We took The Walking Dead Tour 1.Hilltop Josh... yes, he really was on the show at The Hilltop, was our guide and Rick but not Grimes, was our driver. It was raining but slowed down enough for us to get out and walk around. It was amazing to see the buildings where scenes were filmed, like Terminus and seeing the steps that the real Rick Grimes walked down in season one out of the hospital was amazing! Josh told us all about how there were crews of people who come in, pick up the trash and put down safe trash to be sure the actors and actresses don't get injured... then they go back and clean it all up!
Josh was so very informative about all kinds of shows, along with The Walking Dead. He made me realize that we have no idea how much work goes into these shows that we take for granted or complain about because they don't go there way we think they should. I would not want to swap places with any of the actors or actresses or crew because their jobs are by far the most underrated, least understood of all time. That be said, I am not taking anything away from emergency rescue, medical personnel, police, road maintenance workers, and last but most definitely not least, or US MILITARY SERVICE MEMBERS etc. Hats off to all of you! And thank you, Hilltop Josh, for opening my eyes and helping me to have this realization! I highly recommend this tour!!
The pics are of the goat farm where took a break. It was cold and had been raining. The goats were too smart be out unlike us humans. Lol.
