Enjoy cocktails and views at these rooftop bars in Singapore

"Look up from street level at ION Orchard and you might miss it, but at the pinnacle awaits a swish social space with panoramic views and the highest viewpoint in downtown Orchard Road. Opened by the same folks behind 1‑Arden, it leans into its sky‑high allure with a curated signature cocktail list: order the vibrant Bao Bao (butterfly pea rum, pineapple, cucumber, lemon) for something refreshing, or the Jerez Caramelo with whisky and toffee caramel when you’re in the mood for indulgence." - Dannon Har, Megan Tan

We had such a fun experience at Ático Lounge! We started with drinks at the bar, which is absolutely adorable. The bar staff was incredibly attentive and helpful, and honestly the drink menu alone is a reason to visit — tons of tequila options and really unique cocktails. We especially loved the flaming piña coladas! We had a reservation for Saturday night, but I don’t think it was necessary. It wasn’t overly busy, though I would recommend they add more signage inside the hotel — it took us a minute to figure out where to go. (Tip: it’s on the rooftop of the Moxy Hotel; just head to the top floor.) All of the food we ordered was excellent. Service was a little slow, but we were dining with friends and didn’t mind the pace at all. One member of our group was gluten-free and the restaurant handled it just fine — we just had to double-check a couple of items since our server was a bit confused when delivering dishes, but she was happy to make sure everything was safe. Highlights were the ceviche trio, the skewers, and their amazing mole. We ordered a LOT and couldn’t finish everything. We visited in winter, so the outdoor patio wasn’t open, but it looks like it would be such a fun spot in the summer. Between the rooftop vibes, great food, and fantastic cocktails, this is definitely a place worth returning to!

Very professional service. Dinner was delicious, favorite sea bass dinner ever had! The atmosphere so fun and lively! The DJ played great music! We will definitely return

So I met some friends at Ático Lounge for dinner and drinks. I had the Carnitas Enchiladas with the Atico House Margaritas. The atmosphere was great, our service was too. The sauce on my meal was different than expected but complimented the taste of the meat in this dish. I added a copy of the Desert menu but I decided to pass on these on this trip. I rarely go downtown or anywhere near downtown because parking is always such a pain. But Ion the evening we went we were able to find free street parking. The restaurant is located on the 8th floor of the Moxy Hotel so depending on where you sit you get some views of downtown or Breeze Stadium. All in all, @McTwindom would recommend a visit to Atico Lounge.

Hip spot with fabulous food and drinks for elevated but relaxed rooftop dining downtown. Absolutely delicious, try the pollo pibil (slow cooked in banana leaves) and the chimichuri sauce (come with the skewers) and anything with the mole.

A fresh new bar lounge in this area. It’s located on top floor of Moxy hotel. Nicely designed with a large bar seating and other tables. Decor and atmosphere is modern and warm. It was quite busy and has a nice vibe. We only tasted the tacos; unfortunately they were a little dry. Cocktails were properly made and worth it. I would go back to try some other food options to further assess the food category. Service was lovely, attentive but not pushy. We enjoyed sitting at the bar since they serve full menu there. Either way it’s a great cocktail spot to pop into before a dinner or on way to an event.

I was very excited to try Ático after seeing the menu but, the food was VERY hit or miss. 7 of us went for dinner and everyone liked the atmosphere, and our waitress was lovely. The highlights: 1. Our waitress 2. The Camarones Argentine were delicious 3. The gaucho caesar was good (but overdressed) 4. The nachos with carnitas was good The lowlights: 1) the seafood enchiladas were flavorless. They were extremely disappointing. 2) The ceviche trio was not worth ordering. Very underwhelming. With 7 people at the table, it was not finished. 3) The aguayon steak was ordered medium rare, it came medium well to well. It was sent back to be remade, came back out medium well…again. The person who ordered it didn’t even eat it. The kitchen doesn’t seem to know how to make a medium rare steak. When a steak is sent back for being very overcooked and the second steak comes out just as BAD, it’s time to cut your loses and leave. There l was almost no pink at all…truly inedible. 4) The carne asada tacos were also underwhelming and flavorless. I wanted to like Ático so much but we all left very disappointed.

I really enjoyed the atmosphere of this place it'd be a great spot for a date night or girls night out. Really beautiful! The margarita was good, not overly sweet and had a good bold flavor. The food was okay, I think for me the price point was a little high for what we got. The chips and guac was 14 and was a pretty small portion. The arepas were good but again pretty small. The papas fritas were good and had great dipping sauces but again felt like a high cost for a small item. Our server, Trisha, was wonderful! She was super attentive and had great suggestions. I really appreciated the fast and friendly service. Overall it was good but the only reason I'm giving 4 instead of 5 is the prices they either need to step up their food or decrease the cost because it didn't feel like it matched. I will definitely try this place again I'd love to see how it grows and improves.

