I had an okay experience with Atlantis -- I'd like to give it 2.5 stars, but there is no such option so I'll go with 2. I stayed in one of the deluxe beachfront bungalows. The bedroom was nice but the bathroom was full of ants. Also, the cleaning is done every other day -- you need to request the reception if you want it every day, and they say "They'll try".
The food at the main restaurant is okayish - not that great. Also, the variety of the dishes is pretty much the same.
The service at the lounge bar was very nice and both the guy and the girl over there are quite polite and sweet. However, the service at the reception is quite poor -- in particular, the slim Greek lady on the reception had quite a rude demeanor throughout. This is quite in contrast with the staff in the lounge bar (oh, and the bell boy was nice too).
They have a games room with a few pool tables, however it is quite hot in there, and you need to ask them to turn the air conditioning on every single time, which doesn't really help -- as it does not really cool the room down. Also, the pool tables only take coins (card not accepted), and the receptionists are quite reluctant to exchange coins for cash. So they actually make it hard for you to use their own service.
The swimming pools are decent, however they are not deep enough so you can't do any actual swimming.
In short, the Atlantis has its location going for it, but not the receptionists. The service is certainly not as one would expect from a "4 star hotel".
