What to Eat at Orlando's Universal Epic Universe This Summer

"At the table-service restaurant in Celestial Park, chefs are introducing a seafood-forward but inventive menu: a King Oyster Mushroom Ceviche — with meaty mushrooms tossed in a tangy citrus dressing, plus tomato, cilantro, jicama, and lime juice — pitched as a great option “if you’ve ever skipped ceviche because of the “raw” fish.” The kitchen also serves golden brown-seared sea bass floating in a lemongrass broth that features star fruit for natural sweetness. For dessert the pastry team offers Passion Fruit “Caviar,” a chocolate-and-hazelnut dessert topped with housemade passion fruit caviar-style boba." - Megan duBois

Our server Tiffany was phenomenal. Every single item was cooked to perfection, the ambience is unique and fun, and the service was top notch. Is it pricey? Sure. But you’re enjoying fine dining inside of an amusement park. It’s as expensive as expected.

Google
This restaurant is surreal. It’s beautiful and the decor is extremely original. It feels like being inside a cruise ship and a fish bowl at the same time. The staff is very friendly and attentive. Food here is alright, most dishes are way better than one would expect from an amusement park restaurant. I tried some shrimp engree which was great, the ceasar salad which was also good and the burger au poivre which was not that great but also nothing to complain about. I’d recommend for a proper meal or for drinks if you’re visiting Epic Universe and are willing to sear down.

Google
Great food, definitely exceeds expectations for a theme park. Flavorful comfort food, get the spicy shrimp appetizer! The environment is beautiful; not overly bright, and a great place to rest your feet and catch the water fountain show at the end of the evening. It has a under water Titanic but make it 1920s-steam-punk vibe complete with fish that slowly move around the room. Above everything, the staff were incredibly lovely, personable and helpful - the wait wasn't long, they us seated in one of the best sections right by the window without us asking and gave excellent recommendations. They let us know when the show was starting and guided my partner to move his seat next to mine so he could see the show better. A very fun experience but also welcome respite after rushing through the the rest of the park.

Google
Probably the best option in Epic Universal Appetizers - Shrimp cocktail comes w 6. Standard - *Crabcakes full of crab meat and flavor Entrees - Salmon was good. Crispy skin, meat very very slightly overcooked for my liking. - ***Scallops small in quantity but the best thing here. Perfectly cooked, very slightly over-seasoned -*Sea Bass was flaky and juicy inside. Service: The wait was longer than expected for our table but the food was still very good. Atmosphere: So cool. Fountain view, high ceilings and floating glass fish, thick airport style glass walls

Had dinner here on my last visit to Epic with my daughter. It was the perfect break after a long and exhausting day. The atmosphere was great and nice panoramic views. As far as the food goes. It’s probably the best I’ve had at any theme park. That includes dinner at Disneyland’s Club 33. We had the sweet and spicy shrimp to start. It was really good, just wish there was more of it. It’s not very much to share. The sweet corn chowder soup was also very good. But the star of the show was the bucatini with shrimp. The bucatini was perfectly cooked, and it had so much flavor. The salmon was also great. Perfectly cooked and flavorful as well. The wait staff were friendly and attentive. I’m looking forward to going back next time we visit the park.

Google
This place was amazing! The food was delicious and the atmosphere was great. We also enjoyed an awesome view of the show. I wanted Fish and Chips even though it wasn’t on the menu, they offered something similar for me, which was a pleasant surprise. The service was amazing!

Google
Great experience at the restaurant. The bartender at the main bar made incredibly well-balanced cocktails that really set the mood for the night. The food was very good, well prepared, flavorful, and with solid portions, especially for a park restaurant. Everything flowed nicely and we truly enjoyed it.

Google
Atlantic was such a nice dining experience inside the park. The whole theme is “under the sea,” and from a distance it really does look like one massive fish tank. Fun fact: there are even fish on the ceiling that move around on a belt to imitate swimming — such a cool idea, but unfortunately they weren’t working when we visited, so we missed that little touch. The lower-level dining area felt super luxurious and the layout was beautiful. Our server, James, was amazing — one of the best servers we’ve ever had. He walked us through the menu, gave great recommendations, and even stayed to chat with us for a while, sharing fun facts about the park. My family loves to connect with people, and he made the whole experience even better. And the food? Incredible. Everything was full of flavor, perfectly cooked, served hot, and all came out together. Easily one of the best meals we’ve had in a theme park. The drinks, though, were more style than substance — fun presentation, but I think there was more flavor that alc. It’s too bad this restaurant isn’t outside the park like how Universal is set up because I’d come back here just to dine for dinner!

