I had booked and fully paid for an apartment at this hotel well in advance. When I arrived eight days later after driving over 1,000 kilometers, exhausted and late at night around 11 PM, I was shocked to be told that they had sent me an email saying they were fully booked. I had never received such an email, and no money had been refunded.
Instead of the apartment I had paid for, I was forced to stay in two extremely dirty and unbearably hot rooms, with no shampoo, no tissues, and very poor conditions. These rooms were in no way comparable to the apartment I had reserved. Yet the hotel staff insisted — quite rudely — that it was “the same quality.”
It is completely unacceptable for a hotel to take full payment for a booking, claim later that they are overbooked, not refund the customer, and then offer a far inferior replacement without any apology or compensation.
If a hotel is truly professional and responsible, it should never take money for something it cannot provide. At the very least, it should refund the guest and treat them with respect — especially after such a long journey. Instead, I was met with rude, dismissive behavior from the staff and zero accountability.
This experience was not only disappointing — it was shocking and stressful. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
