Atherton Motel

For years every time we go to Atherton we have stayed in Atherton Motel and loved it each time. The owners Rob and Karen are always there to ensure we have a good stay. The renovated apartments are really luxurious, with full amenities and provisions. Great location and service, beautiful views and 5 star product in Atherton.

Hands down the best experience staying at this motel. The owners are such lovely couple they make you feel welcome. The hospitality was outstanding and i would recommend staying here. Thanks for making my stay a relaxing and comfortable.

Recently stayed here for my Daughters Formal graduation for a few nights. The lovely family that owns the place were VERY warm and welcoming, going over and beyond for us. I forgot my charger they provided one to use for our stay, we needed to get in town urgently they even drove us in to town, free of charge. Not to mention great comfortable beds , clean rooms , friendly service and nice food available. If ever in Atherton again will definitely be staying again!

We recently stayed here on the weekend with our family for a golf competition. On arrival the owner and his wife were so kind and welcoming, they organised a room for our family at last minute as another hotel cancelled 1 of our days stays. 2 nights we stayed here and it was lovely. The views in the morning of the country side sunrises, the clean room, comfy bed and big smart tv. We will definitely be returning to stay for our next trip. Also great Chinese next door :)

My girlfriend and I stayed here for the night on our road trip, Shannon was delightful right from the first phone call to book our room, we only had one night here but loved the location, room was clean and bed was comfy would highly recommend.

Clean and cosy rooms. Well located for whatever your plans are in the Atherton area but the exceptional thing about Atherton Motel is the staff. Super friendly and helpful. Responsive to any enquiries. Positive tips for things to do or places to eat locally. Can 100% recommend you give them a call to book directly, rather than going through a 3rd party site.

We stayed here for a business + family trip for 2 nights. The staff were very friendly and accommodating- nothing was too difficult. The rooms very clean with plenty of space. Nice view over the Table lands. Chinese next door was delicious and super convenient especially if you have a little one.

If you are after a comfortable bed, large shower and quiet evening, this is the spot. You have to drive into Atherton shops but you will only do that once as the Information Centre and IGA are the highlights. The surrounding towns esp Yungaburra (11km) away are better options for meals and touristy things. Next door is the Pagoda Chinese Restaurant which seems to do a pretty good trade. You need to book on a Saturday night but on a Sunday night most people get take away ( we did ) The downside of the motel is that it is a bit tired and needs some maintenance. The rooms were clean but the bathroom ceiling a bit mouldy ( the tropics don't help ) Don't start a fire either as there was a whole lot of nothing where the smoke alarm should be.