Yelp
Definitely one of the best restaurants I've been to in a theme-park setting. Friendly service, delicious and well-presented dishes, and beautiful décor -- even better if there's a window seat. If you're spending the day at Epic, I highly recommend booking a reservation in advance. I did take the rating down a bit given they were a bit cheap about not offering a complimentary birthday dessert for the kids; after all, it is Universals.

Yelp
Good views, open feeling with high ceilings, spacious (which is great after the park crowds), & we were seated right away. Service was nice, fun drinks, & our food came out right away. Food got the job done. Generous portions, well cooked, pretty good. Definitely worth checking out & way better than the quick service fast food.

Yelp
Why 5 stars? Because this was definitely our favorite meal during our Disney/Universal weekend. --- --- --- We were ending our day at Epic and debating between eating somewhere at the park or grabbing something in Orlando on the way back to our hotel. Ultimately, my wife noted that Atlantic had lobster rolls and that sold us pretty quickly, as lobster rolls might be our favorite thing on Earth. So off we went. You hardly feel like you're at a theme park when you're inside here, other than the fact that you can see a couple of the rides through the glass windows. It's a pretty nice dining experience and you're very shielded from the ambient noise of the park. As for the food, we started off with the sweet & spicy shrimp, which was perfectly fine - a solid 3.5 stars. We then ordered the aforementioned lobster roll and the burger and then split them. The lobster roll was top notch - an easy 5-stars. I was fully expecting it to be skimpy in terms of the lobster, but it was the opposite. They really jammed every last ounce of meat into this thing and served it with a side of melted butter. It was what my hopes and dreams are made of. The burger was also very good - I would have been happy with it, had the lobster roll not existed, but it just got outshined by the fact that the lobster roll was so excellent. 4-stars. We finished with the Landlubber's Snickerdoodle Loot for dessert, which is served in a very kid-friendly manner. The problem is that mom and dad wanted to eat it so quickly that our son didn't get to try more than a bite or two. 3.5-stars. If you're coming to Epic, it's not going to be a cheap day, but I recommend splurging one final time and grabbing a meal here.

Yelp
Atmosphere is great, food is wonderful and the staff is nice. First time here, we made sure to get a reservation

Yelp
5 months later and this is STILL the BEST restaurant and now it is also officially the BEST bar at any Universal theme park. I came back a second time just for drinks. When you walk in, you walk literally into the bar at the top of the restaurant. There are a bunch of seats to order drinks, and only drinks. Today, I was feeling like espresso martinis. For $18 an espresso martini they're better than any drink you're going to get anywhere else. It's a legit espresso martini. Think Wine Bar George or The BoatHouse at Disney Springs. I had the bartender make mine with vodka, the normal way. Although there is a manhattan espresso martini on the menu. Love the a/c. Love the drinks. Love the food. I'll be back, lots and lots and lots more.

Yelp
The food service and ambiance was all worth the price tag! We were spending eh day at Epic so looked ahead and knew we wanted to try the lobster roll. Its a hit! We also had a shrimp appetizer the Girl loved! The server was fabulous and we enjoyed a delicious recommended mock tail. Thank you!

Yelp
After an entire day spent at Epic universe, we ended up here for dinner. We waited for about 5 minutes, no reservations but they were able to accommodate us. The restaurant is beautiful with eye-catchingly colorful fish decors. The bar area was spacious but we were seated at a quite corner in a half-moon booth. Our waitress was quick with the service and friendly. We ordered our drinks and our main courses right away since it was quite late and did not want to linger for too long. I had the sea bass and my husband had the burger. We both enjoyed our meal. My sea bass was prepared perfectly with excellent flavors. I ordered their piña colada panna cotta which came with coconut meringue dotted with pineapple drops. So good! It was definitely a fantastic way to end our day ar Epic.

