ATINA FOODS HOMESTORE

I ran into Atina Foods at the Hudson farmers market and bought the ginger turmeric pickle and love it! It’s great on all kinds of savory dishes and has a great salty zing. I went to a dumpling making event they hosted the following day at their Catskill location and it was so lovely. Really like their whole vibe!

I live in Albany so I never get around to meeting Atina at any Mid-Hudson farmers markets... but I love going right to kitchen in Catskill! When I come home with their "herbal jams" I just have to make pakoras, which get such an extra lift from that Inji Puli. I should find out if I can get Inji Puli at Honest Weight Co-op or elsewhere, but I haven't bothered looking because chatting with Carrie and/or Suresh is half the fun!

These are some tastes I have never experienced before!! Amazing products, and I especially enjoyed some the limited seasonal ones from the home store. Super looking forward to more events on the property, and love watching the workshop videos. Yum!!

All of the products are delicious!! Carrie and Suresh share so much wisdom. We recently participated in a garlic scape pickling workshop and learned how to harvest and prep scapes for pickling, as well as dehydrate them to make dry seasoning. What a beautiful day we had with friends celebrating the harvest and learning about Ayurveda. Thank you for this amazing experience!! We highly recommend ATINA FOODS!! Best pickles ever! My husband and I took an online class in fermentation and it was really helpful. Learned a few important principals that I hadn't been following prior. They answered all our questions during the class and sent a PDF overview of the class afterwards.

I took a pickle making class at their property. I was very worth while. Tea, instruction, discussion over a rice meal from an extremely enthusiastic owner.

The workshop was informative and fun. I will sign up for more of them gladly. There are some kinks to work out, but nothing major. Road noise was one and lighting was another. Hard to control these when filming outside.Looking forward to the next one.
