He explained everything really well and gave thorough instruction. I met some wonderful people and we bonded over the amazing meal we all made together. I will ABSOLUTELY book this class again and I will recommend it to anyone traveling to Athens!

One of the best parts of our vacation was the Foodie Tour! Alexandra was incredible! She has such love & pride for Greece and it shows in how she shares her favorite places for the most well known Greek foods. She was an absolute delight & provided us with a ton of information & cool facts as well as interesting parts of her own history with Greece. The food was amazing and included so much! A true must do tour!!!

We absolutely loved our Athens Food Tour. Our tour guide, Maria made our experience unforgettable. She was very professional, while at the same time, very personal. She made or small group feel as though we were part of her family. We tasted foods that left us extremely satisfied that we had the best that Athens had to offer. In addition to the food tasting, she gave us a historical knowledge of Athens as we walked around the city. We would definitely recommend this tour and Maria to anyone visiting Athens. Kostas set up two private tours for us. Walking food tour of Athens with Anastasia and Acropolis monuments with Alexia. Both were excellent tours and the tour guides were outstanding. These tours were good value for the money. Alexia made sure that the scaling of the Acropolis was done at a leisurely pace ...it is quite a climb from the south entrance. While the tours are very good, Anastasia and Alexia both made them that much more enjoyable. Thank you!!

Phenomenal value for money. Vangelis was an absolute expert and without his guidance we would have gotten far less out of our visit to both the Acropolis and Museum. I highly recommend doing both. The guide helps you to quickly understand what your looking at, helps to put it in the appropriate historical context, and is of course able to answer questions as you have them. The audio headsets also help a great deal. It was raining quite heavily during our tour, but because of the headsets we were able to hear even over the sound of the rain on our umbrellas.

Last week we had the pleasure to meet the lovely Anna, who showed us some amazing and local food spots in the beautiful city of Athens! We attended the Food-Tour which was very informative, the food super delicious(you really shouldnt eat a lot before attending bc it will be a lot of food😂) and we met so many amazing people! I would 100% recommend it, if you want to know more about traditional Greek food and culture!