Yelp
We stopped in just to try the Landlubber's Snickerdoodle Loot, and wow--it was adorable! The dessert came out quickly, and the service was excellent. I definitely recommend using the little shovel as your spoon--it totally amplifies the experience Totally worth the visit! Docking a star only because the cup and utensils weren't as clean as we'd hoped. Otherwise, a super cool stop

Yelp
A day in the newest Orlando theme park doesn't always prompt thoughts of a fine dining experience, but when your mother asks to attend an Epic Universe preview for Mother's Day (yes, this review is late), you say yes and also make sure to take her to a proper sit-down dinner. Atlantic did not disappoint, though theme park prices are certainly in full force here. A beautiful multi-floor restaurant overlooking the park's water features, our booth felt secluded and service was quick and kind. Drinks were worth writing home about, but specifically the sweet corn chowder and Prince Edward Island muscles certainly stole the show before our main dishes. My bucatini was a bit salty, but not overpowering. Certainly not an every day occasion restaurant, but a great addition to the high-end theme park dining experience list.

Yelp
Came here for our anniversary dinner after an epic day at Epic Universe. Appreciate that they allowed for free and easy reservations; props to my husband for planning ahead! The waitstaff have kitschy sea-themed phrases, like "if you want to swim into the entree", etc. Food was good; the ahi tuna plantains were a bit salty, my corn chowder had a few random, oddly placed pepper notes. But overall, not bad. The dessert was the highlight- we got the biscoff and cake; presentation was very cute.

Yelp
The theme is a luxury Atlantic cruise ship. Everyone is dressed the part, and the decor is beautiful. There is a mechanical ocean above your head that moves while you're dining. I'll say that the ratio of Co2 to syrup here for the coke machines is phenomenal. Also on a hot day, you can't beat this upscale style menu and air conditioning. My wife & I both had lobster rolls, and the kiddo had the burger. Hot goodness, glad I got the aoli on the side. Much better than the lobster rolls I had in Boston. Worth the price for sure, would stop in and have another one of these rolls if I had the time or the appetite. The in park dining at Epic is "epic".

Yelp
The experience started off a little rough, but got better over time. We showed up on time for our reservation and were escorted to a private booth that gave us a beautiful view of the park and some space away from people. There are a lot of tables sat next to each other, and I'm glad we did not sit there. It took around 10 minutes for anyone to stop by and about 15 minutes for cocktails to come out. That was frustrating, however whenever they eventually came, we enjoyed the AC and made a game plan for the rest of the day. My son ordered the burger medium and it came out almost well done; we didn't send it back because of how long everything took. The lobster roll was heavenly, but a tiny portion for $50. My husband enjoyed the crab cake. Elizabeth was a very nice server overall. I'm glad we came, but I would do quick service next time over a $200 lunch where we barely got anything.

Yelp
Loved the Atlantic inside Epic Universe. We did wait about 15 minutes for a table which wasn't bad. The decor is beautiful and loved sitting looking out at the fountain. Tyson was our server and he was the best, gave so many great recommendations and checked on us continually. For lunch I ordered the Bucatini alla Adriata which was great. For dessert my niece and I shared the Landlubber's Snickerdoodle Loot which I'd definitely recommend.
google avatar

Yelp
Beautiful ambiance, good service, beautiful water show at 10pm. Food - lobster roll was delicious, seasonal salad was good, my son's fish sticks were so cute but the chips had so much salt that it shouldn't have been unacceptable to serve. They should've seen that when they scooped it into the cup. We told the server and he acted like that shouldn't be unacceptable but that was it. My lobster roll was ok - but had some shells in it. Overall, ok, but wewouldn't come back.

Yelp
Welcome is very theme-park; take it or leave it; from nice very young people. Server Mike is more professional and friendly (Thanks Mike!!). Cocktails Drinks are very expensive (Theme Park). We asked for natural lemonade but no luck; only Fountain. After seeing menu; we ordered three appetizers; the crab cake is good size but nothing special, the plenty Sweet & Spicy little Shrimps also OK, but closer to Costco / BJ's frozen Asian bags. The Oysters Valentina are also Ok, but only 4 small oysters for $21. Ambiance is a good respite from the park but lunch of only three appetizers with tap water and tip was $76. Not a good value.

