We absolutely loved our Athens Food Tour. Our tour guide, Maria made our experience unforgettable. She was very professional, while at the same time, very personal. She made or small group feel as though we were part of her family. We tasted foods that left us extremely satisfied that we had the best that Athens had to offer. In addition to the food tasting, she gave us a historical knowledge of Athens as we walked around the city. We would definitely recommend this tour and Maria to anyone visiting Athens. Kostas set up two private tours for us. Walking food tour of Athens with Anastasia and Acropolis monuments with Alexia. Both were excellent tours and the tour guides were outstanding. These tours were good value for the money. Alexia made sure that the scaling of the Acropolis was done at a leisurely pace ...it is quite a climb from the south entrance. While the tours are very good, Anastasia and Alexia both made them that much more enjoyable. Thank you!!

Book a tour with Alexandra! She is so knowledgeable, sweet and fun. She made this tour amazing. As soon as our 4 hours were over we were talking about booking another tour with Athens Walks because of how much fun we had. Great food. Great stories and a perfect way to see the city. You get so much food and its all delicious. You will not leave hungry! Can't wait to do another tour soon.

Could you purchase a ticket to walk around the Acropolis and tour the Acropolis museum on your own? Of course, you could, but why would you? This tour was informative, educational and interactive. Our tour was in English and our tour guide, Natasha was excellent! She possessed a wealth of knowledge that provided us with the information needed to understand the historical and cultural significance of what we were seeing. I highly recommend this tour.

We had a group of nine people, mostly family members - all with strong personalities. Ana ably kept the group together while seamlessly flowing from place to place. She warned us at the beginning to eat selectively because there was too much food to eat. So much was left that each of us had leftovers to take with us. Her knowledge about the origins and preparation of the food was outstanding. She had us all astounded with her knowledge and love for her job. Ana also had outstanding rapport with the vendors. They all were happy to see her. They also ensured the samples were ready when we arrived on time. The whole event proceeded like clockwork. Finally, Ana knows many languages and we understood her easily understood. I hope to go on another tour with her on my next visit to Athens.

Lovely guided tour with Elena! Perfect atmosphere with plenty of lovely stories and jokes. A real storyteller. Pick always the afternoon tour 15:00-19:00 and remain later on Acropolis to see the lovely sunset. Thank you Elena so much for this experience.

Alexandra is a fantastic guide, and we learned so much on our walking Athens food tour! We had been in Greece for over a week but wanted to make sure we were eating all the authentic foods and visiting the places we had not thought of, and this tour did just that. My favorite part was learning the process of making and then enjoying a Greek coffee, but the whole walk was great, and the neighborhoods we walked through were beautiful (so many murals and colorful graffiti) and rich in history. The foods were all wonderful, no dislikes.
