Breathless in La Paz, the World's Highest Capital City
"In Zona Sur (the south side), a residential and commercial district that is lower and a few degrees warmer than the historic center, the city’s first smart boutique hotel, Atix, opened in 2016."
A true gem in the heart of La Paz, Bolivia, offering an unforgettable experience.
The location is perfect, with breathtaking views of the city. Service is exceptional, especially at the Nativa restaurant, where the staff is warm, friendly, and highly professional.
The food is a delightful journey of unique flavors, and the bar and pool offer stunning panoramic views. 100% recommended for travelers seeking luxury and comfort in La Paz.

It was good! We stayed 3 nights and spent the Christmas here. On the Christmas Day, the servants at the restaurant and the bar gave us really good service! Room was spacious with a great mountain view, and the bed was comfortable.

Fantastic staff, wonderful decor and art, great spa facilities. It was a great way to kick off our journey and acclimatise to the high altitudes of our trip.
The area felt very safe also, the wonderful receptionist (I didn’t catch her name but she worked at around 5:45/6:15pm on Monday the 21st) helped us route a cable car route to see the sunset and as we walked back that evening from the Green station we felt fine.
The spa and massages were great and very good value. I had a lymphatic drainage massage so I can’t say it was relaxing but it was exactly what I needed after so much travel!
The breakfast staff were also wonderful. The infinity pool and hot tub have magical views and this was very much a highlight of our trip to La Paz!

This is a very modern hotel with great design and art plus an ethical approach. The rooms are well laid out with a good shower bathroom. Clean, comfortable and quiet. Nativa restaurant showcases Andean cuisine, very tasty, and the bar next to the pool area has a wide range of cocktails and tasty snacks and small meals. Watched the sun go down from the jacuzzi. There is a range of choices if you need a packed breakfast to go.

Stayed three nights at the hotel when we arrived in La Paz and the one night on our way out of the country. The rooms are clean and very comfortable. There is a enclosed pool and roof top bar with amazing views of the surrounding mountains.||A good breakfast buffet with the option of ordering omelets.||There is a very nice restaurant (dinner only) where we enjoyed a multi-course tasting meal prepared by three Chefs - it was excellent.||The staff was very friendly and helpful, changing money, calling taxis and making recommendations.||You are in an upscale neighborhood with lots of shops, restaurants and markets within easy walking distance.
