Athus Hotel by Bsb Inn

I was attending a meeting in Brasilia, coming from Europe...the hotel cancel last minute my reservation (while in the plan: thus imagine my surprise landing in Brazil). Worst they cancel saying my card had problem (which was not the case), but checking on their website the reason was overbooking! Thus not reliable at all! They just want to ensure all their rooms are sold, thus even practicing this way!

We were delighted with this hotel. Conveniently located and spotless. The staff was helpful, friendly and very efficient---something we had not found too often in other Brazilian hotels. The keys were laid out on the desk awaiting our arrival. The outside is not promising, but the inside was excellent. The buffet breakfast was very good.

Why was the last review written in 2013? What's going on?||||I chose this hotel for price not for appearance; most of the hotels in Brasilia are bunched together and the Aristus is a squat structure dwarfed by the high-rises around. However I was pleasantly surprised. The staff mere pleasant, the accommodation very clean and breakfast substantial. The downstairs room was a bit short of daylight but for the price---lower than those on the upper floors---I had no complaints.

The locatuon and the services are pretty good but the rooms are just OK.

Great location, and gently workers.
