Atlantico Boutique Hotel is located at Southern tip of Punta del Este. The hotel is situated about 10 minutes drive to Punte Del Este bus terminal and 25 mins walk to 'The Mano' sculpture. There were plenty of restaurants and bars within walking distance towards Marina direction. There is a small swimming pool at the back of the hotel, and it looked cosy. There were some complimentary coffee and tea at 2nd lounge room every day from 1pm to 7pm. The decor in the lounge room was quite clean and modern. Our room is a king-size bed and a single bed overlooking the beach on the 2nd floor. The room is average in size and the bed is very comfortable. The bathroom is a bit small, and the bed linen and towels were new. There is a bus stop just in front of the hotel where you can catch a bus to Enjoy Punte Del Este Casino and resort.

We had a great time. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the room was clean and modern. We loved hanging out by the pool and going down to the beach. The breakfast had good options. We will definitely be back!

Disappointing two night stay in this hotel. ||While some of the common areas look recently renovated, our room on the top floor was very small with grubby fittings. The smell of some type of pungent lemon cleaning product was overpowering despite all the windows being open.||The walls are so thin that conversations and other noise could be heard, even from across the corridor. The rooms at the front overlook a bus stop and the buses are very regular from very early in the morning. ||Breakfast wasn’t bad and the staff were nice.

When we arrived at The Atlantico Hotel we asked to see the room because the neighborhood and the hotel were very rundown and we had concerns. When we went to see the room, the walls were dirty, the refrigerator rusted inside, and the bathroom light and mirror were broken. There was a bug on the bed and there were stains everywhere. We went back down immediately and told the receptionist that we didn’t want to stay here. He said too bad, there’s nothing I can do, we will charge you for 3 nights. We asked for a manager and he said there wasn’t one but would call. We waited 29 mins and no help. We told him again that the pictures didn't reflect the condition of the hotel. He said he couldn’t help. We decided to leave and find a new hotel as it was getting late fast. They charged us for 3 nights. Stay away from this place.

Loved the hotel, well designed, clean and comfortable. The room was well.appointed. Breakfast had a good selection of food, hot and cold and plenty of healthy options. The only downside is the location, it is a bit bleak at night and not the best neighborhood for walking after dark. I had thought the peninsula zone would be upmarket and well cared for, there were some nice areas by the coast but the interior had many abandoned buildings and boarded up shops and restaurants.

Since we arrived ( early) we were greeted and welcomed. We were celebrating anniversary and got a room overlooking the city and the water. Bed was very comfortable, shower with a fantastic pressure, good towels and clean, crisp linens. Breakfast was superb, added by smiles and good attitude of the person in charge. If you are looking for comfort, cleanness, service, Boutique hotel Atlántico is a must.

Nicely designed hotel in the quiet area of the Peninsula, but still walking distance to many restaurants and bars. The reception is welcoming and so are the staff. There is a garden with a bar and a pool (nice for a dip but too short to properly lap). Our room was ‘ok’ but a bit disappointed as it was meant to be a ‘superior’ room. The biggest issue we have had during our stay is the noise: the buses frequently passing in the street were waking us up , even with ear plugs. Also the walls and doors are not thick enough and we could hear other guests.

Don’t be fooled by the “Boutique”. I have traveled extensively and this is the worse hotel to date. Maintenance and cleaning lacks. No iron or basics usually found in a room. I don’t know where they are getting the reviews to raise rating. TripAdvisor missed the mark on this one. Absolutely rethink any stay here!!! There are no words listed here to best describe.