Went here with a large group and had a taste of a lot of the menu. Almost everything I tasted was perfectly prepared and delicious. The one slight knock was that the Halibut was a bit overcooked. However, the meat skewers were tender and the pollo pibil enchalads were excellent. The verde salsa that came with them was perfection. It was a bit expensive, but the best high-end Latin food Madison has to offer.

Yelp
I came in craving something good, and this place did NOT disappoint. I started with the juicy steak skewers (because duh) and leveled up with the steak tacos and mushroom skewers -- everything was flavorful, tender, and cooked to perfection. For my drink, I tried the Media Noche Margarita made with Rooster Rojo Blanco tequila, orange liqueur, fresh lime, and a hint of charred hardwood. It was smoky, citrusy, and dangerously smooth -- officially my new favorite margarita. On top of the great food and drinks, the service and the ambiance were absolutely amazing. Friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience feel even better. Highly recommend if you're looking for delicious bites, fantastic cocktails, and a team that truly takes care of you!

Yelp
Wow, I had no idea this place existed until a friend mentioned it. Madison is such a great place for a rooftop experience given that our buildings are generally lower than the Capitol and it is a lovely focal point. Alas, we have so few, and I'm so excited this concept opened! I came on a fall/winter evening, but definitely would love to come back in sunny outdoor weather. On the top floor of the Moxy hotel, Atico serves up a really lovely array of Mexican and Mexican-themed foods. They've got some really elevated entree options, but also have a host of street tacos. While their menu is a bit pricey (some were actually outrageous), the happy hour specials they had listed on the table were a great deal -- definitely would love to come back here for happy hour. I ordered 2 al pastor street tacos and a carne asada street taco. They're nicely sized and are decently full with meat. Onion and cilantro tops them off just like a street taco should be. I thought they were pretty tasty. I didn't love that the pineapple in the al pastor was chopped on top and was served cold (the pineapple, not the meat), but I still ate every ounce of both my tacos, so take my complaint with a grain of salt. My margarita was also good, I appreciated that they were willing to make it "up" instead of "on the rocks." Our server was very accommodating and able to answer questions. Overall, I don't know that the food is worth the price, but it would definitely be worth it on a rare occasion to enjoy the rooftop ambiance. The happy hour also solves for this conundrum. So, I'd certainly like to be back to Atico.

Yelp
A rooftop bar/lounge in Madison? Yes please! My review is going to be based on happy hour small bites/drinks. I did not get any of the main entrees-heads up. My friend and I came during the week at happy hour (4 pm-6 pm) on weekdays. This place is a little pricey, so happy hour made it possible to try a few more options. The views of Breese Steven Field are fantastic; if there is a game or concert going on, you will be able to see it all. For my drink, I ordered the Pina Colada, and it came in a coconut glass! I'm a sucker for a good-looking drink, and it tasted as good as it looked. A little sweet but still well balanced. For food, we shared the happy hour Nachos, Coctel De Camarones, and Lobster Arepa. My favorites were the Nachos: very simple but tasty with fresh ingredients, and the Coctel. The Arepa was just alright, but this happens sometimes with Lobster for me. I either love it or do not; someone who is a lobster lover might like it more. Last but not least, the service was great! So friendly and helpful, I will definitely be back for a splurge or a happy hour bite!

Yelp
I stopped here for a cocktail with a few friends right when it opened and I had a great experience! The service was friendly and they were accommodating and knowledgeable. I haven't had any of their food but the drinks are always great here. They have an extensive menu. The space inside is beautiful and I love the bright fun colors! I would love to try their food before a show at the Sylvee or Breese Stevens as it's located in a prime spot on east wash.

Yelp
I had a lovely time at Atico Lounge and would give it another try for happy hour. The drinks were delicious and the service was great. Only feedback is finding the sweet spot for prices with food. It's a hard sell for enchiladas to be so expensive without understanding why. The free basket of chips and salsa is a nice touch though! And of course you are paying for the beautiful view and ambiance of the space--which is unmatched.

Yelp
Ático Lounge is a new rooftop bar above the moxie hotel and it is such a vibe. It's absolutely gorgeous and so so cool inside! They have indoor and outdoor seating as well as a great menu with tons of vegetarian options. I really enjoyed the guacamole and the arepas! The service was excellent and I'm sure this place will be a huge hit now that the weather is getting warm.

Yelp
Our experience at Atico was wonderful! The service was very speedy. Our food was ordered timely and the food arrived quickly which we really enjoyed. The aesthetic of the place was absolutely stunning. It was such a beautiful place and felt very high class. The staff were very kind and helpful! We enjoyed complimentary chips and salsa and for our entrees we enjoyed three street tacos and Pollo Pibil! I will definitely be eating here again.
