Atipik Hôtel Annecy

If you are looking for a very clean simple Hotel. This is the one. While we had a mix up on the room booked, they tried to accommodate the best they could. The location directly in the Old City, so walking to everything was a breeze. There was a gentleman at the front desk, I cannot remember his name, but he was extremely helpful.

We had a truly delightful stay at Atipik Hôtel.|It felt like a miniature France — in the room, the bathroom, and the breakfast. And this lovely compactness turned out to be one of the most charming things about it. It carried the true spirit and flair of France.||Despite the small space, everything was done with impeccable taste and style. Every detail felt thoughtful, warm, and genuine.||Special thanks to the reception team — smiling, welcoming, and sincerely helpful. They made us feel at home from the first moment.||We were deeply touched by the entire experience: Annecy itself, the hotel’s cozy atmosphere, the wonderful staff, and the elegance in simplicity.||We will gladly return and warmly recommend this hotel to others.

After online booking and payment, the hotel website replied the room was no longer available. Payment was accepted but no confirmation was sent/received. Therefore we booked another hotel instead, only to find out later the room was actually payed for and thus booked. Upon contacting the hotel refuses any responsibility and/or reimbursement, hiding behind automated processes. So, full hotel fee down the drain. Thanks for nothing. Book at your own risk.

Classic tourist hotel with good value for money. The location was very good for me who was passing through, just minutes away from the train station where the long-distance buses also stop. Also a short distance to the main attractions in Annecy and there are several shops and restaurants in the same street or right outside the hotel. The staff were extremely nice and professional, kudos to them. The noise insulation in the room could perhaps be better, but not something that bothered me.

Very friendly and helpful staff that made the experience easy and enjoyable. Location was also perfect - we had a quiet room overlooking the canal, yet were so close to everything in town.

Great location and friendly staff! The room was okay and mostly as advertised. The bathroom was very small (even for European standards) and did not have adequate ventilation. I wouldn't be surprised if there was mold, but I didn't actually see any.

Ideally located near but not in the old town so without night time noise. Very welcoming and helpful staff whether at reception or in housekeeping. Having a room with a canal view was well worth the extra cost. A more effective shower would have made this review 5 ⭐

The Atipik is conveniently located within walking distance of all major locations in Annecy. Parking is super easy with drop off in front of the hotel and their overnight parking arrangement with a nearby garage. The exterior soundproofing and room amenities were also okay. ||The spoiler is the room size - terribly small. With standard check-in bags, there wasn't enough space to even walk around the bed. They put us in the single rooms (smallest on our floor), despite us paying for their standard double booked on the hotel website.||Lots of excellent places to eat nearby so we didn't try their breakfast. If travelling with family, avoid the Atipik, which is a good pick for couples and single travellers.
