I don't leave many reviews, but had to for Rodolfo and his staff. This is truly one of the best places I have ever stayed in my entire life. The property is tucked away, your own little slice of paradise. Only a 15-20 min. walk to one of the most beautiful beaches - Lopes Mendes. As everyone leaves to get the boat back, you have the pleasure of the entire beach to yourself for sunset. What made the stay excellent was the staff. Felipe, Fernando and his wife are all so nice and make sure you feel like you're at home + give you a taste of the amazing Brazilian culture. Don't get me started on the food, especially the breakfast. We will definitely be back very soon. Thank you for everything Rodolfo!

Paradise. Lovely quiet spot where you can kick back in a hammock sipping a cocktail while you enjoy the jungle and stunning island views all while logged in to Starlink WiFi. Breakfasts are fantastic with fresh squeezed juices, homemade yogurt, and seasonal tropical fruits. Even the eggs are farm fresh and flavorful. The restaurant has a good selection of perfectly prepared filet mignon or seafood or try the floating restaurant in the bay if you wish. Be sure to arrange the private transfer service from Rio or Parity with the desk. Credit cards are fine but sometimes drivers want cash so check with the lodge before arriving.

Such a beautiful place, right in the middle of nature. Access to 5 different beaches nearby (3 by foot, and 2 others by kayaks), including Lopes Mendes (20 mins walk through the jungle). We stayed here for 5 days and did not get bored. The team is super kind and caring too 🤍

I would give them 10 stars out of 5. Service, food and atmosphere of this place is stunning. It felt like a dream. This hospitality is nothing i could even see home in Europe. I am trying to find some willpower to leave this place. I checked out at 10am and it is 3pm and still want to stay here. 😆

This is a wonderful place to stay, and I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a quiet and/or wildlife focused stay on Ilha Grande.||The lodge is nestled at one end of a small bay, and stretches up the hillside. During the middle of the day there is some foot-traffic on the beach, heading for Lopes Mendez beach (20 mins walk away), but in the morning and evening there is literally no-one else around. When it rained it felt like we had the whole end of Ilha Grande entirely to ourselves. There is easy access to the walking trails, and an amazing amount of wildlife within easy reach. ||The lodge is small (just 4 rooms, we were the only guests on our first night) and has a very laid back and friendly 'family-run' atmosphere. The rooms are basic but comfortable, and some have a really nice outlook. The dining area has an amazing view across the bay - for breakfast, or just for a drink in the afternoon. ||The food was absolutely outstanding. Breakfasts were, for us, perfect (yoghurt, granola, pastries/cakes, bread/meat/cheese, eggs to order). Dinners, which need to be ordered early (since there might only be two guests!), were delicious. ||We were unlucky in getting a couple of days of rain, but that is really the only negative I can think of!

Beautiful place , the best location close to Lopes Mendes, excellent staff, truly friendly owners, great communication before and during stay, little monkeys all around the reception area, great start point to many of the the hikes that Ilha Grande has to offer. Breakfast is terrific, specially the brazilian specialties! We absolutely loved it!

We travelled across Brazil for 3 weeks in May and ended up staying 3 nights in Atlantica Jungle Lodge. Let me tell you this was the absolute best place we've been in this coutry. The location is just astonishing - you wake up to an incredible beach and fall asleep to the sound of waves and grasshoppers. You are also only 15 minutes away from Lopes Mendes, considered one of the most beautiful beaches in Brazil. This allows you to stay until the sunset and be completely alone there since everyone else needs to catch a boat or walk ~2h to the nearest town. I can't put into words how beautiful and idyllic those moments are. The lodge itself is incredible too. There are only 4 rooms available (make sure you book in advance!). Staff is some of the most attentive we ever found. Felipe and the rest of the team are extremely kind and provided everything we needed to have an amazing stay. They felt almost like family. Rooms are very clean and surprisingly comfortable for a lodge in the middle of nowhere. Prices are a bit on the expensive side, but totally worth it. I can now say they are very fair given the whole experience they provide. I can't recommend enough this place!

Really loved this place. The staff were helpful and arranged all our transport to and from without taking any commission. They also had lots of suggestions as to what we could do and recommended a great bit trip. Food was delicious and helpings were generous. The view was sensational; we are now at a 5* hotel in Angra but feel the view and service at Atlantica was better! Room clean and comfortable. Everything was authentic and beautiful.
