I rarely give reviews but today’s the Valentine’s Day and it was meant to be something special from my fiancé but it was ruined completely because of Atithi restaurant and I’ve been throwing up within 15 minutes of eating. Nothing came fresh, Bhaturas were as hard as rock, seemingly frozen and air fried. Chhole was more than ridiculous and same for Vada pav… both were beyond spicy. Now coming to samosas… they were oil soaked and black… don’t know because of the black contaminated oil or because of reheating it multiple times. Please please please, be careful before ordering because you never know what you are going to get. Attaching few of the photos as a proof. This is all I’m going to throw in the garbage because a sane person cannot eat this without throwing up. Received at 2:50 but writing a review already at 3:05pm.

Atithi Indian Restaurant on Markham Road is truly a gem if you’re craving authentic Indian food, but what makes this place really stand out is the owner, Umang. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with his warm smile and genuine hospitality, which instantly makes you feel comfortable and welcomed. His presence adds a personal touch to the entire dining experience. It’s rare these days to find an owner so involved in ensuring that each guest is taken care of, but Umang goes above and beyond to make that happen. He doesn’t just run the restaurant; he makes you feel like a valued guest in his own home. While the food at Atithi speaks for itself—rich flavors, authentic recipes, and dishes like the paneer bhurji and garlic naan that are absolutely worth trying—it’s Umang who elevates the overall experience. The way he interacts with customers shows his deep passion for both the food and the people who come to enjoy it. His attentiveness and friendly demeanor are reasons enough to keep coming back. For me, it’s because of Umang that Atithi feels like more than just a restaurant—it feels like a place you want to return to again and again.

I ordered a noodle burger through Uber and was very disappointed. The quantity of noodles inside was extremely less — it barely looked like a noodle burger. On top of that, the burger didn’t taste good at all. The flavors were off and it felt poorly prepared. Definitely not worth the money. I hope the restaurant improves both the portion size and overall quality.

I had a very bad experience after ordering one thali and a couple of samosas through Uber Eats. The packaging was careless – the dal was spilled all over the tray and soaked the papad, making it completely soggy and inedible. On top of that, the samosas were overcooked and tasted burnt. When I contacted the restaurant, a staff member named Aayush initially told me to place an order for one drink and promised that a replacement meal would be provided. However, when the app didn’t allow me to order only a drink and I called back, his attitude completely changed. He became very rude and told me not to order from them again and said it was not their responsibility, blaming the Uber driver instead. This was extremely unprofessional and disrespectful. As a customer, I expected at least basic accountability and polite communication. Due to the poor food quality, bad packaging, and rude behaviour, I will not be ordering from here again and do not recommend this place to others.

If you’re not able to cook dishes properly, please don’t put them on the menu just to look fancy. It’s unfair to waste customers’ money. Bathore should never be crunchy — it’s supposed to be soft and fluffy. Please consider learning from a professional chef and improving your skills. There is definitely room for better quality and consistency.

Worst sandwich I’m having today at this place… looks like they remake the already cooked sandwich. We also ordered thali that was good 👍 but highly disappointed with the sandwich.

Bunch of scammers. I went to atithi, to get the take out order for myself. The cashier there suggested me that I would have to order through UberEats to get the BOGO offer. I ordered from UberEats, and showed it to cashier. There was some sort of issue with the app or item listing, but it didn’t go through, as it should be. Cashier suggested me to cancel the order and reorder. I did as per his instructions, and ended up paying twice for the order. After getting my food, cashier suggested me to contact UberEats to get my refund. I left the store and called UberEats, to get my refund. Customer service from UberEats told me that they have to confirm the situation with restaurant before giving me my refund, so they called atithi to confirm that It was application glitch and I had to cancel the order because it wasn’t working then. The lady working at Atithi refused to cooperate with Ubereats people and refused to acknowledge me and the order that I made there, she even refused to accept that one of the Cashier suggested me to order from ubereats. I was simply tgere to order for one meal, ended up paying for 2, double the price and for nothing. UberEats didn’t gave me the refund nor the restaurant. Bunch of looters I would say. I would never visit again, such greedy thieves.

I bought puff patties and samosas. Trust me samosas were stale and didn’t have salt in them also the Puff patties I got were burnt. And guys please make sure that you count your pani puris while having them because they’ll charge you extra money if you loose the count . AND YES THE CAFE KINDA STINK HAS THIS STRONG ADOUR ONCE YOU GET INSIDE

Gujarati cuisine. Not well kept. Food is ok. Cleanliness is lacking. Sugar is too strong in curries

Very unprofessional staff they don't know how to talk to customers. They keep their website open till 2am for orders but cancel the order as their owner doesn't allow them to take orders before 15-20 minutes of closing. Don't cheat the customers if you cannot handle close the store. guys don't waste time ordering with them.
