Atlantis Hotel

What a beautiful hotel, it has the elegance of a bygone era, which we like. The views and location were fantastic. It’s a very classic hotel, 1 of the first hotels to be built in Fira with lots of history, which was fascinating. The pool was perfect for a morning swim or cooling off after a day sightseeing. The room was classic, comfy with a fridge and great air on, right next to the pool. Our terrace was huge offering the best views of the Caldera, the sunsets were spectacular. Breakfast was excellent, lots of choice, taken on the terrace over looking the Caldera where the magnificent Condors (birds) would sore and dance in the sky, a truly wonderful sight. The staff were so friendly and helpful. My American friend and I just loved this hotel, we had the most amazing stay. I can’t praise this hotel enough it was the best place we stayed on our month long stay in Greece and am planning my next trip but for longer, 5 days just wasn’t enough.

Loved the location of this hotel. The view from our balcony was incredible. I was sad to leave it. Rooms could use a little updating, but were clean and perfectly comfortable. Breakfast was good. Staff was friendly. There was so much to walk to from this hotel, without everything seeming so crowded. Went to Oia for a bit and was completely overwhelmed with crowds and was happy to be staying where I was staying.

Such a beautiful hotel ,right where the cliff path starts from Fira to Oia .breakfast is amazing ,very nice view from the room .reasonable prices in Santorini .if you are looking for something ultra luxurious this is not it but for us it was amazing and convenient .special thanks to Eva and Nikos at reception .

I booked this hotel expecting a 4-star hotel the way I have experienced 4-star hotels around the world. However, this felt more like a 2-star hotel. Here's why: 1) There is no parking for your rental car, you have to shlep your luggage up a hill from a public parking lot. 2) The rooms are very outdated with old tiled bathrooms. 3) The shower is in the middle of the long side of a tub. Very inconvenient to shower. 4) The reception is a tiny little desk unlike anything I have seen at 4-star hotels. 5) The breakfast was not bad but also nothing you'd expect from a European quality breakfast. If you are an elderly person with knee issues there is also no elevator for rooms on the second floor. The price per night was super steep. I am sure I could have found a much nicer apartment or suite at a much cheaper rate.

I cannot recommend this property more highly. The location is perfect, right in the heart of Fira, room was very comfortable we stayed in the room with the Caldera side view and had a small balcony on one side where we could watch the sunrise and a huge balcony overlooking the Caldera and Fira street. The staff were amazing, nothing was too much trouble and they made you feel very welcome. The terrace bar is the perfect place to watch Santorini's spectacular sunset.

Perfect location and great service. We enjoyed breakfast on the patio overlooking the sea. We had the best spot to watch the sunset from our room balcony. Was so glad that we didn't stay in Oia which was over-crowded and there was hardly any room to walk through the narrow paths.||Fira is a better location.

Hotel Atlantis , Santorini |Pricey for a 4 star but location is everything on Santorini and Hotel Atlantis is in the main square in Thera and right on the edge of the caldera and if you have a balcony with the caldera view like we did then this is a perfect place to stay . Rooms are on the small side but well appointed , great shower , weak wi -fi signal but the staff keep the entire hotel spotless . Breakfast can be hit and miss especially with the fried eggs but overall a good choice especially on the salad side and the view from the dining room is awesome and we had no complaints . Hotel Atlantis is visible from almost everywhere in Thera and you walk out the front door to restaurants and cafes and you quickly find out that the better the view the higher the cost of everything but a street or two back from the main drag is where most locals eat and there is great choice there especially close to the bus station . I was very happy with my stay in Hotel Atlantis and would recommend it highly . The hotel staff are really nice and helpful but the reception staff are particularly welcoming and provide great assistance and tips on day trips, places to see , restaurants , taxis , buses and our five night stay was enhanced and added to by Peter , Eve and Dimitri who were fantastic .

Our stay at the Atlantis was superior. The hotel itself is quaint and authentic. It has kept its period decor which Is appealing. It is impeccably kept and the staff was very attentive. |But what really distinguishes it are the UNBELIEVABLE VIEWS!!! BREATHTAKING!!! Morning and evening you will say wow!!! Also the hotel is located a few minutes from everything. I highly recommend it.