Yelp
Atlantic is Epic Universe's "elevated" dining experience option in the park. It feels very grandiose when you walk in and see the beautiful bar that looks over a balcony and stairs leading down to the main dining area that then looks out over the whole park. Want the best dining view at the park? Come to Atlantic. We came during the week for dinner so it wasn't super busy, but I'd recommend making a reservation ahead of time if you want to eat here. We had a reservation, it wasn't busy and we still had to wait to be seated. They had a pretty small menu, but all seafood themed as you'd expect from a restaurant called Atlantic. I tried the filet mignon, and it was one of the best pieces of meat I have tried in awhile, just fantastic. It came with some form of layered potato on the side, and having a bite of filet, with potato and the sauce altogether was just chefs kiss. We really enjoyed their seafood pasta as well. And where the food menu is smaller, the drink/ wine menu it probably twice that. Lots of fun options, we didn't try this time but the bar up top you can sit at and get a drink even if you don't want to dine in. Our waitress was a super sweet Puerto Rican gal (can't remember her name sadly) and Alaowei who was the food runner were wonderful and made the experience a lot better. It still seemed like their service could become a little more efficient considering it wasn't super busy when we came. And because it's higher tier dining, the prices more than reflect that. The food was at least enjoyable so the money wasn't wasted, but definitely just something we wanted to try for the experience and wouldn't be willing to pay real often. However, if you want a fun and exquisite dining experience underwater with the acrylic fish overlooking the park, you got it right here.

Yelp
Wow classy! It felt so fancy in there especially for a theme park. The view is beautiful and the inner theming is very good. The staff are very nice, professional and efficient. The food was very yummy, I had a blackened grouper sandwich and that may have been the best tasting fish I've ever had. The drink we had was underwhelming but looked cool. Not too many options on the menus and all rather pricey but they are definitely going for quality instead of quantity! Would highly recommend during an Epic Universe trip.

Yelp
We seriously cannot think of a bad thing to say about this place. We will start with the view and the ambience in the restaurant. Absolutely amazing view of the park along with the fountains in celestial Park. The fish and the artwork on the inside is absolutely beautiful! We ordered the chili shrimp appetizer, the scallop entrée, the shrimp, pasta, entrée, and the snickerdoodle dessert. We ate every last bite of every single item. There was so much flavor, everything was cooked correctly, the dessert was sweet, but not too much to give you a stomachache. We cannot think of a single thing bad with this place! We have already been talking about going back again and trying other entrées on the menu.

Yelp
Mussels are super nicely presented and pretty tasty actually. Scallops was the move. Drinks also have some spunk to it
google avatar

Yelp
This was just an overpriced and ultra limited menu with sub par food and service. Disappointing! Pass!
google avatar

Jam M.

Yelp
This restaurant is absolutely beautiful inside. The details are top notch! Very spacious insides with multiple floors. The staff were beyond helpful and friendly. Now, the food was pretty freakin delicious! We ordered the grouper sandwich, baked oysters, Atlantic burger, and the Bucatini Alla Apriata. Everyone loved their meals. Food came out hot and fresh! I will say, make reservations on the Universal App if you can. We happened to walk in and there was only a 30 minute wait. This was on a Wednesday at 1:00 pm. Overall, my family and I enjoyed this place. Give it a try if you're at Universal Epic!
google avatar

Yelp
The restaurant is lovely with beautiful fish hanging on the ceiling. Beautiful fountain view. The service was excellent and friendly. Pauly was our server. He was excellent. I had the sea bass. It was delicious but the vegetables that it came with were undercooked. My husband had the lobster roll. It was excellent. My child has the Mac and cheese kids meal. That was okay. I wish I took pictures because the presentation was perfect. Nice restaurant in the park.
google avatar

Yelp
Lunch was exceptional at Atlantic, a beautiful fine dining restaurant with stunning views of Celestial Park through soaring, floor-to-ceiling windows. Their Potato Mille Feuille was the very best version I've ever had, boasting an impossibly crispy exterior and achieving perfection with its exquisite truffle cream sauce. Although the filet was just a touch tough and the oysters teeny tiny, the meal was delicious. Service was also quite exceptional. Our server was incredibly personable, funny, and friendly.
google avatar

Eric J.

Yelp
Walking into this place makes you feel like you're on a cruise ship, the view is actually EPIC! Our server was the best (Estefania), you could really tell that she cares and loves her job! She came through with the bomb recommendations and great vibes. I had the Filet Mignon which was pretty solid, definitely didn't disappoint. Paired that with an old fashioned that also got the job done, my wife had an espresso martini that she loved as well as the grouper sandwich that seemed to be pretty good too. We honestly didn't care for the desert that we chose that they were hyping up but it wasn't bad enough to dampen our trip here. The prices were semi expensive as you would expect for fine dining at a theme park but for sure worth the experience!
google avatar

Monica B.

