Visiting family in Les Sables D’Olonne for a few days before heading down to our house in the Creuse and booked the Atlantic Hôtel & Spa as it was dog friendly and 100m from the family house. The hotel had booked us a secure garage a few minutes walk, which was excellent. We didn’t use the car for the 3 days, so was perfect. ||Room was on the first floor, great size, clean, large bed and good air conditioning and excellent bathroom. Shower was superb. Breakfast was buffet style and very good. They had ordered in some excellent gluten free bread for my wife. It was so good we asked them if they could get us some to take away. They even went and collected it, excellent service. The staff were so helpful and friendly. Couldn’t do enough to help us. We didn’t use the poo or spa facilities but they looked excellent. ||All in all, a great stay, great location, good value and very welcoming, thank you.

A great hotel on the seafront. Lovely sea view room. The dinner and breakfast package is worth having. Food great. Good choice of wines and varied breakfast choices too. The serving staff are quite young and don’t have the interaction that one experiences with older staff - but we all have to learn don’t we! A very minor point.

The room we had was very comfortable with a good size bed and good en suite facilities. However we had asked for a sea view and there was building work going on outside the hotel which we had not been told about and when we arrived there was the continual beeb of machinery outside the room.|We had expected to eat in every evening of our stay, but the first night we were offered a menu other than that of the meal of the day which was set in a cabinet outside the hotel. The choice was limited and consisted of meat and fries - no salad or vegetables. We tried the hotel meal a couple of days later and whilst it tasted very good, we both had stomach troubles following it. The breakfast staff seemed very nonchalant and disinterested and food choice was limited.|I am afraid I could not recommend this hotel

We had a pleasant stay of 7 nights with a family of 6. Big thanks to the Hotel Atlantic team: very welcoming place, spectacular view from the cozy balconies (seaside), quiet, very clean rooms with AC. The indoor pool is a very nice supplement. Only wish for the next time: more versatile breakfast buffet (not the same cheese and meat, bread etc every day 😉). All in all an excellent place for relaxed days for people of every age.

Nice location but old fashioned French hotel with very small shower, simple breakfast (if you are not the first early in the morning) and staff very young or arrogant. Parking NOT suitable for electric car! Max 3 stars.

Very friendly service! Rooms perfect and with see view. My flight was cancelled at Nantes Airport but althpugh Hotel was full they arrangw hotel in same street. But the service of all the people was absolute great. I come back. Thanks team Atlantic

Great hotel with a lovely sea view. Very clean. Breakfast service was poor. There was only one staff member that had an idea what service was about. The others were in a different world and oblivious to the needs of their clients. It was a big issue for them when I asked if i could use a tray to take my breakfast into the dinning room - bizarre. The service for the evening meals was quite different - very attentive.

Fantastic room, clean and spacious. Staff was excellent. Location was perfect for us. Easy and comfortable walking to the fishing port and restaurants port sections, and the ferry to|La Chaume. Access to the beach is easy, mid week parking in the street was easy.
