Atlantic Tower is our go-to stay when picking up my partner from the airport. The location is great—close to the airport and within easy reach of everything in Glenelg. The rooms are on the smaller side but feel cozy and comfortable for a couple. The bathroom is a good size, and the spa is a nice touch for a relaxing stay. Check-in and key collection are always hassle-free, making the whole experience smooth. A great, reliable option for a short stay!

A very downmarket place. Self checkin, very disappointing room for the price. Everything looked dingy, from the polar fleece bedding which clearly hadn’t been washed for years to the grubby carpet. The bright spot was the bathroom and the view over the city was pretty. Glenelg beach is beautiful but I’d never stay in Glenelg again. Avoid the Japanese restaurant on the Marina Pier as well. Adelaide’s such a lovely city but I’d stay in the city next time…

Atlantic Tower Glenelg exceeded our expectations with our stay over the Easter Break We had the most comfortable clean perfect Queen room with a balcony in the absolute best location. Beautiful beach and nature walks but only a short stroll to restaurants and shopping Very kind and helpful staff with the added bonus of free parking Thanks for the great holiday Can't wait to come back. As we were arriving at 9pm we contacted reception to ask if late check in was available and were told yes. Upon arrival the automatic electronic check in machine was out of order, it took the man over 1/2 and hour to arrive to let us in but not before arguing with us about the electronic check in (he thought we couldn't figure it out). When he arrived, after 10pm, he acknowledged that he hadn't activated the machine. By this time there were two other groups also waiting to gain access. We were happy with the room, it was spacious and clean and the location is excellent. The building is quite tired though but for the price, good value - if you can get in!

Will never stay here again! Rooms are old and shabby. Spa was stained and had broken parts. So called mood lighting was not working or non existent. Carpet looked like someone had poured water all over it and was not nice looking or to walk on. The rooms are defiantly not sound proof! There is no real service as we just had the key fob put on the counter and not even any instructions as to how to get to our room or what we even needed to do. Its just old and shabby! Wished we had spent our 10 year anniversary elsewhere as i wasted our money on this! Defiantly not worth what we paid! Whole place is in need of a major renovation! Id be lucky on the normal start rating to give this 1/2 a star! Just the honest truth! And don't worry about contacting the hotel about this as they never even reply!

I only booked in for 2 nights, but it's so good I extended for the week! Such a great place I'll happily recommend to anyone coming to Adelaide. So well located it's amazingly cost effective. Everything you need is within 500m. Great staff, efficient, polite and easy to get along with.

Although I'm not staying until April 2025, I have stayed here before. The room when I stayed before was great - clean and comfortable. Location is fantastic - pretty much in the centre of Glenelg, close to shops, restaurants and the beach. What I have a problem with is the Receptionist! I rang on 21/1/25 to confirm my booking for April and to query the payment. The phone was picked up, and after I heard some rummaging around, the person said "Hello?" No indication whatsoever that it was the Atlantic Tower Motor Inn! I had to ask whether this man was the Receptionist or just some dude that was passing by!! He certainly needs to learn some customer service skills!! I seriously considered cancelling my booking because of his distinct unprofessionalism - and I said as much. Anyway, I didn't cancel at that time and he answered my questions. EDIT: However, after reading other reviews from only a few months ago, I decided to cancel my booking a few days later. At least when I rang to cancel, the phone was answered in a more professional manner!

Beautiful views and now at least staff at reception which helps so much. Nice clean and roomy. Very central in Glenelg. Loved our 2 day stay again.

Yelp
Being reasonably local, I'd seen this many times as I drove past and was often curious about the building. Fast forward to my 18th birthday and I received a one night stay in room 106 (a spa room) with my partner as a gift! As soon as we walked through the door we were amazed by the friendly service. We were in our room in no time and felt most welcomed. We had a little explore of the room and soon found the multicoloured party lighting which became one of the unexpected highlights of the stay shortly after! After this, we made our way down to Jetty road and had a yiros, which accidentally dripped oil on the crotch of my partner's pants. Never fear! The laundry facilities had us back on the streets looking presentable before we knew it! We passed the wait time for the washing machine with a much welcomed soak in the spa. Couldn't figure out how to connect to the bluetooth speakers to my phone/laptop but that's probably a fault on our end. We found the bed comfy, rested well and found the room service breakfast was delicious, hot and on time! All in all, if you're looking for a great stay without breaking the bank, this is the way to go! The only issue we had was that the we couldn't get the bathroom door to lock, but this was only a minor inconvenience.