Yelp
Amazing restaurant! Amazing food and amazing ambiance! Great service! The pasta and shrimp was delicious ( both of our kids got it and both loved it) . Me and my husband we had the fish sandwich and agreed was one of the best we had in a while! Highly recommended! The only things they have to improve is the reservation system. Even though we had reservations and we got confirmed we still had to wait at least 15 minutes to get seated for some reason.
google avatar

Jeff S.

Yelp
One of the better restaurants in a theme park. Solid menu and really tasty food. Service was impeccable. Had the romesco romanesco. Others had the grouper sandwich, crab cake, corn chowder, seasonal salad and bucatini. Everyone at my table of 6 were very happy. Very nice ocean theme inside. Decent craft cocktails and a couple local craft beers on tap. Make reservations!

Yelp
Had a wonderful visit to the Atlantic. Stunning views of the colored fountain show. Beautiful steampunk colorful sea life overhead. Our server Tyson was amazing and attentive. I ordered the bucatini and my husband got the lobster roll. Both were delicious. We ended the meal with the pina colada panna cotta. Lovely meal to end our Epic visit.

Yelp
I was lucky enough to snag a reservation at the Atlantic during Epic's technical rehearsals and preview days! (And with that, I recognize they are still training and working out all the logistics.) We arrived a few minutes prior to our reservation and opted to get some drinks at the bar, as our table wasn't ready yet. I tried the Northern Lights (purple drink) and it was refreshing and beautiful. Several people asked me what I ordered simply because it is so eye catching. We were seated about 15 minutes after our reservation time and there was a bit of confusion about who our server was - but once it was sorted, we got to ordering. We shared the sweet and spicy shrimp (like bang bang shrimp) and it was delicious. However, the mussels were the real star of the appetizer round - they were hearty mussels of a decent size. I loved the cilantro sauce and the tomatoes that came with. It was a healthy portion and, of course, topped off with some bread to soak up the delicious broth! For entrees, our party tried the bucatini, the lobster roll, the grouper sandwich, and the sea bass! And it was all delicious and fresh. I had the sea bass and did find it to be a bit salty - and the carrot mochi were just odd - but the fish itself was light and the coconut broth was so so flavorful...I wish they'd given me a spoon or bread to soak it up! During dinner, I also tried the sand dollar cocktail - it straight up looks like sand, which wasn't appetizing - but the drink was so refreshing, light and coconuty - without being too tart from the grapefruit. The only small downside was from our reservation side, we were there for almost two hours and had ordered pretty immediately after being sat. For a food option inside a park, I hope they speed up service slightly so guests can get back to the park! But overall, delicious food and in an absolutely gorgeous building, with stunning views of the park and fountains!

Yelp
So for our family dining around Universal has generally been a disappointment. We had hopes with Atlantic in the new Epic Universe. I give two stars only because then ended up buying two of our entrees.. otherwise it would have been one star. The pros: the restaurant is visually very nice and gives a high end feel. Our server was good and attentive. The cons: The (huge) fail was the food/kitchen. My wife had salmon and she liked it. Our daughter had Mac and Cheese. Before I had a chance to try my scallops she ask me to try her Mac and cheese. Taking a taste there was no semblance of warmth. It was clearly room temperature at best, probably had been sitting out for a long time. I called the server back and let her know and she took it. Then I had a chance to try my scallops and risotto a small bite of the scallop seemed good, the risotto underneath cold. I called the server let her know and she took my plate back too. The plates came back. The mac & cheese was hot halfway through at the bottom it was still room temperature, but my daughter was hungry and just ate it. For me the plate (meaning not food but the plate) was warm. Risotto was still cold. I imagine they just put it under the broiler or in an oven for a bit which would've made the scalps hotter (and probably overcooked). but we never get through to the risotto. I was not happy I pushed the plate away told them I'm not going to eat this. It needs to be remade not just reheated. Finally came back and it was hot all the way through. Once done right it was good but I've never had to send a plate back twice....the kitchen is clearly not paying attention and for what should be a nicer restaurant that was very disappointing. The manager did say he'd buy the two plates so they sort of made it right. But I was hoping for so much more in quality... So far the only places in universal that I have been really happy with is the mediterranean restaurant in the new hotel, Helios and the restaurant in islands of adventure Mythos So there you go. I would not recommend this restaurant for a meal. But there is a bar in the upper section..stop in and have a drink as the atmosphere island look is nice

