Just back from a 7 night All Inclusive stay at the Atlantis. Firstly the good bits.......The public areas of the hotel are of a good standard, well maintained and clean. Food in the hotel is varied (especially when you consider they are catering for many nationalities) and tastey. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a quiet area about 30minutes walk from Kos Town with a regular bus service stopping directly outside or a taxi for 8 euros. The gardens are lovely. The not so good........ During the day you can only drink beer, wine, soft drinks or strangely cocktails....no spirits with mixer on All Inclusive. Full drinks menu is available from 5pm onward. However my Wife and I both found the spirits and soft drinks/mixers to be pretty much undrinkable and resorted to buying named brands from the hotel supermarket. In fairness the lager was okay. Our bedroom was tired and in need of a complete overhaul but was kept pretty clean Overall we found this hotel really good in so manyways but sadly let down by the tired bedroom and the drinks situation. We would have happily paid a bit more had the above been improved.

We had a fantastic holiday in Kos staying at the Atlantis Hotel, but before going into the review - i do alot of research first before booking anywhere, checking out reviews, the local area & peoples experiences. Due to this I had an clear vision of what to expect - i'm please to say that our experience met all our expections.||HOTEL - beach front, we paid abit extra of a panoramic view room. It was well worth it. Our room was on the fourth floor and we had a great view over the sea & to the Turkish mainland.|The hotel is massive - we were surprised in mid October how busy it was, pool areas great & the hotel bars etc were nice but could get very busy.|We normally went to the pool closest to the beach which was abit quieter with the added advantage that you could get off your sun lounger & be in the sea in less than mins. (Beach is quiet stoney but once you get in the sea is sand - i'd recommend water shoes)|FOOD - a few fussy eaters in our group, there was plenty of choice and no we had no complaints (only criticism was some of the items could have been abit warmer)|DRINKS- pretty good all inclusive package but it took a couple of days to get used to what you could/couldn't have. Tea & Coffee upto 10am only is abit strange.|We found the cocktails abit hit & miss but after a couple of days worked out the best ones. Some are pre mixed & not great but after some trial & error, we worked out the ones that were proper cocktails & these were nice - the Kamikaze been everyones favorite. |LOCATION - Kos town is a 25 min walk away, you can walk down the road or we walked a couple of times done the beach. No. 2 bus stops right outside the hotel - 1.5 euros each way. We also found that there were Hoppy scooters just outside the hotel, we found these great fun & you could be all the way past Kos town harbour & to the marina in about 14 mins (about 4 euros each trip)||All the staff were very friendly & helpful & we found the hotel to be exactly what we expected for a larger All inclusive.||So in conclusion, it was exactly what we wanted, yes there are a few flaws in the hotel & the all inclusive program but these's didn't effect our enjoyment of our stay.|As i said right at the start - do your research first to see if it is what you are looking for. If you are looking for a quiet small hotel with top quality meals, then it's probably not for you. But as a whole package for location, views, food & drink included it may be the prefect choice for staying in Kos

The hotel is generally old-fashioned . You can see that.Room is old, but clean. 1 TV station in English - the rest German. No bottle of water inside the room, weird smell from the fridge We had an issue with locker but the service repaired it quickly. Good mattress. Food is tasty and varied. Be aware that sometimes is crowded and you have to wait for a spot. Animation team is nice - however there are only 2 members (Kat - really liked her) - I think sometimes not enough for so many people. Service is extremely helpful and you can sense the hospitality. Love that. Perfect location - 30 min walking distance to Kos City. You can also take a bus - 2 euro per person (sometimes 1euro). Beach is nice and clean. But lack of available umbrellas around 9-10am, even though they are not free of charge.

I initially booked to say at Atlantis Hotel for 7 nights in October, but felt so at home and enjoyed it so much, I extended an additional 2 nights. The facilities are great, with plenty of space by the pool, a bar and lounge and game room! The rooms were spacious with great views, and the food was amazing! It felt like home cooked food, with an abundance of options everyday. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and an extra thanks to the Manager, Onur, for making my stay so special! The hotel is located around a 30 minute walk from Kos Town, but with plenty of restaurants and bars along the way! It sits on the beach, making it an ideal place if you want to relax.

The experience there was great. The hotel has everything you could need or want. A beach, pool, bars with free alcoholic drinks, tasty food, and a kind reception. The manager himself was very helpful and professional. Free table tennis and tennis were a nice touch that delighted me. The only downside was the rooms and some parts of the hotel which were visually old. A proper renovation would be suitable. I wish the hotel and its personnel all the best.

this was our 7th visit to the Atlantis and did not disappoint, the maids did the room every 2 days and that was fine by us the entertainment girls were really great and had time to chat to us. the food was really great with plenty to choose from and i even tried some new dishes,( i just don't know as to why people put the food as no good) chefs great job once again. Bar staff all really great and a few we have got to know over time was great to see and chat to them again the grounds are kept lovely,|hopefully we will be back next year for our 8th time|all in all a great time we had|thank you all at Atlantis|Dave & Alison

Went as a couple with Jet2 on an AI one week holiday. Pitched as 4 star, which means additional 10e per night tax on arrival, it was overall disappointing, which is a shame because the grounds are great, clean, well kept and location excellent, right on beach (though have to pay for loungers and anything from beach bar) & 30min walk into town or catch the bus. Staff work hard, always appear busy & are friendly and approachable but not much info of arrival or in room and if you want to know anything you need to ask. Accommodation and food were not good. Accommodation was tired (obviously not a refurbished room), ongoing drainage problems along the block of bungalow-type rooms we were in-very unpleasant smells and reported by us and others in same area over the week, ongoing battle to keep insects (including ants) out of room, not helped by cleaning only every other day. Beds at least were comfortable though. And the food, while there was plenty of choice-could have found something to eat (which was good for me as a fussy eater) - it was always either lukewarm or actually cold-saw so much wasted food, probably because of this. We are not drinkers so was very disappointed that even coffee was limited on the AI unless you paid for it-how hard would it be to leave a couple of machines on instead of the vile vat of dishwater at end of the bar? And if you are late (9am onwards) for breakfast, forget it & go out instead-it is manic in there! (Highly recommend Surburnt Arms for full english!) Staff did their best, were responsive with complaints (but only so much they can do with drains, I know) did give us a kettle & cups when requested but overall was glad to be going home. I have paid the same or less for much better experiences & this one did not match any version of 4 star I'm afraid. We are perhaps simply not suited to AI & the costs of eating out on top of holiday cost + tax made this an expensive break.

What a wonderful relaxing holiday we had. We absolutely loved our bungalow room location right next to the beach. I had a morning swim each morning at 8am!|I cannot believe how lucky we were to get this position - thank you!||We booked through Easy Jet holidays. It was I think very good value as all inclusive. The rooms were cleaned every 2 days which was great. |We loved the gardens, the beach, Kos town and the easy hire of bikes, a shop at the front of the hotel. We cycled into Kos town, Psalidi and Tigaki.|We enjoyed having a drink at the pool bar in the early evening and playing cards on the main terrace. There were also some fun activities at the pool.||The staff were all friendly and food lovely. The dining room was busy but to be expected as the hotel was busy.||It was one of our best ever holidays and thank you again for our amazing bungalow location.||Anne Bisset
