Atlantico Hôtel garni

We highly recommend the Hotel Atlantico. It is in a great location with just a five minute walk to restaurants, Migros grocery, and the bus station that goes to the train station. It is also within walking distance to the Mt Bre Funicular and the lake. Sara and Nicolas are exceptional hosts. They go out of their way to help with whatever one needs. Their breakfast has just about anything you could possibly want.

Really really enjoyed my time here. I never do reviews yet I really want to share my perfect experience! This is a very clean, super friendly staffs, nice boutique hotel walking distance to everything: bus station, lake and grocery store. Best highlights were the smooth after-hour self check-in, breakfast (!!!), the 24/7 cappuccino machine + small cold drink fridge at the entrance, and the spacious balcony in my hotel room!! This stay made my trip really memorable and would absolutely book again next time. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Probably the only reasonably priced hotel in Lugano The room decor is very retro like a hotel from the 80s-90s, but spotless to a level you wonder if they repaint them the same after every guest. I got a little terrace to sit at with a view of the street. There is a communal iron which I was glad of and free serve yourself coffee and tea. The only thing that would have been nice would have been a communal fridge to keep a pack of cheese or cold drinks. The service was super friendly and breakfast was really fresh with lots of choice Would definitely stay again.

Hotel Atlantico is perfectly situated, close to the lake, close to the Monte Bré funicular, but away from the hustle and bustle of the city center. The room was very clean, bright, and well designed, including a small balcony. The breakfast buffet included a variety of options, including a station for freshly boiled eggs, which was a real treat. The staff were very courteous and helpful, providing suggestions for nearby activities. We loved our stay in Lugano and would look forward to staying at Hotel Atlantico again in the future!

The hotel has a great location near the Monte Brè, the Lago di Lugano and you can reach the old town also really quick. The room was very nice and also the service was very friendly. The breakfast was also very delicious. The check-in and check-out also were very easy. I also got the Ticino ticket, that allows you to use the bus for free and gives you some other discounts.

Amazing and the friendliest hotel staff I have ever come across. The room was clean. Breakfast was delicious. The location was very close to the city centre. We were provided with free public transports tickets for our stay. Loved it and will definitely be back.

Only stayed one night but had a very pleasant experience. Very friendly hosts, clean room and perfect "continental" breakfast. Close enough to city center but away from the traffic and noise. Big bonus was that they have a few on site parking spots. If I'm ever passing through Lugano in the future (I hope!) I'll be sure to stay again.

We stay in Atlantico Hotel in August 2023, the place is located in very quiet neighborhood few steps from the bus stops, the lake, restaurants and grocery stores. The room was clean and had a balcony shaded by big trees. Breakfast buffet is simple yet enough to start the day. The hotel desk and stuff were very friendly and we got Ticino Pass ready as we arrived. We recommend hotel to anyone.