Yelp
We ordered the jumbo crab cake and lobster roll to share. The portions were generous, and they didn't skimp on the meat. The crab cake did have a bit of a corn flavor that I didn't love, but the sauce was great with it. The lobster roll was definitely the star of the show. I loved that it was warm. There was plenty of lobster meat, and the bread was soft and pillowy. The lobster meat was also high quality, and they gave us an entire claw. I would definitely get this again. I also enjoyed the homemade potato chips that came on the side (though admittedly they could have used some salt). The service was also great; the server was friendly and gave great recommendations. It is a nice, more upscale setting.

Jem M.

Yelp
The crab cake and mussels are a MUST-TRY! We ordered the steak and the bucatini - both are lacking salt and flavor; we had to ask for salt. Service is good and the place is stunning! We got the snickerdoodle for dessert - it's yummy!

Yelp
Came here excited after reading many good reviews. Fast seating, great & moving decorations, friendly and attentive server and nice view of the epic universe park started thinga off right but unfortunately cant help when each served item had issues. We both started with the corn chowder, which we were both excited for. However it was bland and mealy. I guess maybe it needed sugar and salt, we did not eat much of it. My amaretto sour was extremely sour, but perhaps some people may like that. Main course one: filet was perfect internal color for med rare however had outer burned spots that ruined the taste until the spots were carved away. Main course 2: the scallops had a very fishy taste I've not experienced before, but the risotto was fine. However that night I woke up to a mild case of food poisoning. Unfortunatley given the price point vs food quality I cannot recommend the restaurant and have no interest in returning.

Yelp

Yelp
We went here for a nice meal while were were at Universal Epic. The restaurant is located near the entrance, within Celestial Park. I ordered the cheeseburger and it was maybe the best burger I've had in many years. It's hard to describe but it absolutely was delicious.

Yelp
My wife took me here for my birthday. We had Paulli and he provided great service! The food was delicious and exceptionally quick. The view is nice and the nautical theme is fun! We'll be back.

Yelp
I knew I had to visit the Atlantic while at Epic Universe and I wanted until the hottest part of the day to do so intentionally. The Atlantic has an amazing inside with beautiful views of inside celestial park. You can see the fountains alive Al throughout the day from pretty much any view inside the restaurant. I did not dine here, I only went to sit down at the upstairs bar. The air conditioning inside makes a visit to the bar a very high recommended experience for a summer Orlando afternoon. They have a bunch of drink options and they can make anything a typical bar can as well if nothing on the menu appeals to you. Now what I am most satisfied with is they had a unique selection of draft beers from local Orlando breweries! I got the orange blossum Pilsner which came as a 20oz pour for around 10.50 which I thought was a fantastic deal. I would highly recommend this option if you like blue moon as it tasted similar. It's a refreshing beer for the hot summer heat and the orange flavor just reminds me of Florida. If you have time when at epic universe you should definitely visit the Atlantic! They also have a sit down restaurant that seems fantastic that I want to try next time I visit!

Yelp
Atlantic was fantastic. Everything from the ambiance, service and food was excellent. It was a nice place to take a break and enjoy a great meal.

Yelp
Food was fantastic and well presented. Beautiful atmosphere and very friendly service. Oysters at a theme park? Who has heard of such of a thing? Not only that, they were delicious. Unfortunately, only got the "after" picture of the oysters but none of dinner. Only feedback was that the ticket times were very slow.

Mollie N.

Yelp
Okay, Epic strikes again on amazing food and experiences. This meal was amazing! Our waiter was also exceptional. The view of the park from every table is spectacular. We had the tuna tartar, raw oysters, crab cake, lobster roll, scallop risotto, and beef tenderloin. I only have two complaints: 1, some of the waiter staff was a little less friendly. I went up to one employee to notify them that the paper towel machine was empty in the bathroom and she seemed a little annoyed. Maybe she was having a bad day, and I totally get that so I don't fault her for it if it was a one off! Also, the steak at our table was supposed to be medium rare and it definitely arrived medium well. I know it's a theme park but this restaurant has higher dining prices so guests expect higher quality preparation. Even though it was overcooked, it was flavored so well and it was still very tender! Def give this place a try!

