A very solid option for a sit down dining experience to end your Epic day.
While this restaurant is certainly pricey, I do think that if you order smart (and read reviews to make sure you get what you want) it’s worth it to take an hour of our day to sit down and slow down.
- Old Fashioned : A nice strong pour for an old fashioned, with a slight hint of the date syrup, but pretty much exactly what you’d expect.
- Norther Lights : Pretty much a very beautiful lemon drop martini, but not too strong or sweet. Well balanced and worth it for someone who wants a pretty drink that is still well mixed.
- Fried Shrimp Appetizer : A solid starter that will please most eaters, and has a good crunch with a nice flavor for the sauce it is tossed in, served atop a small bed of cabbage so it’s not as large as you may expect, but decently portioned.
- Baked Oysters : I didn’t try them, but my partner who loves oysters said they were solid, but nothing truly memorable. If you love oysters, it’ll satisfy the craving but nothing as a must have.
- Scallops on Risotto: The scallops were cooked perfectly, but admittedly I think the risotto could have used more seasoning, or the mushrooms flavor should come through in the risotto more. The dish was overall really nice and I’d suggest it.
- Seafood Bucatini Pasta : Hands down the BEST dish we tried at the table. Perfectly cooked pasta with such flavor and a good amount of shrimp. Highly recommend this dish especially for the price.
- Sea Bass : Well prepared fish but it’s a very light dish. If you’re hungry, you might need to order a side dish accompanying this or an extra appetizer, as it’s very simple and light. No strong flavors here, but perfectly acceptable.
We opted to not get desert as I’ve heard they are just OK, but they are pretty and presented well. Overall with other sweet options in the park, I’d go elsewhere here.
Service was 10/10, and the atmosphere is amazing, but if you have to pick 2 restaurant for truly memorable food, I’d head to golden dragon instead personally.
