This was my second A.I. holiday in the Atlantis Hotel. I enjoyed my first holiday in 2023 and this year there was a huge improvement in food quality thanks to Nikos, the new Greek Head Chef. He is an excellent chef and made the holiday for me. He is very much hands-on and can be seen most evenings in the restaurant helping out his staff, and, like most Greek people, he is a friendly, helpful person who is always willing to talk to guests.|The hotel is large with extensive, well-kept gardens and located in an idyllic location approx. 30 minutes walk from Kos town. It has a private beach with panoramic views of the islands and Turkey. Everywhere throughout the hotel there is wheelchair access.|The staff are nice and helpful. |The rooms are fine and the bathrooms have baths and showers. Bring a multi-socket extension lead if you have many electrical appliances as there are only 2 sockets in the bedroom. In 2023 I had a nice quiet room. This year I was on the third floor in the main building and found it somewhat noisy with people dragging furniture around and slamming doors(inconsiderate guests), so whenever I return I will ask for the room I had on my first visit. |Taking everything into account, Atlantis is a well-run hotel with pleasant staff and great food in a lovely location. Highly recommended.

As a solo traveller, this was a perfect hotel and location. The reception staff were so helpful as I had a couple of issues that they helped me sort out. A lively chap helped me to my room, which made me feel safe as I arrived at 1am. Beach front was perfect, and there was plenty of space around the pool. There was no kettle in the bedroom, which was disappointing.

Just returned from a weeks stay. This could be a beautiful hotel, however it does need some serious updating. We had a twin room in the main block. Room was a decent size and immaculately clean but terribly dated especially the bathroom. Garden and grounds are beautiful and well kept.|Food was ok. We always found something we enjoyed however everything was cold / just warm. Beer and wine was nice and found a couple of cocktails I liked. |All in all it's not as terrible as some reviews but we've stayed in much better. Wouldn't returned unless it was completely updated.

Let's start with the good: check-in smooth & staff very welcoming. Our room was not as expected but would be changed the following day. 1st night, On the 4th floor and the room was spotless. No complaints. |Our first experience of the main bar was not good, with a verbal exchange, but that was later rectified with no ill feelings.|The food was quite varied for AI, with something for everyone except the most fussy. The fresh bread, salad and fish were lovely, and it was good to be served decent butter. |The room(s) we had were clean and we had no problem with the presentation of the rooms.|I'd rate the hotel a decent 3*. The staff throughout were pleasant and polite, with special mention to Faik & Klement.|All the negatives are mentioned: beach costs, poor drink selection in tiny glasses, and lack of sunbeds at the pool.|We had a good overall experience, but it may be different in the height of season.

Well this was a lovely break for 7days and the suite we had was right on the beach. I’m going to give you my honest opinion as I know there been a few bad reviews. My suite was fantastic modern clean and tidy. We did have an issue with the toilet press breaking but they was out straight away to fix it and even gave us the option to swap to another suite of the same quality. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the manager himself was a really nice man and let us stay past our checkout time because of the toilet issue which was delt with very quickly. The food was plentiful, I think they need to change the menu of food over the week, and also make sure it’s a bit hotter for the meat dishes as I found myself having to heat up. But it was nice enough to eat. Cocktails was a let down for me. I love a cocktail but sugar syrup and alcohol and soda water don’t make a good cocktail. I ended up going into Kos old town to cocktail bar and that was class. Would I stay again yes already looking to book up for next year so that my thoughts. Thanks to all the staff and Manager for making my stay memorable I’ll be back x

My partner booked us an all inclusive holiday here and the room and views were amazing and very clean and tidy, however the reception staff was quite moody and rude imo, the food was okay but quite repetitive and the drinks at the bar was very limited considering it being all inclusive entertainment was good quite enjoyed it the location on the beach was spectacular regarding views and sea breeze , the best part about this was the views and the bar staff and cleaners was all so polite and friendly. Also the restaurant staff was amazing very quick and brilliant at their jobs.

I would highly recommend the Atlantis Hotel, arrived 22nd Oct to the 29th 2024, our room was on the 4th floor room 438 with a great view of the mountains, the weather was 22c to 24c, guess we were lucky for this time of year, Hotel and room was very clean, the hotel staff were very friendly, the food was great, if you like Salads it’s a must to visit, home made soup every day, fresh bread, Pasta and meat dishes, something for everyone. ||It was great relaxing holiday experience.

I had an okay experience with Atlantis -- I'd like to give it 2.5 stars, but there is no such option so I'll go with 2. I stayed in one of the deluxe beachfront bungalows. The bedroom was nice but the bathroom was full of ants. Also, the cleaning is done every other day -- you need to request the reception if you want it every day, and they say "They'll try". The food at the main restaurant is okayish - not that great. Also, the variety of the dishes is pretty much the same. The service at the lounge bar was very nice and both the guy and the girl over there are quite polite and sweet. However, the service at the reception is quite poor -- in particular, the slim Greek lady on the reception had quite a rude demeanor throughout. This is quite in contrast with the staff in the lounge bar (oh, and the bell boy was nice too). They have a games room with a few pool tables, however it is quite hot in there, and you need to ask them to turn the air conditioning on every single time, which doesn't really help -- as it does not really cool the room down. Also, the pool tables only take coins (card not accepted), and the receptionists are quite reluctant to exchange coins for cash. So they actually make it hard for you to use their own service. The swimming pools are decent, however they are not deep enough so you can't do any actual swimming. In short, the Atlantis has its location going for it, but not the receptionists. The service is certainly not as one would expect from a "4 star hotel".