Yelp
Great service, excellent ambience and views over Celestial Park and very good food from a creative menu. Filet mignon was excellent. Salmon entree was good but slightly overcooked. Desserts are just a visual feast. Two thumbs up and would return.

Yelp
Pros: The servers are really great here, the restaurant itself is beautiful, and the food is mostly good. The undersea theming and the proximity to the fountains make this a really fun place to dine. Cons: They do seem to be having some new-restaurant issues related to sequencing from the kitchen. There were a few significant oddities in the way our food arrived. First, one member of our party had an allergy, and their food arrived 3-5 minutes before the rest of the table for each course. Second, one of the dishes we ordered (scallops) was largely tasty, but the roasted broccoli in the dish was cold and wilted. Third, for the dessert course, our desserts arrived several minutes before any utensils with which to eat them, as our dinner utensils had already been cleared. It seems like the staff are struggling to get all components of each dish ready at the same time for proper sequencing to each table.

Yelp
This was our first visit and couldn't be more pleased. The service was outstanding, as was the food. The shrimp cocktail was delicious, and was served over cocktail sauce made with watermelon. The crab cake was delicious as well. We will certainly return.

Yelp
I've only been to the bar at Atlantic, but I've been twice. I have to say that the drinks have been SOLID and very balanced and the bartender we had was genuinely one of the nicest dudes I've ever had the pleasure of chatting with at a bar. The ambiance in here is AMAAAZING. Getting out of the hot Florida air into this gorgeous, steam punk, ocean-themed place overlooking the water is such a great time. 100% recommend. We'll have to come back for actual food sometime when we decide to face the crowds again.

Yelp
Pleasantly surprised with the awesome food! Can't believe that we were eating inside an amusement park-fine dining in a very casual atmosphere! We also had a cool and amazing server-CASEY!

Yelp
Best theme park food I've ever had. The grouper sandwich was amazing, as was the lobster roll! Cocktails were also great!

Yelp
The restaurant is located in Celestial Park at the Universal Epic Universe theme park. They are still in the soft opening preview stage. It is a full service restaurant that has large glass windows facing the Neptune pool with great view. Inside glass walls reminiscent of an enormous Victorian aquarium. It has a very cool looking bar area but according to the team members, the bar only serves drinks without food at the moment. The restaurant menu items mostly are seafood with a few land options. The dish portion sizes are smaller but well prepared. Out of all the dishes I tried, I love the Bucatini alla Adriata (Shrimp Pasta) the most. The bucatini pasta reminds me of fresh made udon noodles and the creamy tomato sauce, arugula , and herb breadcrumbs made a perfect balance of flavor and texture. Definitely recommend this entree. The service there was also top notch. One of my friends had trouble with the temperature of the fries and they quickly brought out fresh hot batch replacement. I had a great experience and will go back again in the future.

Yelp
We went back to The Atlantic today and while the lobster roll was good, the burger was a letdown. We asked for it as rare as possible and it came out medium to medium-well. They're okay with the seafood, but they've got a lot of work left to do when it comes to meat. Servers are great but expect your food to take 45 minutes.

Yelp
This is easily the worst restaurant I've dined at in years. I've been to almost every restaurant at Universal as well as Disney and this one is by far the worst. Only positive is the view. It's a beautiful scene looking out the large windows. First off, ordered a Whiskey Sour, and was literally brought what tasted like straight lemon juice. Sent it back and got a bottled beer. Gf ordered a drink that I forget the name of, it changes colors. She said it was prettier than it was tasty. For apps we ordered the shrimp cocktail and the oysters. The oysters were gritty. And the shrimp were most definitely frozen from a bag. Ate at the Boathouse the night before and their shrimp are the best I've had. The cocktail sauce was also like water. I got the filet mignon for my entree and it was awful. Rough on the outside and completely raw in the middle. Ordered medium rare. And the potatoes that came with it were nasty. Gf ordered fish and didn't care for it at all. We left halfway through meal. No review on any desserts. Beware of this overpriced low-rate food. The view is nice for a beer. That's about it.

Yelp
I decided to try Atlantic during my first trip to Epic. The food and drinks were great but our server was the stand out part of our experience. Brecken was absolutely amazing. She was on point for all of the menu recommendations and very attentive during our meal. She also had great advice for the park and was so funny and nice.
